I am crashing after about 2 minutes or so, every single time. I did not buy the outfit, I did not preview the outfit. I was just wandering around in WvW.

My animation settings were already on high, so that wasn’t it for me (I have tried setting it to “Low” and to “Medium” and it’s the same).

Honestly, I’ve not done any of the things people are reporting that cause these crashes, and yet I’m getting the crashes.

Lately there seems to have been a lot of new items in the game that wind up being books or lists or things similar. Many of these are items I’d like to hang onto, but which take up a lot of space in my inventory. Some specific examples include:

• [Completed Baby Book] : You get this at the end of Chuka and Chumpawat. I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s pretty darn cool, and I don’t want to discard it now that Chuka is complete.
• Research Journals from Bloodstone Fen : There’s two of these, and for those of us who like the lore, we’d like to keep them.
• [Marjory’s Journal] : An example from a while ago.

It would be really awesome if all of these items could go into a specific wardrobe-like place so we can keep them and yet not have them fill our inventory. I’d be fine if we had to travel to a city to withdraw them or read them, as long as I can keep them without losing space.

Another idea is an item for your home instance that is essentially a library where these books could be found. I’d even be fine having to work to get the library (like do a collection achievement or something).

Yep…. same during Jormag just now… nearly everyone was having constant crashes. I crashed 7 times during the fight.

Others in my guild we reporting it happening in Silverwastes, WvW, Dragon Stand… everywhere.

Something is amiss here. Have the 64-bit client, running fullscreen windowed.

I have all professions at 80. Of course, having every job at 80 isn’t the same as playing every job at 80.

I recently finished out full ascended gear for three of my characters, each fitting very specific roles. My Guardian is geared specifically for WvW, my Mesmer is a Chronobunker for raids and general PvE, my Ranger can either be straight DPS or healing for raids, fractals or other general PvE.

Now that I have the three classes I play the most fully geared, I’m looking to start full ascended sets for other characters so that I can have other options to bring to the table in specific settings (such as raids, fractals, etc). What I would like is to gear up a class I a) like playing and b) would fit useful and specific needs for groups I find myself in.

The modes I play are PvE, Fractals, Dungeons, Raids, and WvW. I have zero interest in PvP.

I’m thinking the one area I’m lacking is in condi-damage (my Guardian is a burn-bunker, but she’s specific for WvW so she doesn’t really count). So I’m leaning, strongly, towards gearing my next character to be strong with condi.

It seems, these days, that Necro is king of condi. However, I really dislike playing my Necro :-) I do like playing my Warrior (I had a blast running berserker elite with, well, berserker exotic gear after the HoT release), and my Warrior is tied with my Engineer for fourth most played character on my account.

So I’m asking you guys to sell me on making my Warrior my next, fully fleshed out and geared character. I’m also asking for general stat and build guidance considering a) I’m lacking a condi-build in general and b) I typically get pretty bored playing straight up glass cannon berserker gear. Also, bearing in mind I don’t do PvP, so my build should be useful elsewhere.

I had the same issue, then I realized that it had to do with the configuration settings reset (see other thread). My config had been reset to max settings. Once I set them appropriately, my FPS came back.

TL;DR – Check to see if your graphic settings have reset.

Same bug.

Win 7, 64-bit client.

Here’s one more note on this: It doesn’t reset ALL of my settings… only the first tab (General Options). The other tabs remember my settings just fine.

What’s your hardware specs? That information will probably help someone diagnose the problem.

Personally, I haven’t seen this artifacting myself.

The Moot I Collection:

I’m stuck at 92%, the only item I’m lacking is the Giant Shark Tooth.

I’ve killed the shark twice now, with two different characters, both times I’ve done plenty of damage and got the Steel Chest to drop. However, the tooth is never in the chest for me (nor is it a drop anywhere else).

Both times I’ve been with others who have gotten the tooth, so I know this isn’t a universal bug. But I cannot progress until it’s fixed for me.

Unless this isn’t a 100% guaranteed drop (in which case, ugh… seriously?) then it’s obviously bugged for me.

EDIT: I guess I should say that I did get the Shark Fin to drop, which some have speculated is for a later stage in the moot precursor crafting. Could it be that it somehow skipped the tooth for me and I’m glitched as being on a higher tier?

Last night, after the patch that came out roughly 7pm EST, I took one of my characters to do map completion in the original maps. I completed my last POI in Wayfarer Foothills and got no completion reward. Is this bug related to all of this, or is it something entirely different?

Yep, same issue for me. Tired a couple of times, and it’s always the same. I actually purchased this content too….

Done it three times now, yet to get it. Unless there’s some trick that we’re all not seeing, this has to be a bug…

It’s marked as “ready”, but hasn’t been enabled yet (obviously, it’ll probably be enabled once the PR is merged).

I vote to keep it… Probably wont happen… but that’s my vote anyway…
