I have a fat norn warrior and every “skirt” armor is so large that it clips trough hands. Not to mention 1H weapons: I never saw ’em while sheated.
Now I’m going for WvW badge set since that’s a nice looking “pants” armor.
They’re useless and frustrating. Very long cooldowns, nearly no damage, mostly melee and 90% of abilities root you in place when using (#1 too).
As a norn warrior I basically have 5 Juggernauts. Five useless Juggernauts.

Ah, that trait that makes you take 3% less damage from some attacks sometime.
2OP: Warrior is a PvE class. He has one role in PvP – glass cannon roamer, but he’s severely outclassed by the Thief in this role. The profession just lacks PvP skills, most abilities are very numeric and weak, and are intended to increase the performance of 5 people beating on a static NPC in the math contest of white numbers vs HP pool. 70 power for everyone, little buffs, little heals, a few percent of damage mitigation, a bit quicker rez etc. Add the fact that pure mitigation means nothing in this game, it’s all about avoidance, target cancel, stealth, blind spam etc. and Warrior has nothing of the sort and you have yourself quite a pathetic class. Don’t PvP on the Warrior, unless you have a team dedicated to building themselves around your one trick of Frenzy 100b.
This. Definitely this.
I am always shocked how I perform better in pvp when I don’t use my warrior (my main and the only class I play in pve/wvw, the only class I really know).
Banners are stationary and provide a buff that someone else can provide.
If you are in a stationary environment (dungeons, hold point in pvp) and noone else is using banners nor provide regeneration banners are good.
In every other situations shouts are better since they’re more bursty and you don’t need to carry them over in the battlefield. Carrying one is bad, carrying 3 of them is a nightmare. I really hope they will rework banners in some way.
Whatever you want, but not a fury buff with average damage please.
Of course a CC would be great but maybe too powerful combined with HB.
What about a shout, granting boon to allies?
Sometimes I misclick it, and I become a sad panda
What bothers me about my fat norn size is that I have many trouble hiding in case of need (ambush at a capture point, runnig away from enemies, …). Animations aren’t a big deal.
Anyway I made a big fat norn cause I wanted to be targeted before my team mates. Then game came out and I realized warriors aren’’t so good at tanking and they better go full dps roamers with much better results.
What is most annoying to me is the 2-4 seconds self root. I hate it so much. Damage is quite fine given you invest points in condition damage.

Do you think we have any chance to see banners reworked someway?
I think banner’s are quite cool and I’d like to use them a lot, since they give unique buffs and are the only things other clases can’t directly provide: I’m a warrior, I like warrior things.
Anyway i also really hate this mechanic since they are very difficult to use and I feel very kittened to have them in the bar. If I want to use a banner I need to pick it up (and you don’t know what could happen hitting “F” sometimes…) push “2” and then put the banner down to resume any other action you were performing. This is extremely boring.
I’m not against the fact that banners are “stationary”, and you must have some troubles carrying them around: I’m ok with the fact that they’re quite good in dungeons and quite bad in wvw. What I really don’t like is “how” they’re used.
What I would suggest is to allow banner owner to “activate” banners pushing again the same button he used to plant it, the same way guardians use their spirit weapons: first click to summon, subsequent clicks to use.
In this case I consider “activating” the banner the pressure of their “2” skill while you are carrying it. So it’s fury or regeneration buff you get from banners, not the swiftness, not the rush, not the stomp.
I can understand that this system could make banners too powerful, anf if this is the case I think that a long casting time on suck abilities (1-2 seconds maybe?) on longer cooldowns and the fact that the buff is cast around the banner and not around the owner could make it quite balanced.
What do you think abount this? Good solution or s**t?
p.s.: sorry for my english
