So since two updates ago, I’ll go to start up my Guild Wars 2 client and it’ll log me on, let me select a character, but when I go to load the area it will crash my whole computer forcing me to restart. I only learned it was linked to “awesomium” when my computer automatically ran chkdsk upon start up. Prior to this, Guild Wars 2 ran without a hitch. I’m not sure what changed, but it’s really ridiculous that I basically can’t play a game I bought.
Chkdsk determined that files associated with “awesomium” (which is very NOT awesome) were corrupted. Here are the ones it listed: awesomium.log, AWESOM~1.log, awesomeium_process.exe, AWESOM~1.exe, AWESOM~1.dll, and awesomium.dll (the rest were other miscellaneous temp and log files).
Again, nothing wrong with my computer. This only happens when I attempt to play this game, and from what I have read online, awesomium may have something to do with the in game store? Either way, it’s awful. I’m not sure what changed two updates ago, but it is ruining my gameplay. Please…. Fix this. Whatever you did to break it, undo it. I’m not the only one who is experiencing this issue.
It’s working again. Thanks, ANet!
Tarnished Coast, same issue.
Having trouble logging back in, image below shows error 42:6:3:2158
I’m getting the same log-in issue. I restarted the client since it gave me that error selling at the black lion trading post, and then I got the log in error when trying to log back in. It was working fine until then.
I am also having the log-in error.
It sounds like you would fit in well in Existential Sprocket! We are a small close-knit guild on the Tarnished Coast server. Most of us have been together in this guild for several years (back in the first guild wars), but we are accepting new members. Although we don’t have voice services yet (we will), we do have a website located here. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, shoot me a message and I’ll be more than happy to help. Hope to see you in game!

If you’re still looking for a guild, Existential Sprocket would be happy to welcome you both. We’re a small, friendly guild looking to expand our ranks. We mainly do PVE, but will be doing PVP activities as well on occasion. We have guild site as well (here ) and are working on getting voice services in the future. Hope to see you in game!

Also… the website is currently under construction, but you are welcome to apply there as well. Hope to see you!
Hey there, friends! Existential Sprocket is now recruiting. We are a friendly, small (primarily but not limited to PVE) guild on the Tarnished Coast server looking to expand and increase our ranks. Our guild started several years ago in the first Guild Wars game, and our members are experienced and always happy to help out other players. New and old players alike are welcome to apply!
Feel free to message me (Chi Yuri) on the forums or in game with any questions or invite request. (You can also speak with my officers, Dekk or Mesmerizing). Feel free to also visit our site: Existential Sprocket
Thanks!

Hello.
I can understand how it can be when you’re short on time (as I work full time and am going to school full time). I am the guild leader of Existential Sprocket [EXP], and we a small casual PVX guild on the Tarnished Coast server. Our focus is on just having fun playing when we’re able, and helping others in game. If you have questions, feel free to message me through the forums or in game (Chi Yuri).

Hi there.
If you don’t mind a small guild, then we would be happy to have you in Existential Sprocket [EXP]. We are on the Tarnished Coast server. Many of us played the first game (myself in excess lol)and are casual PVX.We are all about just having fun, treating others with respect and helping those in need. If you have any questions, feel free to message me in the forums or in game (Chi Yuri).
Thanks!
-Chi Yuri, guild leader
I agree with this. Any feedback on guild halls would be amazing. Having a place to call our own was one of my favorite things about the first game. I feel like in the second game there is much less emphasis on guilds and it is more like other MMORPGs I’ve played. I’ve always loved guild wars for being unique and I would rather that not change.
Hello all! I’m the guild leader of Existential Sprocket. We are a small, close knit guild looking to expand. We are a casual, PVX guild, but are currently a little more focused on PVE due to our small size. We transitioned as a guild from the first Guild Wars game to the second, and are hoping that we can bring in some new members to enhance our community and help those that are new to the games. Although we are starting small, we hope to grow and provide a fun and memorable experience for all.
For more information or an invite, please contact:
Guild Leader: Chi Yuri
Officer: Moceline
You can send me (Chi Yuri) a message in game or through the forums here and I’ll be happy to assist in any way possible.
I hope to see you in game!

I am the leader of my guild. Only some of characters are able to represent though, well, currently only one can’t (my human elementalist). When I click the represent button, nothing happens. It animates and makes sound like I’m clicking it, but nothing happens.
One of my officers also previously reported upgrades we completed going missing after we switched servers from Ferguson’s Coast to Tarnished Coast.
