If it has to be a spear I want a fast respawn for throwing and a lot of dmg not like impalement now. Else again its a weapon that not many will use.
Thief might get rifle ehm sniper thief trust me then loads will drop their warrior and jump to sniper thief. Would be a big big mistake, thief would get to op then.
Indeed its not 1:1 you hit with impalement!
Thats why I ask myself this….is the dmg then not way to low that it gives?
I mean compared to the respawn for it?
If I speak for myself I really find the dmg for impalement way to low. Specially cause it hits only now and then what is the advantage then to use it if you spread the dmg over the time for a recharge its hardly worth the use.
A warrior running with sword&pistol would be cool and can still swap to Gs so still has mobility also.
Necros with a greatsword, hmm I hope that wont give a slaughter party with staff they are doing allready very good spamming fear and chills and dmg if they can combine both lol I fear Necro can become uber op slaugher. But maybe thats just my fear.
Pistol then or spear or shortbow, so something with a bit range? Combined with mace, shield or single hand sword could be interesting.
I would love then pistol or shortbow.
For warriors i would love..
1. a pistol
2. a poisoned spear
or go creative and exotic a bit and give the warrior something unique.
3. a boomerang,
aimed at one person but also has an option to do a group opponents circle strike before coming back to the warriors hand.
4. a poison dart pipe lot of native warriors used that has some range and poison stacking strong, think about curare paralysing the opponent etc.
5. a Sai that can be thrown like sword, can block melee and can strike short range.
I put my own 2 cents in it.
I am a wvw addict, i play gw2 just for wvw so what I talk about is round 8000 hours of observing.
First the good thing! I am of course not an addict if i dont like wvw! So cheers!
Wvw is a lot of fun lets start there.
The main flaw of wvw is that many matches are dominated by the numbers of ppl that play wvw from a server included night cap.
So often you can predict perfectly wich server is gone win the match. I find that sad.I seen in the last year round 10% of my friends list move to higher Tier. The reason is at higher tier there are more ppl playing so you have less the gaps of ppl and the unbalance of ppl at lower tier.
What I see is that more and more ppl slowly move to higher Tier, guilds also.
The result of this free moving is that lower tiers are wrecked slowly. they have to work way harder for less result and often already know the outcome of a match.So the main flaw Anet made is at the beginning of Gw2 let ppl choose a server including guilds. It would have been way better if ppl where spread randomly by the computers database over servers and fixed to it. Then you get matches that would be way less predictable and servers couldnt be wrecked by guilds that move to higher tier. It would make guilds grow loyalty to their server and in the end it would give more fun for all!
I am mostly a siege builder, besides scouting and a bit roaming.
I find it very wrong that ppl who build siege all day gain way less points then ppl taking tower, keeps and camps all day. A lot of ppl dont want to throw, build or tag siege. It would help if this was more rewarded by Anet! And yes it would give a more fun game cause siege makes keeps are less easy to be taken and are easier to defend….so again more rewarding fun gaming for attackers and defenders.
So reward siege builders more and start rewarding siege taggers! Even it was for little points.
It would help the game for sure!Only a real minority now throws siege, builds siege and tags siege. I can know cause for a small year a spent roughly 60 gold for throwing siege a month, building tagging siege.
The lower tier u go the more there for ppl are under strain, if this was all a bit more rewarded it would for all servers but for sure the servers with less ppl a lot more fun and less restraining.
Last point. Hackers become more of a problem and i expect this problem to slowly increase.

I play sometimes a ranger but most often i just face them. Rangers where always to weak and now they are regulary good to very dangerous. But i like them as they are, a good necro, thief or mesmer is way more dangerous for me.
So i would not say rangers are to op. They finnally do matter.
But I must say I play warrior mostly and I am fast a different class that is slow might have more problems with them.
Dear Anet, hackers become more and more a discust at WvW
My m8s and me saw this match a golem flying over in the air by a hacker. The only thing that happens if you dont respond to this kind of miss behavious is that there will be more hackers and also it annoys ppl like hell.
Irritation can go only so high before you drop a game. Say it subtle…it wont make you stick longer to a game will it? Its in your own interest I think to take ppl serious.
Warrior is not sucking when you work in a team but for roaming its not that good anymore while a year ago it was. Warrior is forced to use melee weapons. Seen many warriors use bow or rifle…….not me or anyone!
So being forced to melee weapons is the achilles spot for Warrior!
Would be fun to have explosive bullets.
Or pistols?
Would be nice if bow would become 1100 range with normal bow strings.
If warrior is forced to stay on melee weapons the ammount of warriors will drop for sure when ppl find out the advantages to play other char like engi or thief or necro.
Dream of a lot of warriors out there…give us warrior range weapons that work as smooth as our melee weapons so we can fight for a change with different weapons then always being stuck to melee!

Warrior is still viable, in groups. But on solo or in 1 to 1 duels a Warrior belongs now to the lower classes.
The reason is simple, the warrior seems at the moment a bit outdated because he has no range in a fight and most opponents have.
Almost all classes have a constant speed and for warrior there is no signet for this just a trait u get with melee weapons. So you are a bit forced to use swords! Also for mobility. But because condition dmg is op an enemy with range can stack you so much before you finally can hit him that its just simple math..range is op and melee is absolutely not op cause you have less hits.
You can say but the warrios has his rifle…well lets look at the real world out there, I play now wvw 1 year and a half and small 8000 hours but I rarely and I really mean rarely see a warrior that goes for a rifle build. Even with the changes I tried it it wont work. Bow is still better but you lose then a lot of mobility and you are running so slow then so its only ok in groups.
Solution, give warrios like most classes a signet choice for 25% speed and or make rifle a bit more realistic still.
Also make impalement with sword a realistic dmg! Cause in melee you got no range.
Realize this!
The warrior excels in nothing!
The ranger has more range obvious of course
The necro is way more tanky then the warrior and does still great dmg
Thief has way more speed and advantage
The guardian has more protection
The ele has more aoe and healing
The engineer is is op to the warrior saw that now in many duels from other ppl
But being forced to melee weapons and having not a speed signet makes the warrior a bit outdated against the other classes. I suspect there for if nothing changes you will see the warrior less. It wont disappear totally but like 60% of now. It will drop.
