Maybe it’s to reflect the impact that the current story line will have on the world? I agree, it’s annoying, but I’m sure the Asura will reinstate it as some point.

I salivate at the thought of precursor crafting. Never been into crafting myself, but thinking of selling all those mats… The GOLD!

I bought 3 stacks when the keys were on sale earlier this month. The question is, do I burn through all 75 keys now in hopes of getting the contract, or wait for the next holiday event (when opening chests seems to net more)?

Purchased a second SSD for my games, makes the loading times much shorter in everything I’ve played. I know most people don’t have money to throw around, but GW2 on an SSD does see improvement.

Hopefully this means they’ll come help us at the Frostsound Gorge train x_x

The ability to turn off the tag would be a good idea.

Mmmm mmm mmm, gotta love that full glass cannon in PVE.

Dual Dagger Elementalist and I solo pretty well. If anything calls for a little tanking, I just summon an Earth Elemental.

Could always use a Transmutation Crystal if you don’t like it :P

“Join the Captain’s Council and other dignitaries as they light dragon effigies in the Grand Piazza of Lion’s Arch starting June 18.”

Note they say “starting” so hopefully they’ll allow everyone to join in for the rest of the month. If not, well…. I have tomorrow off anyways.

It says it’s a “single player instance”. So my guess would be that it starts on June 18th, and it just constantly open until the end of the event.

I think they try to keep “one-day-only” events to a weekend, so the maximum number of people can enjoy it.

Plus there are still several achievements to unlock, I can only assume there will be more events as the month progresses.

Also, from the releases page:

“Join the Captain’s Council and other dignitaries as they light dragon effigies in the Grand Piazza of Lion’s Arch starting June 18. Hosted by the jovial Magnus the Bloody Handed, this ceremony will be full of merriment and surprises.”

So my guess is that this will be an ongoing thing.

Well, you’re not “forced” to participate, but I get the idea. You’re essentially spending money for an achievement.
