Just give us the ele trait that lets us keep our passives while signets are on CD.

I think this would be an excellent change. I run all signets because the utility’s are pretty bad and the warrior needs as many buffs as he can to compensate. I never activate my signets because of losing the passives so being able to while keeping the buffs would add more versatility to my play.
As a Mesmer, every time I get MOA’d myself by another Mesmer I’m like ‘oh fun! This is what those buttons do?’ Push 5 then wait for MOA to end before killing the Mesmer.
Pretty much spot on as any Mesmer I have fought using moa in WvW is a noob.
Once I got moa’d twice in a row fighting a group of 4 that had 2 mesmers in it. That’s the only time I have ever died by Moa.
Holding 2 players off is one thing but being able to kill them as well is a different story.
Other classes do it sooooo much better.Warrior vs 2 rangers – yeah id like to see that fight!
And, exactly, which profession is capable to HOLD AND KILL two professions at the same time all by himself? I think none (obviously excluding the case that both the enemies’ you are facing are bad as hell).
Full berserker Mesmer can take 2 enemies down and survive longer than a warrior.

This isn’t true.
A warrior with soldier amulet is capable to hold on 2 people easily, obviously with the right selection of traits. 30 points in defense and Mace+Shield is capable to give quite a good survivability in groups

Looking at the skills the thief used you obviously just stood there and did nothing. You deserved it.

Warrior is far from under-powered. They are just too easy to kill.
I think the warrior needs a regen buff and he would be more on par with the survivability of all the other classes.
The only ever reason why you would equip Healing Signet is for the signet trait +40 precision. But you also must use both Omniberry Ghost food (steal HP on crit) and Sigil of blood (steal HP on crit).
Otherwise its completely useless by itself. Defo needs a buff!
With condition spec your staff clones are a good source of damage. So break line of sight, even get out of range and let your staff clones beat on him. Decoy when you need to sneak up on him and chaos armour yourself and him.
If your using sword as other set then don’t be afraid to waste a frenzy for the invulnarability even when he’s stood at range. Torch is a great offhand for sneaking up and getting burn on him too.
I have never had issues with this, and I have played 2,100+ pvp games on mes. The only time this happens is when I lose a target (it dies or goes invis) which in that case it auto targets and my clone attacks the target that auto target chose.. Maybe it would help if you actually clicked the thing you wanted to attack rather than thinking your clones will read your mind
The reason you haven’t had an issue with this is because we are talking about WvW not spvp.
Go stand in WvW near some yellow or white harmless npc mobs and watch your dodge roll clones attack them instead of the invader you have targeted at ranged distance.

This seem to be happening only when joining to Green map (Jade Sea) – I can join blue and red + eb without an issue but joininig to green one causes instant crash
Exactly same for me, crashes after few minutes on the green borderlands (Fort ranok for me) but I can play other borderlands and pve just fine. Just started happening since yesterday.
Class Description.
Classes that are good at Enduring Punishment by List:
- Ranger. (Evade Spam/Mobility/Protection/Vigor/High Regeneration/Takes considerably less damage when almost dead.)
- Guardian. (Constant Protection/Vigor/High Regeneration.)
- Elementalist. (Constant Protection/Vigor/Regeneration.)
- Engineer. (Constant Protection/Vigor/Regeneration.)
- Mesmer. (Evades/Invuln Spam/Blinks.)
- Thief. (Evade Spam/Stealth Spam/Teleports.)
- Necromancer. (Bad Traits, Life-force doesn’t trait well with other skills.)
- Warrior. (No protection/Poor Condition Removal/Bad Traits.)
As a non-warrior my list of classes that I can kill the quickest are:
1) Warrior
2) Ranger
3) Thief
4) Mesmer
5) Engineer
6) Necro
7 Guardian
8) Elementalist
So I agree with you on warriors from a non-warrior point of view.

I agree so annoying when you end up running around picking up bags. I’ve stopped running back for some bags now, getting too tedious.
I don’t play warrior but I kill them faster than any other class in a 1 v 1. Something is seriously wrong with warrior. I think they need more base health or something.
A simple tick box for ‘Usable by my class’ is all we need. This then works for armour and weapons etc.
Cannot understand why something so obvious isn’t already in game.
If they don’t fix it then Arenanet are just leaving it half-baked!
It isn’t fine that clones aggro npcs yet ranger/necro pets don’t!
It should get fixed/changed!
A map rotation would be awesome!
Phantasm builds are the easiest build to play and they aren’t the strongest. I don’t play one so when I see a Mesmer using it I know its going be a win for me.
You need to learn how to play, seriously!
I am a Mesmer and yes 99% I will down all my opponents, I even kill those phantasms builds(they aren’t strong at all).
So am I overpowered? NO… the players I mostly kill are all skill-less or have bad gear.
How do I know this?
Because I have duelled the rare skilled players too and I cannot beat them and they cannot beat me. So pretty even matched don’t you think?
So you cant create a clone on dodge unless you have a target which is ok.
The problem is clones created do not attack my target, they attack the nearest target, this includes attacking ambient creatures which die in 1 hit, so the clone disappears straight away. This is so annoying in WvW when fighting an invader.
Please Arenanet, this really needs to be added.
When the dolyak is upgraded with Escort guards, make the dolyak immune to damage until both escorts have been killed.
This stop players too easily soloing and killing the dolyak while ignoring the guards until they disappear when dolyak is killed.
They should make the yak immune similar to the determined buff until the guards are killed.

One purpose in upgrading is increasing the max supply.
Even though I agree, my post clearly isn’t about supply. It’s clearly about how camps are too easy to capture when the camp is fully upgraded.
If camps were all about upgrading for extra supply then why bother with extra guards? They don’t do anything!
Major problem with camps is that all the upgrades are worthless as its still too easy for 2+ players to take it!
Here’s why…
1) Fully upgraded camp :- camp can still be taken by 2 players pretty easily. A group of 5 can take the camp nearly as fast as a Zerg.
So what is the purpose of fully upgrading a camp? It doesn’t add any added protection!
2) Dolyak escorts :- can still be killed quickly by 1 person, just ignore the guards and kill Dolyak then guards disappear.
So what’s the point of escorts? Escorts don’t add any protection!
Recommended improvements to make upgrades actually worth it…
1) fully upgraded camp – increase number of guards.
2) Dolyak escorts – upgrade gives double Dolyak HP. When Dolyak is killed the guards run back to the camp to wait for new Dolyak to respawn. (This helps protect the camp and stops players killing the dolyak just to get rid of guards)
As a condition Mesmer (I still am)….
Before the nerf, I had 30 points in Illusions and I was destroying everyone including other mesmers.
After the nerf I still beat everyone as a condition Mesmer but I had to re-trait so now I don’t have any points in illusions.
The illusion tree isn’t viable anymore if you spec condition because so many traits minor/major are based on confusion.
So Arenanet need to fix the illusion tree, not bring confusion back up!
Decent players do tournaments now. I only use hotjoin to get a feel of a new build.
Add a GvGvG map (EB map) where only guilds with 100+ players can sign up. Works exactly the same as WvWvW but more focused on guild rewards and a guild ranking ladder to be proud of.
WvWvW will then be less busy, less zergs so the smaller guilds and rest of us can enjoy wvw more without getting steamrolled all the time.
Game needs a duelling option, which you can turn on/off, since open world pvp is non existent apart from skill-less zergs
In WvW, it is currently pointless upgrading camps to give dolyak guards as escort because 1 player can too easily kill the dolyak while ignoring the guards and then the guards just disappear.
For it to be worth purchasing this upgrade the dolyak should be given double health when upgraded.
Being able to choose to shatter only our clones or phantasms would give us more to think about tactically and would be a welcome change.
NO… not talking about GW2 because it doesn’t exist! Arenanet totally failed there!
Sometimes I get a rare 1 vs 1 or even a 1 vs 3 but a zerg jumps in and spoils everything.
I enjoy upgrading camps preparing to defend against a small group but a zerg turns up and steam rolls me.
Guess ill just keep logging in just to do my daily until something better comes along.
Sometimes I prefer to run without any food or signets to look same as clones but then I enter a wvw area which gives me that kitten annoying outmanned buff, so defeats the purpose!! Argh!
Just add some toughness and rangers are the easiest class to kill.
Rune of Earth I believe. He reflected your scepter attack that creates a clone and because he reflected it he created a clone of himself.

This is bugging me….
I was fighting a thief in WvW as a Mesmer and as I downed him a thief clone appeared( must have been Ambush trap) but he was firing bolt at me, looks same as what I was firing on my scepter, ether bolt.
Is there a simple explanation why the clone is firing bolt instead of using knives?
And no it wasn’t a Mesmer I was fighting. I do have a video showing this but if its a simple explanation then no point uploading it.
Yeah, and the minor traits are all about shattering. As a condition mesmer you don’t want to be shattering unless your shattering for the extra confusion (which is kinda pointless now with the nerf)
*I do this because I have have been a massive fan of Open World PvP and this is the closest we can get.

I solo roam on my Mesmer as I enjoy the skill required taking on small groups. Zergs are boring as theres no skill in it.
Make it so that Mantra recharges 1 charge per 20 seconds. I often find myself on only 1x stack of Mantra left so I have to use it and wait for it to cool down to reapply to 3x stacks. Very inefficient.
Thats looks a good idea and I may even give mantras a try then. Until then Ill stick with the superior builds.
The tooltip says confuse the target but think that is just because it drops a clone (ie confuse the player, not confusion damage)
The clone is useless because your using a ranged weapon yet the clone drops next to the target. That wouldnt confuse anyone!
Get rid of the clone on skill #1 and add 1x confusion stack to the 2nd/3rd chain instead.

Speed up the channelling on skill #3
The sword is far superior in defence(invulnarability) and attack(imobilize/frenzy)
I created an engineer last couple days to try out in spvp and I immediatly saw big problems with using turrets that it seemed pointless even to bother using any.
Found myself running to a new area realising I can’t put a turret down cause I left one up at the other capture point. Now i had to wait10 secs after detonating it.
Next I tried the pick up turret option and couldn’t believe I also had a10 sec cooldown. well thats kinda pointless!
I think turrets should just auto detonate when you go out of range, like how mesmer clones disappear. And I dont think there should be a CD when picking up a turret! Isnt that the whole point of having a pickup option.
What I’m not clear about is whether those clones will be overwritten if I generate new clones in that window between when the shatter was issued and when the clones actually reach their target and trigger the shatter animation.
I was going to say if you generate new clones just after shattering before they have shattered you will have additional clones on screen before the others have shattered. I’ve seen 6 clones on screen in a fight when I shattered then used Decoy and Mirror Images.
Now I just tested this in HOTM and it seems the above works as I said but sometimes it doesnt and you dont get any new clones. A bug or maybe its the timing of using decoy/mirror images/dodging too early?
I also noticed that if you dodge to generate new clones, the clone takes the closest target, not your current target. That must be the reason why my shatter sometimes runs to a npc I have never targetted and not my player target in WvW.
Bought 5x Drinks for the City (2g each) and only received 1000 influence instead of 5000. So then bought the cheapest one (to test) to get 10 influence and didnt get that either.
Getting sick of losing hard earned gold in this game now due to bugs! And do I ever get it back?? NO!!
Still lots of bugs from beta not fixed yet Arenanet prefer to continue to priortise adding rubbish content instead.
Actually it works just fine, there is this little problem with procs on sigils/runes – let’s say you have Rune of Air and you go stealth – if you get hit by some AoE and proc Lightning Strike on attacker – it counts as attack and you are revealed then. I guess it works like that with all similar procs.
Other than that I did not observe any issues.
Revealed?? I didnt even go stealth, I just did the animation and nothing happened.
Dont say its works when it clearly doesnt otherwise nothing gets fixed. Probably the reason why we still have obvious bugs from beta still in the game.
Haha i just beat like 5 people in a row without dying. They all said that clones are too confusing .
Congrats on beating 5 noobs! Not being able to tell which is the real mesmer says it all!
Seriously. using an elite skill Mass Invisibility which sometimes fails to stealth you for whatever reason is just a broken mechanic. Same for decoy!
When are you going to fix this problem?? I understand its something to do with you damaging the opponent, maybe its even confusion on him that stops it i dont really know but its nothing to do with already having used a stealth skill. It’s simply a mechanic that clearly doesnt work!
OP is correct! A full condition engineer can kill you faster than a thief. And thats post confusion nerf.
Scepter is usless as a ranged weapon because when you spec condition you dont spec power so the number 1 skill is pityful damage.
Changing number 2 skill is pointless as you still may aswell carry the sword for blurred frenzy.
IMO only way to buff scepter is add condition to the 1 skill since only conditon builds would choose to carry a scepter.
