IIRC the last BG/SoR/JQ matchup before Season 1 began, JQ came first with a 15k PPT lead from SoR who was second. But of course you guys weren’t even trying that hard right?

JQ came first with a 14k lead, which was 8k before it became obvious the clock had run out. JQ has lost a couple of high profile guilds since then.

I would say the same thing to the JQ chest thumpers and the SOR chest thumpers that think we will stomp BG; You are setting yourselves up to be immortalized like the 3rd post of our 9/27 matchup:

I still think 2v1 ruins the game but I have to comment on BG and SOR actually pulling one on JQ.

You JQ martyrs are funny, there was only one formal 2v1 this week and it wasn’t against JQ.

I’m sure JQ thinks there is a 2v1 against them right now but look at the map:

JQBL: 2v1 against SOR
BGBL: Standard border everyone has their corners but BG only owned their garrison a little while ago.
SORBL: Was 2v1 against JQ Hills, not sure since
EB: Was a nasty 2v1 against JQ but back to standard map

When you see the same behaviour across all maps you know something is up.

The first several days of the beginning of the match BG and SoR EU focused JQ and not one another. Not much of a secret. Also why this match is turning out the way that it is.

I spent most of my time defending SOR garri the first few days at one point owning nothing on our home map. That was a hardcore 2v1 but if JQ and BG met they would fight not the kitten fighting we are seeing now.

Personally with the 2v1 and BG’s dependence on night capping I hope JQ wins the week but I expect they will get 2nd at least.

Honestly, there is no such thing as honor when it comes to WvW because the best way to take things is to stab somebody in the back or kick them when they are down. The only time I will ever mention great fights or “honor” is when we get some good open field fights of the same size. Keep fights are never going to fall into that domain

I’m not complaining about the 2v1. It may be a kitten way to fight but there are plenty of kittens out there.

My complaint is if you 2v1 don’t then pretend you are not a kitten and start spouting off about the great fights and how great and honorable everyone is. Its the same reaction I have to people ganking solos that get caught by a zerg and then /sit or /laugh. Congratulations, really….

See there you are wrong. SOR wasn’t 2v1. JQ was 2v1 on JQBL and SOR was 2v1 on SORBL.

What you see now is a formal 2v1. I have no problem with it, if you want to fight that way so be it but don’t pretend you are having great fights. You are winning a 2v1 fight with all the honor afforded such a fight so just lower your gaze and be quiet about it.

Looking at the map it seems everyone is getting 2v1 tonight.

JQ complaining of a 2v1 when SOR owned nothing on SORBL for quite some time yesterday. That doesn’t happen without a 2v1.

SORBL and JQBL were mirror images for a while, BG was the only beneficiary and compliments to them if it was orchestrated.

Well my necro is lvl 62 and I have done my 1st gw2 dungeon run ever (this is my 6th character), 19 pages in our thread and SOR PvF wasn’t driving it. What a weird week.

THIS match-up is not a good definition of the quality of any server. On SOR’s side you are going to have a large number of up-levels, new commanders and hardcore WvW’ers taking a break. Both SBI and SOS are going to lose fair-weathers and have morale issues with the ppt focused players.

SBI’s EB corner left for WvW map completion on my new lil necro…just sayin.

I’m pve’ing (lvl 32 :P) but I’m sure we would welcome a 2v1. Get all your guilds on board and spam your map chats.

Someone asked earlier in the thread if formal 2v1s ever worked. I didn’t bother responding at the time but T1 has seen plenty of hardcore 2v1s, a few of which ran almost the entire match.

Good luck, if you pull it off you may catch us napping.

To those complaining about blobs just try to have fun this week and accept you may see more goofing around than serious play (e.g. T3 structures with no siege or scouts is not normal).

Personally, I’ve levelled an asura necro to 20 so far (in pve, I hate up-levels in WvW).

Yup before i logged JQ and SoR had hit BG heavy on all maps we were down to 4 camps across all maps and 1 tower and 1 keep. So yup clear there was a truce since both servers hit BG at the same time on all maps. Normally JQ still lose out when they did passed truces with SoR, this time it was SoR that lost out and slipped to 3rd.

Your posts are really out there.

Even your 2nd/3rd place thing is funny, weekday coverage usually decides our match-ups and the difference between 1st and 3rd is a few k.

I wouldn’t be so quick to judge BG based on this performance. They could just be tired, SOR had a similar week after our 5 wins in a row:

- slacked off all weekend and let BG build a lead
- pushed kitten Monday to cut the lead
- BG pushed back and increased the lead
- SOR took the rest of the week off and rested

The outage was a gift to BG, I expected you to come out with a strong push last night but I suspect someone figured 30k was too much\not worth the overtime required to overcome.

- SOR slowly but steadily build up a 25k lead over the weekend.
- BG pushed late PST thru SEA on Monday and cut the lead to 16k
- SOR pushed EU and EST and recovered what was lost by BG’s push
- BG basically folded at this point

When WvW went down SOR had increased it’s lead to ~30k and we were entering our primetime, we were ticking 460. The lead is 5-10k less now due to the outage.

PS. We were the only ones that lost T3 keeps on reset we had made paper just about everything else.

To the people dissing JQ in general please just stop lol. This is a game of coverage there is no hiding that. Guilds will come and go to what they think is best for them. I understand people may be upset but a guilds decision is not yours. Not whats between Tarkus and BG is between them no outsiders business. BG you are a strong server you will rebuild and continue to fight that much we know.
