Hello, I’m thinking of running a necromancer, but i don’t know how well they do in WvW, PvP, and PvE. Can anyone shed some light on the necromancer for me?
You might be wearing fake jewelry
I agree, I built my ranger for WvW to be solo capper/scout and it works great wherever i go with my ranger. Just be active on the chat and coordinate movement with other players or the zerg leader. people tend to run and protect the castle being zerged which gives room + sufficient time for you to take out a supply post. Even if the zerg fails to take the castle, you crippled them for a few seconds, or even minutes. It’s all about playing a good role and teamwork. Not everyone is a tanky fighter, super bomb, or sneaky assassin. All that aside, i do think rangers need some work on 1v1 fights. I usually run away when spotted.
I thought everyone was already to the agreement that rangers blows pvp.
Tengus would be amazing to play. Fell in love with them since Cantha involved many of them in quest.
thank you. i shall be moving there.
I would love to play as a Tengu.
it also stops people from getting scammed as much also.
Cost of teleportation= 12 silver, Cost of buying= 8 silver, Cost of Supplies= 40, Hit Points of WP= Same as Cannon, Contested= Any Enemy in a certain radius, Set Restrictions= No underwater, No ledges, No Cliff sides, Cannot be deployed while in combat or with enemies around. See? not too hard to get those general ideas out. With this i would like it a little bit more, expensive, hard to get off, but used correctly can play a good role, but my vote is still no.
What title said, running through a broken wall, keep claimed before i made it pass the wall, and got trapped inside the wall. Had to WP out.
get the idea well formed, cost of teleportation, cost of buying, cost of supplies, amount of WP hitpoints, what is considered for it to be contested, and what restrictions on where it could be set, then i’ll revote, as of now, it doesn’t appeal to me.
Sandy With Chocolate Stripes and Big Purple Eyes. Really i just blame the all white color on game of thrones.
A well formed group with set waypoints would decimate a map fairly quickly, if this was to be implemented.
No on this. It is easy to obtain extra skill points and this idea would make the game less fun for new players. If you want quick level without exploring, do crafting, should be easy enough to obtain around 40 gold if you are maxed level and bored with your character.
Land Usable POLEARMS.
I vote no on this. It’s like everyone can portal.
As much as I would like to ride a mount, I don’t think it’ll work. Mounted Battles wouldn’t work well at all. If your argument is that you want mounts for faster movement, there’s already waypoints. Personally I think mounts would just look unnatural and clunky in the game.
- Swords: Many Different Types, Rapiers, Longswords, Scimitars, Etc. All of them each in their own “Sword Type” class and offering unique skills to the table.
- Bows: Composite, Horned, the many bow types of Guildwars, same as Swords, each bringing in unique skills. Crossbow addition would be pretty nifty.
- Axes: 2-Handed Axes…
- Great-Swords: “Sword Type” would do well here too. Also, Double Bladed weapons would be nice.
- Daggers: Adding in “Claws” would be nice, giving new skills to play around with.
- Spears: I would like to use pole-arms on land. Always been a fan of pole-arms.
- Maces: Add different “Mace Types” so we have more skills to play around with. (Flails and such)
- Shields: “Shield Types” for more skills to play around with also. (Greatshields, Bucklers, etc.)
Sword/Dagger, Longbow, 10 power, 30 precision, 30 pet
When I use my ranger to run solo pve, he is amazingly fun, but in group fights, boss fights, WvW, and PvP, I feel so useless. Could it be my build or is this generally a ranger problem?
