it very well might be disallowed because of the legend… most games frown upon real world characters being in the game. … especially one as notorious as this

in addition to losing your account for days, its possible youve lost tens or hundreds of hours worth of work as well

really wish they would just make it possible to recover the account using information used when setting it up, minus the email, so that it would be possible to self recover rather than wait days and days for a response.

no kidding.. ive yet to get a response to my issue across multiple threads and my own…

its awesome, my choices are sit back and apparently wait for whenever someone finally gets to it, or try and actually get some help and risk an infraction.

guess ill post it here as well, not that i think it will actually do any good

Our customer support team is prioritizing hacked accounts and other blocking login issues over other types of support requests. We’re currently responding to prioritized support tickets within 48 hours, and will soon be responding within 24 hours.

im at the point where ive nearly given up..

all my friends are now miles ahead of me, borderlands 2 is out on tuesday… and ive yet to recieve a response, other than being told that theres more than 5 hours of live support.. (by live, i mean where i can actually talk directly to the person, and all ive found is thursdays from noon to 5 cdt on ncsofts live chat beta)..

well, assuming their working in order, i should get mine back soon..

however, i saw someone who got their account back yesterday, and their ticket was newer than yours, but older than mine (morning of the 6th)..

so, there doesnt seem to be any order.

i had hoped to play guild wars 2 to pass the time until borderlands 2 and torchlight 2, but its looking more and more like ill be playing them while i wait to get my account back…

wish i had known how long it would take to resolve any problems before i ordered the game.. feel like ive spent more time looking on the forums/checking email/checking support than i did actually playing the game.

got hacked on my last day off… coming up on my next one, and it still looks like i wont be able to play..

yea.. a minimum 5 days to a week to hear anything back is crazy bad service…

furthermore.. the only “live support” offered is 5 hours a week. (from the parent company).. dunno how they expect to compete with the big boys with problem solving like that.

so probably around 2 weeks.

unfortunately, i cant do that as i cant remember the full login for my ncsoft master account… and one of the recovery questions mustve been mistyped when i put it in.. (tried every single variation i can think of)..

had a ticket in over there since the 7th about getting it reset.. ignored there as well..

i swear, it seems ncsoft has the worst support in the industry… a week without a response is ridiculous.

Haven’t heard a response (except the useless automated one) since it was created..
Current game status updated says that compromised accounts should be resolved within 48 hours (soon to be 24), but his account has been locked out for over 120 hours now..
