Why buy keys with gems if the drop rate in those chests is horrible. Just remove them completely and put those items in gem store pls.

Yeah, I just checked. And as I thought paysafecard is disabled in my country. Which is weird cause I bought gems with this same method before. So we can buy gems but not the expac? Anet should enable all payment options for all countries. Right now this policy makes no sense.

I have a question regarding payment for HoT.
I would like to buy the expac, however the trusted retailer in my country has nothing left in stock. So the only option for me, would be buying directly from Anet. That creates a problem though. I live in Poland, and I would like to pay by Paysafecard. So my question is just that. Can I pay for HoT with paysafecard from Poland.
I ask because I remember that when the game was on sale there were problems for ppl who wanted to buy with that method, so I need a confirmation first.

I would need a dev to answer this to be 100 % sure.

Well thats the thing. I dont know how much skill points I had on all my characters so I have no way of checking now :/
What items were changed into those bags? It could be that I mixed stuff up and those two thigs were something different.

I havent played for a bit, but I checked out my bank today and realised something. I think I’ve been ripped off. No my acc wasnt hacked.

The thing is the patch that introduced spirit shards changed all skillpoint scrolls into bags with the new currency. There would be no problem, but the thing is that my two stacks of 250 scrolls in the bank were both exchanged for ONE bag containing five spirits shards each. So for two stacks of scrolls (one full and the other almost full- thats almost 500 skill points) I received 10 spirit shards.

Now I wonder am I missing something here or was I just ripped of by the game?
I’m pretty sure anet didnt tell us to use those scrolls before the patch. So did they do it on purpose? Or did I mix something up and those bags were for something else?

Please do understand, 500 skill points should be more than 10 shards, and if it turns out that my suspicions are true, then kitten this is really unfair for all the ppl who stored their scrolls. The exchange rate is just bullkitten.

Can anyone explain? Did I mix things up or did that just really happen?

An update on this. The team is actively working towards a solution for the lag issue many of you have experienced. They have already tried a few potential fixes that did not yield the expected results and are continuing to root out potential causes.
Suffice to say, they aren’t ignoring this problem.

I am extremely kittened right now!!! So this PR bull is not really working Ms. Gaile. The problem is still here after over two months sice the first reports from the players. I see 20 pages of logs from ppl and no solution from you (as in the gw2 staff). No one had to help you guys out and post those logs, but they did because they wanted to play your buggy game. In response you STILL fixed NOTHING.

I just logged in played for 15 mins (extermely laggy), and guess what happened? I got dc again :/ Now I cannot even log in. I get to character screen and the game just kicks my kitten out. But hey new gemstore items right? kitten yeah!!! Doesnt matter that we can’t play, kitten that.

I read reddit today and it seems you are about to annouce an expansion for this game (just assumptions). If that is indeed the case then do you think ppl like me will buy it if we cant use the game at all?

Same problem here, ever since the patch before seeds of truth nothing but lag lag lag and dc. Fix the game already -,-

I can’t log in either. I type in my account name and password, click the button, and nothing. The circle just keeps on spinning endlessly. My friend has an even worse problem. His patcher completely freezes. He cant even type in his password at all.
We both live in the same town. East Europe.
This game has been very kittenty at working properly lately. The last few weeks there were huge lag problems, and now this. We cant even kittening log in. What did I pay for?!

This change is so bad it actually hurts my eyes when I look at it.
But the funny thing is, they (ANET) act like children now: “Dont hit us we did it for the new players”. LOL

Two years after release and this game is as poor as it was:

- PVP is just plain bad and under developed. There is only one game mode since launch, and they keep telling ppl that they want it to be an e sport. What a joke.

-WWW is as bad as PVP. ONE MODE. Nothing interesting is going on in there. After an hour of running in WWW I’m bored as hell. And now they want to sell commander tags for 300 g without adding any kind of functionality to them. The only thing they are adding are colors that are useless. Why is there no possibility for commanders to cammand? Why was this not added for TWO YEARS?!

-There are no new dungeons, and it seems they are not even working on adding any at all.

-No instanced raids.

- No guild content since guild misions were added, no GVG, no guild halls, guild boons are worthless. When they added guild missions I thought it was cool and that they will be expanding on that, but no they did not. They just left it for over a year and did nothing with it.

I could keep writing complaints like that but there is just no point.
SAB was the last thing that kept me in this game, and now even that is gone.
Now I just dont know what to do. Everything that I personally enjoyed was taken away.
I will probably get banned from the forum for this post but kitten it. I’m too angry to sit quiet.

I think we all expect Zhaitans comeback before we move on. Let’s be honest the way he died was just plain horrible, anti-climatic and stupid thing I have ever seen.
For an elder dragon (one of the most powerful things in the world) to die like that is just ridiculous.
I don’t want to speak for others but I certainly cannot move on until I get a proper fight with Zhaitan. And Trahearne dies :P
Until this gets done I can’t see the LS moving on anytime soon.

The thing is that in a good tv show we get many interesting characters and subplots, and they evelve pretty fast. In GW2 you are trying to do the same but those subplots are so slow that it kills the whole point. If we are waiting for months for a subplot to be resolved then I’m afraid how long it will take to resolve the main plot… years? When I say main plot I mean one dragon. The pace is just too slow. We should be getting multiple small subplots for many different characters and elaborate on them all at the same time with each new LS content.
Right now we have those characters and they just do nothing. Instead with each release we should see developement for each of them. And they all should have separate subplots to make it interesting. Right now it’s just plain boring to wait for three months to see one character from an old LS content

Most of the problems I see with LS were already mentioned by others, so I will mention something which I haven’t seen in this topic yet (didn’t read all posts unfortunately):
One of the the problems in the living story AND personal story is that the NPC’s are so kitten useless. They never help us out, or at least it feels that way. The only npc that was contributing to the fight was Rox during molten alliance dungeon. She would go around, heal our party members, get those who died up, and she fought the bosses at the same time. All the other npc’s are like zombies: they deal almost no damage, they don’t help during the fight (no buffs, no healing, nothing), and they go down almost instantly. This is ridiculous because many of them have legendary status- members of Destiny’s Edge for example, but they go down almost instantly during any kind of story or dungeon. It feels like they are liability more than help. Like they are there to watch us do all the work and take all the credit for it at the end: look Trahearne. It also annoys me that so many characters in the game just go and give us something to do for them and they just sit back and make us do all the dirty work. Why are they even there if they are not going to help?! Look at the Twilight Assault content. Caithe one of the best thieves in Tyria (also npc with legendary status) meets us at TA and then asks us for help… and disappears, not helping us at all during the whole dungeon. At the end she magically appears when all the enemies are dead and says “good job”.
That kind of thing makes me want to punch all those useless npc’s in the face, srlsly.
Who comes up with this stuff? If the npc does nothing at all don’t put it there.
Another thing is lack of rewards from those npc’s after we help them out. And when I say reward I don’t mean the useless 2 silver and 200 kama for hearts for example because this is not a reward. In rpg’s when you go on a quest and help someone you get rewarded by that npc with substantial reward (family heirloom, gold, jewels or something). In this game there is no such thing. NO matter if you do the living story, the hearts, or the dungeons, you never get anything of the sort. And that just leaves me with the feeling: why should I care? Instead of 2 silver and 200 karma or just “thanks for your help my servant” from useless npc’s there should be rewards for any kind of help we (heroes who deafeated Zhaitan and no one knows who the hell we are) offer. Those rewards should be skins, and mementos of that quest. Mementos that would go to our home instance which is totally useless right now. It’s useless. I can’t remember the last time I used that place for anything. Our home instance should reflect what we had done in the pesonal story as well as in living story and the maps. Right now there is no such thing. Lack of this is really making me question myself what was I doing all this time. So I beat molten alliance… so what? I have nothing that would show that I really did that. Npc’s most of the time don’t know who the hell I am, and they don’t give a kitten . Besides the meta achievement rewards there is really nothing that would show me that I actually did something.
One last thing regarding LS, hearts, dynamic events and personal story (because they ae all part of the living world), give us a journal of some sorts. This would really help to immerse ourselves in the story and the world, and would show us what we did. We could go to the journal and read up on what happened in the past. It would help to give us some lore as well.

Here you go man, would be nice to get an answer on this.

Obviously I am asking about farming the bosses you have to solo. Is farming them an exploit or not? I need a clear answer from a dev on this. Guess other ppl would like to know for sure as well.
For now I ain’t touching the gauntlet cause I don’t wanna get banned later on. A lot of ppl are probably the same, so please devs give us an answer.
