Are there any power roaming build? Not a big fan of condition.

I suppose it depends on what your goal is. Honestly hammer is going to be the most effective weapon for engineer currently in WvW roaming, no way around it.

If you’re looking for a decent power build, I’m bias towards the build I play of course. Build. But it does use hammer.

Outside of using hammer, most power builds I’d recommend would be using grenades which you dislike.

As for your current build, I think the difficulty is when it comes to getting used to how you are something of a bruiser support/damage who does need some setup to be useful in fights. But the support you bring is great overall and does win fights even if you aren’t getting huge numbers.

Im not the OP XD, i love hammer, so thank you for the build.

Additionally, How well does Rev perform currently in roaming/group play in wvw? I love Rev, and as long as Rev is at least competitive ill be fine, dont exactly need to be PU mesmer OP(at least PU mes was still OP last i played, which is more than a year ago).

+1 This. Season promotes stacking, and stacking is not healthy for any wvw community. Anet will only shorten the life span of its wvw population if they continue to use the same approach towards season.

Coverage is what makes a server win but that is not what makes a server good at wvw. Morale, voice chat, wvw guilds, and attitude toward militia. These are some of the key things that make a server good/enjoyable in wvw.

Excessive coverage without proper organization and server morale will just lead to implosion after implosion.

Here’s what you do:
1. Join a WvW guild.
2. Get acquainted with said WvW guild.
3. Work your way to the top.
4. Upon guild leader’s death, take over the guild.
5. Bring guildmates into Obsidian Sanctum, murder those who murdered you.

No, I was cheated the moment SOME poeople (not the majority in the game) blacklashed and demanded the return. Me, along with many-many people, were happy with this skin.

Like I said, predictable backlashes, its bound to happen the moment skin hit the gem store. Unfortunately many other people dont have the positive attitude as you have about the armor.

Well, I’m afraid that after THIS occasion it won’t happen. They’ll just be afraid to repeat.

your wrong, maguuma and sos went in to gold knowing they are against the odds, but still they fought hard and never waivered, thats heart.

Then good for them! But i can still assure you that many players on either end of the league did not have much fun facing against server with larger population disparity. Might not be the case for gold league, but it is what we have experienced in silver league.

Unfortunately on lower pop server like IoJ or Nsp, those ones are just too few and far between. Nsp have some great wvw players who are always out there regardless of the match up, but when a zerg from a larger server shows up theres not much they could do.

Seaons 2? No, server population imbalance is way too big of a gap. Unless something is done season 2 will not be fun.

Many players don’t generally like bandwagon servers. Once some players found out a dev plays there and SBI would likely be a top Silver league server, they got transfers. Prior to that (and in my experience before and after) I find SBI to be a fine server for the most part. Not many guilds “rubbed it in” while I was fighting them out manned. I cannot say the same for some other servers (looking at you SE who spent a half hour portal bombing a handful of players in N camp).

SBI We really need to educate people on where to place siege and empower people to use the siege that’s placed and to lay down siege when attacking enforced keeps. 60% of the fights we’ve had with YB showed our naivety with siege tactics

You have some of the best dedicated siege people in game on your server, and very good scouts/guards. Maybe you should appreciate them a bit more and use them effectively. Look at FA, they talk a lot about open field, but their siege and scouting is also good. Its not one or the other, use both.

1. Not to point fingers, but please stop making it sound like YB is the only side engaged in unfair play, SBI did the same.
2. You lost people because of fairweathers, not ESO blah blah bs. ESO happened for all of us, fractal patch happened on every server. You lost more to these events, once again, because of fairweathers.
3. If you want to see us (YB) fight good, please go to your garrison, YBBL’s defenders want nothing more but a secure and well sieged borderland, they are not interested in fighting open field.

Do you think YB is ran by one person? How is it within our power to give our bl to EB exactly? You seem to be lacking the intelligence you claimed neither server has.

Also, by getting SBI’s attention, we allowed ebay to catch up in ppt with a 6k gap. It is only when SBI realize the danger of getting pushed down to 3rd did SBI went to EBBL and turn it green. If Ebay cant handle SBI blob theres not much YB can do.

Considering i’ve been on multiple maps this week with commanders on them and still had unmanned buff, I don’t think we have a lot of people.

Honestly though, I’m 99% sure though that even if ESO hadn’t happened, and the cheating..we’d still lose this matchup cause the new patch included PVE.

In the past whenever that happened we usually lost the match.

Would SBI please stop using losing people to other events in WvW as an excuse. WE ALL LOSE PEOPLE, SBI is not that one special server.

Nope, a formal alliance isn’t happening since that implies some level of coordination and/or communication.

Double teaming is happening, however, since it serves both YBs and Ebays interests to have SBI finish 3rd (edit: 3rd in this match). Also, SBI seems to be universally disliked. There’s just something about smug bandwagon servers that rubs people the wrong way (see also KN and DB).

Rather than crying about getting focused, how about accepting that it’s a part of WvW by design (and yes, YB has been double teamed many times). Of course it’s hard, seeing as you’ve had it easy for quite a few weeks now.

Anyway, thanks SBI and Ebay for such a memorable week of WvW!

Pretty much every silver league server has a grudge against SBI. They bandwagoned their way up, and in every thread we see something along the line of “You guys are so boring, we belong in gold leauge.” Which i imagine ticked many people off.

Its unfortunate really, the population disparity is simply too huge. Good fights all around on reset night though.

Forgive some of our forum warriors and tones FA, we haven’t been able to get a organized defense going in Ybbl in the past week, and many of us are just venting frustrations when we get a chance. It’s really been a great week, and to be able to find fights whereever I go is more than what o can ask for.
