I’ve got a letter today from “ArenaNet” with following text
“Guild Wars 2 Account Will Be Shut Down Inform
We are sorry to inform you that your login account [redacted] will be shut down or partially limited within 72 hours due to currency transactions or abnormal login. If you want to remove restrictions, please click the following link to validate:
https://******** ****** */login?##
Please keep in mind that Guild Wars 2 is a global game with hundreds of thousands of players. This means that standards of behavior must be upheld. For your convenience, you can obtain more information about our rules at the address listed below.
Guild Wars 2 Account Support Team"
That “validation link” leads to site quite similar in appearance to GW2 site but with strange address on .tk domain. It asks you to enter your serial key, character name and e-mail to complete the “validation”.
Just wanted to warn ya. Cheers.
P.S: I strongly suggest you to not follow the link above!

Well, that’s interesting. I should try to play with my other characters (not the one getting error 7) and see it myself.
That’s strange that being so much of a “personal story” game, GW2 lacks the “Bio” tab in hero screen. Yes, there are many players who don’t care about their character’ story and just play, I surely can respect that.
But adding an editable bio tab would add so much to immersion and useability for players who are really into their characters. You will have many praises from people not only residing at “RP” servers.
Yes, I suppose that won’t be difficult to implement, not technically. You have hero tab framework already, so adding a new tab with some icon to it + adding an option to targeted character menu with link to un-editable version of that same tab to read shouldn’t be a problem.
As for me, I always create not just a character, I create a story. And intro storytelling and choices help that big deal. I want people to know why am I an elementalist, what happened around me prior to game story unfold. Because “this is my story”.
1. Noone says TS isn’t just botter who got away and wants to clean his name up for future use.
2. Anet is one of few companies who really DOES something about bots in their game, and there is no other way to do it. Harsh times, harsh measures. Prove me wrong, I dare you.
3. I’m totally not surprised that TS got banned (even if just set up by several people).
I strongly recommend you start with http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Warrior and http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/List_of_warrior_skills
PS: Just wondering, how did you get yourself to 80 without any information about your profession?
As short as your question is: it is important for certain builds.
There are many attacks that aimed at you directly, and others that have “ground” aim. You can walk away from these, but aimed attacks you should dodge to evade.
As for damage reduction while moving, there isn’t any confirm about it.
ranger seems like a rather broken class right now… they don’t seem to have much in terms of support at all… their claim to fame is the massive tanking bear that puts pve leveling on easy mode but stinks at anything difficult because he dies from bosses sneezing…
that said… no matter how broken the ranger is, he’s still much better for PvE because the engineer is really really really bad… that’s not really a compliment to the ranger… engineers are just that bad…
You forgot to add one essential part to your outrageous statement. It’s “IMHO”.
Engineers and rangers are both great and if you like your profession, you’ll be able to play whatever WvW/PvP/PvE with it no problem.
Ranger is somewhat similar to WoW’ hunter, pet catalogue is enormous, tho some people believe that “tanky bear” is only viable choice from it. My opinion: don’t listen to rangers who don’t like to be one.
I’m at Ruins of Surmia. It’s one of least populated servers and still there’s always some people around at any given time of day. I strongly believe this is issue on your side.
Cheers for clarifying that guys.
There’s everything you need to know at http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Daily
PS: Dailies aren’t stupid.
Wiki doesn’t give straightforward answer, so: Is there any way to obtain more than 1 laurel a day?
Hoooch.
As far as I’m concerned, no you can’t. There’s no way to do it with this character. Sorry.
Look in: http://www.gw2spidy.com/
There is a zone that have the exchange rates in the home page
Cheers!
Oh, thank you so much for the site, mate! Google never showed it to me whatever I tried to imply with my query ) Thank you all guys, that pretty much wraps it up.
PS: And that link should be stickied for future uses.
Big red bar at the top of page.
“We are doing some maintenance work in 10 minutes.
This might affect your connectivity.”
You should be the member of Vigil. Go to Vigil Keep in Gendarran Fields, there should be armor trader.
I hope this doesn’t breach the RoC, but I need to know
I’m out of my workstation for some time, but I desperately need to know what’s the exchange rate of gems to gold right now (or today at least)?
Thank you in advance.
Yeah, completely agree with both previous posts. Of course, it’s in human nature to take everything good as granted and to find a thing to complain in any given situation. That’s why “there’s nothing ideal”. But try just once to play other MMO, and all complaints fade. Just because any other MMO is some kind of kfsjsjncuenladasdfffuuuuuuuuu!… after Guild Wars 2. And it is a fact.
At least until any other company gets their heads out of their… boxes and try to do something new like ANet did.
Name: Beatsbury
Main Character: Sigmar Skysword
Current Server: Ruins of Surmia
Interested Activities: Me and my beloved wife were just enlightened (by multiple deaths in ascalonian ruins) that 2 players is not enough for all activities in GW2 so.. looking for friendly players without major quirks to chat, occasionally run dungeons and do other stuff. We run a proud guild of 2 members named “Tea Club”.
Active: Play mainly after 4-5 PM GMT. Work and stuff.. you know
Additional Comments: It is not obligatory but we’d love to play with people who try to stay in sense choosing their character names. Too tired of SAYSOMETINLOLs and Motherloving Pwnzors who usually act like they name their characters.
And one more thing: english is not our native language, so be ready to laugh.
Are you willing to participate in Operation: UNION’S project, Y/N?: Why not, it’s a good cause.

Well, you can olways consider reducing the graphic settings. That should help a bit.
Ruins of Surmia is pretty alive and still not chokingly full. There are always some people to run around with starting from lvl 1 areas.
You can use this catapult for limited amount of time. Seems like you should wait for next iteration of this event.
The funny thing: all of “simpathysers” claim that intelligent being couldn’t help but use the market loophole (over 15 thousand times of course), still that same INTELLIGENT being was not smart enough to put 2 and 2 together and presume that this mechanic could possibly be an exploit?
Oh gimme a break.
Warrior. Definitely. Necro is not for newcomers, to say the least.
Well, I get your point as well, Raideen. And I fully accept that fact.
There where couple really good suggestions like Skyrim or EQ2 (I personally adore both).
All I can say is there’s still an upside in buying gw2: the game will continue to evolve I’m sure and you just could check it someday and find what you miss in it now.
Well, from my point of view it seems you played gw2 like some grind-fest, which minimises your rp if not destroys it (whatever you told about ad&d).
I’m sure as hell you won’t see anything interesting in any game played like that for such a long time. Good luck in your search though.

1. Kodan. Because, you know, “Koda is the judge, kodan are the jury”.
2. Quaggan. Because of ooooOoooo! and hooOooo!
3. Plush Griffon. Just because.
Well if you’re totally new I’d suggest you watch these https://www.guildwars2.com/en/manual/
Most of novice players just aren’t aware of these consumable benefits. I know I wasn’t before my wife became a chef and started to test them on me.
I suppose you are just feeling an urge to get social to write such nonsense for purpose.
You should assign a button to walking. As Solid Gold said, it is in options.
There’s nothing to rant about actually. This intended to be demand-supply based mechanic.
