This is a game, and it’s an event in a game, get over it
everyone so serious.
Until you get 10K Life Blasted by a Necro, 30K kill-shot by a Warrior, and 20K backstabbed by a Thief, then you’ll know why this event fails as much as it does.
You mean this isn’t fun for you?
I’ll make the following predictions:
1. Players won’t be banned for abusing it.
2. Arenanet won’t do anything to fix it.The end
This guy is correct.
I’ve reported all the players who were using this exploit in WvW. I hope anet actually does something about it and bans those players.
Lol – don’t take this the wrong way because it isn’t directed at you. But they won’t do anything at all but continue to reward them with WvW ranks, exp, and loot bags.
First sign of this and the patch / event should have been removed. Just goes to show that:
A. they don’t care
B. they are inept
C. they have no Quality Assurance
The hilarious thing about this is that the guy who coded it put in as a 100% damage modifier rather than going through each of the individual golems skills and adding 100% there.
Guess I get a week off from WvW, because my goodness is this going to suck.
The biggest thing Necros are missing is scaleable defense.
We need some type of activated short duration immunity.
Now when i use Consume Conditions then Locust Swarm for swiftness I don’t tag random enemies because of the self-blind.
Thanks ANet!
it would be horrible, no need.
Agreed.
The new heal is pretty sweet. We have a lot of ways to sustain ourselves with the new changes, and Trooper runes, some other condition removal, we’ve actually probably got more than enough that CC isn’t needed anymore, though still a great heal.
Yeah – honestly we don’t know yet though. It looks like every profession is getting buffed. We can only hope that we get buffed more than other professions.
That only think I want: nerf warrior. Please, it’s been years
During the first few months of the game we did really really well against Warriors, would be great to bring that back.
I dont get it, you wanna ban the guy named “kitten Sniffer”?
Yeah, it’s pretty terrible. Makes you want to rage quit after a while.
Playing on one of the low population servers you wonder how there are so many people on high population servers willing to sit there as troll defenders….and begs the question:
How do you kill that which has no life?
Haven’t been able to DL the patch for 2 days now, but it seems that whatever back end changes you guys made this morning has fixed the issue for me.
Thanks for the resolution.
Just curious if blind causes a miss! on siege attacks
For example, does dropping a Well of Darkness on an opposing player using a Ram do anything?
Here’s what I use:

We’re not mobile and we’re not stable.
In a game where you must be one or the other to survive spikes and trains, this sort of sucks.
Very much agreed.
As to the OP, Necromancer or Engineer for #5. Necros, because Spectral Walk lets them try again without restarting the whole puzzle. Engineers, because Jump Shot makes particular jumps easy.
QFT. Necromancer Spectral Walk is amazing, its a free do-over on a 60 sec cooldown for all jumping puzzles.
Nothing is more annoying than getting 95% of the way through and falling.
It could behave like Lighting Flash, and swap with Doom because of the cooldown.
Doom – Same effects, 15s cooldown
Dark Path – 25s cooldown
3/4 cast time
Damage: ~10 (very low, only to trigger in-combat mode)
3x Bleed (5s)
Chill (3s)
Info: 5 targets
Radius: 180
Range: 900
TeleportGround target
Unblockable removed
Just changing it BACK TO Ground target (like it was in Beta) would be enough.
lol, this is hilarious….someone messed up their bindings in IIS.
Awesome buddy, thanks it worked.
For me it wasn’t that Automatically detect settings was checked, but my internet LAN settings were using a proxy. I think this might be an issue for a lot of university students.
After the success of Dry Top, when can we expect to see the “Wet Bottom”? Perhaps an underwater instance would be appropriate for continuity?
Thoughts?
In The Queen’s Pavillion scaling has made it so that people are encouraged to NOT work together.
This seems opposite to every other design decision made in GW2 where teamwork is encouraged. Was this a conscious design decision by ANET…? Or did they just mess up?
Here’s what you do about the hacking.
1) Report them for botting, because… you cannot report someone for hacking.
2) Fill out a detailed report.
3) Realize it makes no difference whatsoever as arenanet does not do anything about hacking, botting or exploiting
4) Buy icecream
5) Eat icecreamAnd thats about the best way to deal with cheaters in GW2.
QFT.
With love,
NSP
To emphasise how bad its got its pretty much peaktime in the EU, a handful of us left playing take a camp in EB nearest our wp, set up a ram, go to resup and theres already a zerg there waiting on the camp timer and then wipe out the tower attack. It’s crappy for us but it cant be much fun for the dominating server who are just feeding off scraps after the initial reset day frenzy.
Wow…and I thought we had it bad.
Here’s an idea:
Limit each map to plus or minus 20 players on each side. There, problem solved. High pop servers have to queue and it’s a fair match up regardless.
everyone so serious.
