The gyro can’t be stealthed it’s always under the effect of revealed, at least it was like that during the Beta.
Go to Game Menu>General Option>Combat/Movement>Ground Targeting choose “Fast” or “Fast with range indicators” after it was made available I switched from “Fast” to “Fast with range indicators” you can see if it will land before using the skill and it’s not much slower.
Remember that if you just use the skill or “click” on the skill bar you will do it at your feet or where the Mouse cursor is at that very moment.
It was always like that, if you equip a kit and then use a skill you will have your back item and kit backpack appear “together” until you change or drop the kit.
I love to have new skins, the problem is that considering i’ll keep playing the game i’ll get to a point i’ll be forced to destroy unrecoverable old skins.
Why not make event skins like the item you get to unlock the node in your home instance?
You click it and unlock it, the Unlocked Rewards window will have all the skins you unlocked from which you get the skin you need like the Achievement Rewards.
For the T2 Heavy Chest and Legs at least for the male version is not possible to ‘stop’ the glow.
This happen with the Male Cultural T1 Medium Chest too, these parts don’t have the option to change the color of the glow ( it’s always white) so you can’t put a Dark color that allow you to ‘stop’ the glow.
Hopefully we’ll get to choose the color of the glow in future.
In the last screenshots posted, the high bloom is caused by the blind skill the other racers do against you.
In the video you need to count the damage from the old kit refinement trait( that have been nerfed) and can’t be used to tell how fast an engie can take it down now.
The color you want to change is the color of your skin not the color of the glow. To be honest in my opinion if you like the color of the armor in the screenshot you already have a good combination of colors.
If you use the Trait ‘Cleansing Ire’ like me, Longbow wins.
It’s not the only armor that hide the shoulders, others that come to mind are the Citadel of Flame medium and the Charr cultural T2 light.
Usually those sets have chests that already have built in the shoulders, if you look at the shoulders armor of those two T2 Cultural Light Sets are almost the same as those in the chest model.
The Cof medium is a different thing but the chest does have some kind of cape wrapped that take the place of the shoulders.
I don’t know if it does hide the back item but i don’t think so.
Edit: well during the time i took to write it up it was already made clear.

Most of the time if you put an helmet that would clip you will be ‘bald’, so if you put a hood the mushroom will be hidden inside it( probably not confortable but sometimes you have to suffer to look good).
After a try i can confirm that the male T1 medium chest does glow around the arms and around the chest.
For light armor my ele is a Charr so i can’t try it, but from the preview on my engie i don’t see any strong glow in any of the light ones.
Probably it will be more like the other parts of the cultural mediums that all seems to have a really soft glow( when dyed with light colors) and tend to darken less in dark areas and during the night compared to more conventional leather/cloth.
Still with light armor you have a lot of skin exposed.
well at least for the male:
*mediums the T3 does glow and yes you can choose the color of the glow usually the 2nd color
*the legs of the male t2 medium the 2nd and 3rd color do glow but a bit less than t3 pieces.
Some colors especially the lighter ones like ….. ice (like olive ice) and …… breeze( like citrus breeze) and pastel…. (like pastel violet) tend to glow more than others colors.
If you put a color too dark on you armor and preview the culltural you will not see the glow.
T1 parts and the rest of T2 do not seem to glow.
Anyway trying out pieces not cultural with cultural on and putting the same colors, the cultural pieces tend to darken less under shadow or during the night.
So it does slightly glow but a lot less than the t3 glowing parts.
Edit: i didn’t remember to tell it, but the T3 gloves do not glow like the other parts of T3

It’s mostly the Order of wisper medium armour i’m not ingame to tell you about each piece atm, but you can preview the pieces in the mist.
