i will not deny i played in EotM for a bit and met alot of friends.
but I am sure i did not get the whole 7600 from edge, probly only got 500-1000 rank ups from edge of mist thats it … i been playing WvW since time..

included my WvW rank so the devs that might read this will know that the person complaining has been playing WvW for a while and has experience knowing alot of WvW mechanics and gameplay styles..

You can buy the recipes again with karma. It’s one of the legendary crafting npcs. Like 4th or 5th tab. Something about Tier 1 Recipes or something. Costs like 10k karma. Probably a lot of threads about this same thing.

I haven’t seen any server messages or anything, but nobody in my guild seems able to stay in the guild hall. Loads in fine, then 30-60 seconds later we all get ported back to LA.

Couple questions.

1) Braham keeps opening rifts in the middle of nowhere. As in, there is no ground to stand on to commune with them. How do you get around this?
2) How do you get around the buggy jump pads?

For those having issues getting Chapter 14 to work with the markings, read:

I, with some in-game assistance from fellow players, worked out a solution for the rocks.

I don’t know if it’s intended, but the mechanism behind the progression for Chapter 14 on each rock to investigate relies on whether or not your character actively searches and spends time within the area.

In other words, if you want the toggle for examining each rock to appear, have the bar shrink and expand as you search the entire area, even if you know where you need to go.

I don’t know what sort of back-end mechanics it was, but people were having success with it.

So at each rock, spend a bit more time ‘looking’ around for the markings letting the meter fill bit by bit, with it frequently shrinking back, and it will progress you to the next rock.

This is how myself and a couple confirmed others made it through the Chapter.

I did this for each new track. It bugged on the first one the first time, second the second, first the third, 5th the next, first, second, etc. Doesn’t work.

How much longer until this is fixed?

yeah this new pve mode is really fun, but why do we have to queue from pvp?? they should add stronghold to lion’s arch, divinity’s reach, etc. so it’s more accessible to the pve scene. IDGI?? Why do I have to go to PvP to do the new PvE mode?

Long discussion, coming in late, but here’s my opinion: turn off chat. block people. move on. it’s the internet. if everything triggers you, maybe you should start playing more single-player games.

This is a game that many of us play for leisure and relaxation. Why are you trying to dictate what people can name their pets? That’s simply not fair. I don’t log in just to tell you what color to dye your armor. Play how you want!

On the flip side, many people participate in online games as a way to act out things that they are not allowed to do IRL. Take, for example, the erotic role play community. As a side note, that’s who we should really be going after here, not the poor misunderstood Ranger pets.

I’m an able-bodied young(ish) person, but my full-time job for the last 25 months has been taking care of my elderly and disabled parents. GW2 has been my outlet through both of my dad’s hospitalizations (and aftercare associated with those), my mom’s radiation and chemo, tube feedings, more medications than I can count, and her eventual death. I’ve found a few people that have been in similar situations who have helped me to just deal with stuff, and that’s great.

Anyway, yes. That is all. Just yes.

Nah, people don’t think everyone in SBI is an exploiter. But I wouldn’t rule out the idea that SBI has intentionally done this a time or two. Why? In most cases where you see this it’s one or two people no matter which server it happens to. But… in a few cases there have been 5, 10, 15 people glitching in and not 1 at a time over a long period of time but all at once or in a matter of a few seconds. In those cases I suspect that it was intentional.

The couple times it’s happened to me, I think around 5 people glitched in within about 15 seconds. If I remember right, 2-3 were on teamspeak and were right confused about what happened. I can understand when things look fishy, but please be careful about passing judgment.

Funny thing about this: the second time it happened (the first time I was in a golem and got stuck in the wall), I forgot what side of the map we were on and it took me a few seconds longer to find a ramp up out of the keep. It may have looked like my random, swervy, zig-zaggy running was in the general direction of the lord and other NPCs, but really I was spinning my camera around trying to figure out where to go. It was kind of scary :/

Anyone who cheats, even if unintentional, should get a permaban. You can’t easily say who did it on purpose, and who did it by accident. So ban them all. It’s better to make a few people mad and have a good play environment.

So… just to be clear… if you happen to accidentally glitch through a wall, panic, and run out the other side, you should be permabanned, too?

Guys, there are people who attempt to exploit the door glitch on every server. I’m sorry that it happens to everybody.

Two times tonight we (SBI) were after the blue keep in EB. Both times I ended up glitching through the door (the first time was in a golem and I ended up getting stuck in the wall and then being knocked under the keep, which I don’t understand). Both times the commanders told everyone—both in teamspeak and in-game—to just run back up over the wall. Both times I stopped fighting to submit a bug report. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon, but until then we’ll have to deal with a few people actively trying to make this glitch work in their favor. Yes, it sucks, but I would put money on the line that the vast majority don’t go in purposefully trying to glitch the gates.

I’ve seen this a lot over the last couple weeks, too. Some BP walked through the wall in our NW tower to spike me on reset night. He did skedaddle over the wall after that, though, so it was probably a random “oops” moment. I’m not sure how I’d react if I walked through a phantom door. Probably about the same.

That said, it looks like those SBI meant to be there (or at least didn’t intend to just die or beeline for the exit). If that’s the case, I’m sorry. That’s the kind of stuff that most of us do not tolerate on our server. I’m sure it’s the same on yours. Unfortunately, it’s always the really bad stuff that really shapes our opinions of each other.

You know, I’ve had a lot of fun so far this week. I had a lot of fun last week, too. I love seeing big numbers at the top of my screen, but regardless of the ticks or who’s outmanned or what the final score is, it’s all about having a good time with good people <3

To be fair, I’m not entirely sure that the three BP’ers in our north camp were drunk.

Either way, they were entertaining and weren’t really hurting anything (other than holding our keep and distracting me from doing anything productive).
