Quite the battle in SOR garrison tonight.

That thing was INSANE. It lasted over 1:30h, easily.

I dc’d when we first got in, went through the queue, joined back and the fight was still going on and kept going for a while longer.

So, I was playing WvW in JQBL tonight. We were holding off an attack from BG and SoR in our garrison. They were hitting the SW Inner gate and I was moving in to help defend.

As I was walking over the bridge I died, instantly. From full HP to full downed in less than an eye blink.

Stunned by this, I didn’t use the WP instantly, I just sat there trying to comprehend what happened. I think it was SoR who broke into inner and as they were rushing the lord room and stomping my dead body in the bridge, I started regaining health as if someone was healing me but there was absolutely no way someone was doing so, specially with a zerg on my face.

I took a couple of pictures of this, you can see my health going up and reviving … don’t know if they are needed but let me know if they are so I can get on my gaming pc and post them here.

Hello guys!

I’m looking to transfer to SoR, not because of it being a winning server. I’m just sick of getting steamrolled every now and then and people quitting WvW because of this.

I mostly play WvW and seeing the maps outmanned when I play is really tiring at times.

I was at HoD when the game launched and I really miss those close matches and the feel of competition and teamwork every single match. The feel that the other 2 servers are also hungry for competition and want to kill you for it with teamwork, not just complete utter carnage as is the case in SoS.

Thing is, I don’t have the gold to do it yet. I have 45g at the moment and the transfer is 75ish gold. If there’s a guild out there who is willing to chip in I’ll be forever grateful and you’ll be gaining a dedicated player.

I mostly play around 4pm (CST) to 2am-ish on weekdays and weekends. I will rep 100% in WvW but I will rep my SoS PvE guild at guild missions reset, I made some good friends there, I don’t want to lose contact.

I have a character of each class: 80 Guardian, 80 Warrior, 80 Mesmer. Currently leveling 5 others.

I ( [TS] Asura Guardian) was roaming around with some guys from KoNi attacking/defending Mendon’s, Umber and Ograth. Had some awesome small battles with some EB guys, thanks for the good times!

I’ve been on SoS for a long time, I saw the server rise to T1 and drop to whatever Tier we are in now.

I read that 4 major guilds left the server (to JQ I think). By the time I can play WvW (CST 3pm-ish)the server is pretty dead, there are times when we don’t even have a commander in EB.

I’m looking to transfer to another server that has a pretty active WvW community and a good PvE community.

Right now I’m on [TS] Shatter Inc. and I LOVE the PvE community, but not a lot of them do WvW, which is what I like to do. They do guild missions every saturday after restart and repeat them sever times along the week so that people with different time zones can get to do them. 400+ members. They’re pretty much the only thing that has held me back on transfering, but it’s reached a point where I really need a transfer.

So that’s pretty much what I’m looking for:

Active PvE community.
Good WvW coverage and that’s getting good, close fights with other servers.
Preferably a Guild that does both.
Not looking for a “winning” server, just want to have some good fun.

I don’t know if T1 servers are the right choice, I don’t know how long queue times get on restarts (I can tolerate 15/20min), so that’s something to take note of.

I won’t change immediately because I still have to save a lot of gold to afford it, but it would be nice to have a motivation do get more.

the LEET guild from SoS has two thieves that seem to be together a lot, both have an incinerator. we had some good duels so if anyone on here is friends with them, please pass the message on for them to whisper me if they want to go at it again.

I know the answer might just be common sense but everyone has a different opinion on it.

The best server for PvE NA is Tarnished Coast, lots of people guest there and its the unofficial RP server.

Well that’s where I usually go, but the last post was Jan 29th. I figured she moved on.

I did manage to find 2 things, and from what I can gather through the rumor mill, that’s all there is right now.

But now I can’t find where refugees would tend to congregate in Lion’s Arch. I talk to the event people, and they don’t mention anything about loitering refugees?

Maybe they are all on an overflow server?

Don’t know if the first are required but here’s what I’ve found so far:

First talk to a Herald
Talk to a refugee coordinator (Around middle of Hoelbrak and another at Diessa, but one does it)
He’ll mention there’s a dredge and flame legion invasion in the Wayfarer Hills and Diessa.

You must find some items in these places

A Goblet
A Toy Soldier
And people are saying a sword, but haven’t found it.
(there should be more items)

Once you found them bring them to the refugees at Lions Arch (Farshore WP beach)

And yeah, im there, looking for a supposed sword no one has been able to find…

Try guesting on Tarnished Coast, lots of people there.

One of my friends is having the same trouble. He already downloaded the client and the game tells him the code has already been used.

I don’t know if anyone else have had this problem before.

It always happens to me in WvW, at a random moment my sound goes off and the only thing I can hear is a constant “metalic” ‘WOM WOM WOM WOM’ and no matter what I do I can’t seem to fix it.

All my drivers are up to date.
