The whole point is that doing this essentially robs those of us who used to play WvW avidly but no longer do so. I’m rank 141 in WvW, but that means NOTHING as far as anet is concerned when it comes to getting a legendary.

Your wvw rank is NOT supposed to have anything to do with badges.

Also, rank 141 is barely any play time.

I just finished the reward track. Took about 4-5 hours. Woulda been shorter with 100% participation the whole time (which is easy to do).

It takes several times longer to finish map completion which wvw players are forced to do. Stop complaining…

World completion is actually fun and you get to explore the world. WvW is just zerg around its a snooze fest. Again instead of trying to force players into the wvw maps improve the game play they attempted with the new WvW map with HoT release and they failed so they scrapped the new maps. Their attempts to make WvW fun so far has failed so all that is left to do is force players to participate.

Not real on board with this change, it has essentially time gated a portion of the legendary now.

Before the patch if I had a precursor drop I could check my bank, make a gift of fortune, hop into WvW get my gift of battle, throw it in the forge with my gifts of exploration etc and do the other stuff in a day or two. Time to make a legendary isn’t too long if you already had the gifts of exploration (to which you get 2 per completion).

Now after the patch it takes several hours to get a gift of battle that I could have bought with my 2.5k badges while also preventing my progress on getting other reward tracks.

Before you ask why my badges are only 2.5k, I made a load of golems, siege and grabbed badges of tribute for my guild to make upgrades. I’m gold rank so not exactly jumping into WvW because I have to either.

This is a bad change, had I even known about this I would have bought 2 for the 2 precursors sitting in my bank and made the gifts of mastery.

Yeah, and just wait until players need 6 GoB for legendary armors…

I’m sitting on 25k badges now just waiting and this will bother me to no end if I have to grind the track over and over and over and over and over and over… Especially if we get bunk linkings and poor match ups.

nah you just have to dedicate 48 hours to WvW just max out the participation and do small events and afk. It would be a nice one up to the WvWers when people just occupy the maps and do nothing.

lol how about Anet fix the underline problem with WvW zerg fest before they force their players to play it. Its a superficial way of “improving” numbers in a game type that is boring and not fun to play.

I am stuck not being able to join the ranked match que I have only been dishonored for not readying up once or twice and have never left a match usually solo que. Please fix this issue. I have been kicked for being inactive in the Winters Day (toy apocalypse ) event which I hope does not get counted towards the dishonor system.

Getting an error after trying to patch on the 32bit client tried repairing the client but the repair also provides this error any fixes?

there really is no grind to getting the precursor its actually pretty fun if u just play the game like I did for the past year you would have enough materials to instantly craft ur precursor and the legendary

or just learn to watch animations I am running full zerker and I manage to kill stuff

Only because we have two player bases new players and the veterans. Vets dont want to waste time with the new players. It is totally understandable that the new players want to experiment with the game but I think they should just band together and play the game the way they want to.

People use this exploit a lot to farm dungeons in one go please fix this issue as I for one do not enjoy having idiots wanting to exploit a bug in a run. This is done by getting deetha to rev at some point during the run in p3

you can change the stats of legendary weapons anytime your outside of combat that is what makes it unique so yes its worth crafting

When you use icebow and lightning hammer on guardians the stacks go down for each hit on skill 4 of icebow and 4 of lightning hammer.

if u are standing in the wurm during a burn phase u usually spam f to try pick up icebows and hammers to increase ur dps if the person places the food in that stack u would land up eating the food and overwriting the proper food. And the community organizing the event would notice the name of the person and report him.

One time is fine no one would really care if it was accidental but if you place it 10 times over the event area thats the time its intentional and when we report for trolling we can at least prove it with the screen shot. I did not mention bubble heads being the issue its food that is primarily my issue here commanders use their own gold to get the proper food for individuals and a troll comes and places it over the event to overwrite it. Thats like spitting on the commanders face. Its annoying and people should be identified for trolling in that manner

A really flawed part of the system that leads to trolls abusing the fact no one can tell who is placing these items. It has become annoying having community organised events like triple trouble be trolled by individuals that place troll items in the wurm or around the event area all because they can stay anonymous. All they are doing is hindering individuals who want to succeed at events.

Could you provide proof to this reasoning cause I have never heard `anet say anything about that limitation just cause one class gets a staff doesnt mean the other class cant get it.

To all the people complaining about trying to find a good map, how about you join one of the guilds/communities that do the events there are a lot of them out there that use TS to organise the events its not hard to just listen for organisation of maps.

And when I browse through the parties on lfg most of them are from US servers so again this bug is starting to get on my nerves cause I try relogin and switching characters but it stays.

When I post to LFG with some of my characters or go onto it it will show US servesr when my home server is EU starting to get annoyed with this bug

I would really like to have this as a station tonic that we can place at events :P would be nice for fun organised community runs. Can’t wait to do tt tonight.

some advice on playing an elemental learn how to stack might using the combo fire field and blasts s/d is always good to use or s/f if you want some survivability skills. the game isn’t hard the story missions are all easy u just have to learn how to play the class I use to solo champions with my elemental its all about knowing how to use the class

Depends on what though, in pvp my vote is guardians as they’re the easiest to counter due to their lack of options on damage oriented weapons being limited to only the greatsword.

pve instances, necro they provide nothing but low damage.

solo content, ele but thats me they take 3 times the work as every other class

world bosses, thieves they die so fast and have no real ranged option.

lol your gear sucks for PvP? really cause gear has no play in pvp its more of build and skill There are other collectables in game that you can try work towards the new armour set in silver waste or the exotic hunter etc. there are lotsa collections other than the minis and fashion.

Maybe because race directly affects Personal Story, unlike all of the things you can change? There’s a reason it’s been suggested so many times and never considered by the devs, and that is because it’s just not feasible.

Just reset the Personal story… its not that hard to do.

Just farm gold and buy gems to unlock the chapters you want and if you want to play the story ask a friend to create an instance for you so you can do it. I for one don’t want S2 to be bundled with a deluxe or collectors edition of the game that would be stupid it wouldn’t be worth the extra cash I would spend for the deluxe or collectors.

You can obtain EVERY single item via gold. its not having overpowerd eq like in f2ps, but you still have advantage if You earn a lot IRL. If You earn a lot IRL you’re a boss IRL. Same with games. why RL money should make You a boss in a game? Does game currency make You a boss IRL?
P.S. I work, study and still have time to play enough and dont spend RL money on game

Firstly the price is actually fine its account bound as apposed to the past where you had to stick with one toon with the tag unlocked or buy another for your other wvw toons. Secondly I am sure there are people who have the tag but dont want to tag up for reasons being they dont know how to command or dont feel like commanding a zerg. Anyways the price at 200 gold is nothing if you really want to command its an investment you can make
