Has it been stated where we will be capping the new guild hall from in terms of the map location?

I know it says Players must own Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns to claim and fully upgrade their guild hall.

Does anyone know?

Are the weapon and backpack containers for the 5th year anniversary meant to be once per account or per each character turning 5?

After the new build of 11-21 I noticed that the guild (hall) buff has been removed from all of my characters; specifically the guild gathering boost.

This happened with the 10-19 build also.

Please……….fix it.

Can this please get fixed.

Carebear and Soochen say yes you’ll be fine but then Carebear says the GPU is good but the motherboard to keep up with loading you’ll need more than 16gb of RAM and an SSD for quicker loading. He said it’ll slow down the GPU acting like a bottleneck. He also said if you’re trying to run in zergs like wvw or world bosses you may be laggy.

Haven’t been able to log in for well over an hour now.

It’s not just you. Guild portal will not work for me and I am on windows.

On 2 of 3 characters I have the maps open that I did prior to the new build at reset on 11/4/15; however, the other character has no waypoints in HoT. She does still have the story indicator in the proper location.

I don’t see the OP as wanting a fully unlocked guild hall immediately or wanting instant gratification. What I see is them saying the requirements for some upgrades are excessive.

Although I haven’t resorted to being a beggar (yet), as a guild leader I do agree with what you’re saying!

My guild roster has 300 players but the reality is that we have about 40-50 active players. As far as I’m concerned, what is being asked in terms of the materials is extraordinarily excessive. Not only do they want standard farmable mats, they also want players to give up their LUCK & PvP Reward Potions. IMO that is just plain ridiculous!

With HoT having been out 2 weeks now, I have explored little of the new maps. My time so far has been spent trying to figure out guild upgrades and finding that things we had such as 24/7 magic find is a thing of the past.

My guild has been fortunate thus far that we have very generous members who are willing to give; however, I do know some are already feeling the pinch because giving their mats means them not having the gold to buy armor and weapons for their revanants. This shouldn’t be the case. People should be able to play and farm and not feel they are being bled dry by the needs of the guild.

I also agree that guildies aren’t getting much for what they are being asked to give. We were able to upgrade our hall and we got a 3% xp boost. We have gone on to get the karma booster as well only to learn that a player cannot have both boosts, only one. For me that has completely put me off grinding for that type of upgrade seeing you only get one.

Another problem I see is favor. There’s a limit on how much favor you can have which far exceeds the amount of favor you can realistically earn in a week’s time. With influence it was something that was constantly being earned through normal play. This needs to also be the case with favor, we need a way to earn it on a continuous basis through normal game play.

Bottom line, they need to revisit what they are asking us to do to upgrade guild halls. Not all of us want to be a part of mega-guilds and right now that seems like what they are driving us toward.

EDIT: I thought of something else that would extremely helpful in regard to upgrades and materials.

Rather than the guild treasurer asking for all materials for all potential upgrades, we should be able to some how queue the upgrade we are working toward so that guildies know what is needed for the next goal instead of giving items to the treasurer that we may never use and that they can’t get back.

I would like to know about “bank guilds”. Many of us have a personal guild for extra storage and have also upgraded it. My bank guild has all 3 storage spaces. What will happen to these? Will our items remain intact and will we be able to access them?

Sure would be nice if someone from Anet would address this.

They always say ’we’re aware of the problem and are working to fix it’. A likely story!

We have no guild upgrades running now and are unable to build any upgrades!!

This goes along with the issue that we have to trick the system into recognizing that we are even in a guild to begin with.

(Thankfully) our guild bank is intact at this time along with our influence.

For the love of Mike people, get on the stick. Have you devs get ON THE GAME and see the problems for themselves, how hard is that.

I remember when we messed around for months with you trying to figure out the wall problem at Jormag and you saying “we can’t duplicate the problem on our test servers”. NO KIDDING.

This better not be the same! You need to roll back this patch and fix all of these problems and then release the patch again.

Same here, there is only one guild upgrade building rather than two.

Well now I know I wasn’t being trolled by my friend who knows I have no plant love.

Was told that it was mentioned by Collin that it would be a good idea to have a Sylvari for when the expansion comes out.

I am the guild leader of [RAWR] on Tarnished Coast and I cannot access our guild bank. I also cannot access my personal bank.

All items are greyed out with the red ! as others reported.

This game is nothing but a grind and has been from day 1!

Anet needs to learn that the tighter you squeeze your fist, more things will slip through your fingers.

There is always so much chat in game about people wanting Cantha brought back to the game and I honestly have to say I don’t understand why.

In my opinion, in Guild Wars, the Canthan humans you could create were the least physically attractive in terms of their features which seemed to be over exaggerated. Of course this is personal taste as with everything in the game world.

Additionally, I did not care for the map areas of Cantha, especially the more urban type areas where one could get lost for hours and never make any progress except for going in circles and becoming really aggravated while doing so. I not so affectionately referred to these areas as the rooftops and it seemed I was forever lost in the rooftops not making any progress.

Guess I don’t personally see the attachment players have to Cantha.

I think that any method by which they allow for saving builds would be great. Would be my hope that they don’t find a way to charge for the ability to do so. Having any easy way to swap build and armor together would be great even if it were something on the order of a repair canister type item.

I think something such as this would be very useful in PvE, especially for fractals and dungeons.

Is there any plan that guild upgrades will be available to guildies from other servers?

To me, this should have gone along with the mega-server roll out; however, that is not the case.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I am so happy you have gone to the megaserver system!

It is so nice to have players out in the world everywhere I go!

The date this started for me was January 18, 2014 and has gotten continually worse since. Because I have even gone so far as to uninstall the game client, re-download, and ininstall; I can only presume this is an issue at anet’s end and further presume it will never get fixed as this seems to be the way things go with them.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it only to experience the same blinking issue.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Every time I attempt to log in, I get this screen at least 5 times before I am able to log in. Yes, I mean E V E R Y time I attempt to log in, EVERY. Needless to say I am beyond frustrated with this.

Today I performed the repair function of my game client in hopes of it resolving the issue. Needless to say, it did not.

The irony of my log in issue is that my husband also plays and he is able to log in on his computer without issue, yet EVERY time (did I mention it’s EVERY single blooming time) I try to log in, I am getting this.

I should add that I have also tried turning off my fire wall and that has made no difference.

YES PLEASE!! Would love to see a race change pack in the gem store. As said, it really doesn’t affect anyone but the individual.

The PARTY GLITCH still persists yet there’s been no fix in all the time.

Hopefully by now Anet knows about the party list glitch where you can’t see everyone in the party.

Today when I logged on I couldn’t see everyone who is online in my guild roster AND it was the same on the friend’s list. I had people who were chatting in guild chat who were not showing as online and getting whispers from people I didn’t know were online.

I had to relog to fix the issue.

I’m sure this cannot be just me, it’s just a further erosion of the party list glitch.

Yes I did, that is what I mean by only being able to see the recaps from the NPCs nearby. I watched them both. I have also watched the recaps multiple times to no avail.

In an attempt to get a resolution to this bug, I filed an in game bug report while at Jormag. Maybe more of you who are experiencing this should do the same.

Clearly, posting to the forum is worthless.

Another day where they have updated for “bug fixes” and STILL Jormag isn’t fixed and Anet cannot manage to reply to this thread. This has gotten old.

Are you talking about the corrupted ice wall at Jormag being obstructed? They apparently don’t want to address that!

That is what people are saying but no one seems to know for sure and it wasn’t in any update notes either.

Server: Tarnished Coast

Since the December 14 update, the Jormag phase 1 Corrupted Ice Shield seems to be buried or half buried thus making the charrzookas particularly ineffective.

At this point, it is taking at least half an hour to complete phase 1 due to this bug/change. Additionally, though we are fighting many more groups of Icebrood and taking down many more Ice Shards, there are virtually no drops from doing so.

Anet—please advise if this really is a bug or an intended change.

Ok Anet, you NEEEEEDDDD to do something about all these bots running riot in HoD!! We players can only report so much before we realize you are not addressing the problem.

In any high end zone within the HoD server I play, there are about 10 ranger bots/pets running around.

The latest is that the bots now have guild tags. If this is an attempt to avoid the ban hammer—it seems it’s working.

There is discussion within my guild about moving servers—much of which has to do with all the BOTS.

I’m sure that I am not the only one who is sick to death of reporting bots and nothing being done but maybe I am the only one brave enough to come here and say so.

Bottom line: Anet, FIX THE BOT PROBLEM!!!!

I’ll say my piece and add up front that I don’t care who reads it or who dislikes what I have to say.

These “game bugs” are more than frustrating, they’re disgusting!

What I find to be completely ironic is that the the gem store has hardly been “under maintenance”. I’ve said it in game chat and I’ll say it here—Anet’s FIRST priority seems to be their cash-line and getting people to buy gems. They can squawk all they want about how they care about the game (we shut down sales to preserve the game experience) but as the old saying goes actions speak louder than words and their lack of action is speaking volumes.

Anet seems pretty content to leave the broken things broken as long as the gem store and other real world money items work.

All of us playing have already paid for the game and are being let down by the inaction and lack of bug fixes.

If Anet wants our continued business and support of their products, they would get off their butts and fix the things that have been broken for weeks!
