Centaurs does seem like a very possible plot. However, the character also reminds me of the Wardens (from Cantha) but I think that’s just wistful thinking.
The picture is called QJ (probably Queen’s Jubilee as others have suggested) but also Next Hero. Who is this “Next Hero?” That’s what got me curious. I’m hoping for new zones to be released soon, considering it has been a while since they expanded the living world team (and they still have a tonne of people working on big projects who have been working since release).
NextHero is a sort of code that they use to label upcoming updates. It doesn’t mean anything other than that.
I am confident those are centaurs. Remember that one centaur in LA who appeared around Dragon Bash? He might be a clue about what is about to come.
the real issue is this
item salvage is an infinite way to gather as many achiev points as you want
people with loads of gold can simply purchase their way into 15k AP’s like thisAs long as they do not adjust these kinds of things it will never work properly.
I am pretty sure they capped the agent of entropy (if that’s the one you’re talking about) to 250 points.
Yes, Anet originally planned to have the Tengu as a playable race at launch, but that was dropped early in development.
Well you didn’t specify when you quit, but the newest WPs and POIs are in Plains of Ashford, Snowden Drifts, Brisban Wildlands, Wayfarer Foothills and there were some added to Orr some time ago. You can use the wiki to see where they are (look in talk page).
Amazing as well.
Also what happened to the giant dragon corpse?
That’s how Arah dungeon used to look like.
I got a similar problem. I try to run the launcher but nothing happens. I’m not getting any error messages though.
Um, no. LFG, fotm and lvl are still there in the same order. That’s what’s triggering it. Just say something more different, the suggestions Kumu gave you are actually fine, it will let you continue talking in map chat.
Assuming that your logic is how the spam algorithm works, it is stupid. I change up a character to make it unique, and it still gets flagged? Kittens
Changing a character doesn’t make it unique, at all. That is to make it harder for bots to spam their messages – if not then bots would be able to spam all the time, day and night, just by changing a single character in their sentence.
Just say something different in map chat and you get unflagged, stop making such a big deal out of something so miniscule.

I am wondering this as well.
I just finished my exotic gear yesterday. And I still want to play more (but can’t because of school).
This new gear doesn’t really bother me. I actually can’t wait for the new dungeon, it looks super awesome. Actually, I only went for exotics because it was a long term goal that I could work towards. With dailies and monthlies giving karma though, it became short term haha. I was never really asked for that gear in any dungeon or content unless I went by myself somewhere dangerous – like Orr.
To me, the new gear just looks like another goal I can go for after I finish my other goals.
All of the responses here reminds me of the tiered trait system unveil.
The chain event only occurs once, but will run through multiple hours. If you still can’t paricipate, I am sure you won’t miss on that much. The Island and new events will
stay there forever.
Well, there’s a big update coming out the 16th of November.

I take it we are all just overreacting and we don’t know all about them.
Jesus Christ, only 2 hours and already a 7 page long thread freaking out about this type of item!? I mean, I knew people would freak, but didn’t expect them to be so fast.
I am not entirely sure about this new armor tier. It seems more like the equivalent of legendaries for armor. I guess Anet is trying to cater to those people complaining about lack of longevity and incentives after reaching lv80.
Exotic gear wasn’t really hard to get to me withut grinding. With the new achievements giving out karma, I could get a full exotic in a month just by playing the game normally. It wasn’t grindy at all – and I know you can get that gear even faster by doing dungeons combined with dailies and monthlies. So I am not that bothered with this change.
that is epic! thanks for translating that. Can’t wait to see the new area. I’m working hard on making my main toon lvl 80 for the release of the new area, @ lvl 70 right now, 10 more to go…
Pretty sure the zone upscales you to 80.

I don’t think you should be making such a huge deal out of it. Besides, it’s always possible that next Halloween event won’t be the same as this one (this event seemed to introduce the mad king to this game for first time – at least for me).
Nope, you won’t.
Neither the Master Carver nor the Clock Tower achievement is needed for the Emissary of the Mad King title.
Also, it seems they just fixed the broken doors.
That would mean ArenaNet/NCsoft would lose a huge amount of income
Not really, since gems have to be bought and traded for gold by someone first. When you buy Gems (or sell gems) the currency you get for the exchange isn’t created, it is taken from other players.
Pretty sure that you should get a reward (two legendary weapon materials and the achievement, along some stuff I forgot). Maybe it’s a bug or something.
I love it. Can’t see why someone would hate it so much to the point of avoiding the charr though…
Neither does the Ogres have proper lip-syncing. I assume all of the lesser races that appear in the Personal Story don’t have proper lip-syncing. A bit disappointing but not really game-breaking.
11:35 PM: exact same guy spamming gold selling site in Rata Sum.
I’ve seen a bot unbanned for roughly a week. Don’t expect Anet to ban a single gold seller in such a small amount of time, especially when there’s a lot of bigger issues at the moment.
Methinks Anet will deal with them once they first sort out the hacked accounts and people who are unable to log in for whatever reason, among other issues. Who knows, maybe someone in their team is already working on improving the reporting system or the anti-spamming system.
