Sure, while they’re at it why don’t they remove the alcohol which you’re encouraged to have your character guzzle and get drunk (Even though the intoxication effect is either broken or not in the game yet/never will be).

Also, kids shouldn’t be playing this game. Notice the ESRB rating? Yeah? T? Mmmhmm, for teens and older. Guess what? Most teens already know the terms, so there’s no point in censoring it.

Substance abuse iirc isn’t legalized at any age (in most countries), whether you are 10 or 90. Responsible consumption of alcohol is different.

Marijuana is legal in the states of Washington and Colorado now. So there :P

What are these? I got killed by these the other day, but I did not recognize the skills.

I could be game for having HS damage lowered to almost nothing > 50% Health if Death Blossom was raised a little bit.

I know this is an old post, but it should place emphasis that this bug has been around a while. Experienced this twice today.

What’s actually gained by updating?

I don’t want to be told to update, I want to be told why it’s worth updating.

Windows 8 has a smaller hard disk and ram footprint, and runs faster than even Win 7. Faster data transfer speeds and is just generally faster. Thats about it.

I’m wondering if all the anti farming people realize that you need to farm a ton of materials to get a legendary, which is part of the game. You need a LOT of materials. The DR makes it even more of a painstaking experience.

I personally like the scepter, however you could also try sword/torch. I hear its quite good. I use greatsword and scepter/torch myself though.

I am having this issue quite frequently. It is very frustrating. I thought it was my mouse right button dieing, as this is the only game im playing atm. I decided to google and low and behold this is a game bug.

I seem to get about 5 levels out of each zone regardless of what the level says. To keep up I do crafting, story quests, and some WvWvW. Also theres pretty much multiples of zones for the same level so I end up doing those too.

I always see everyone talk about greatsword being so awesome at DPS for Warrior, when in fact dual axe does a lot better at DPS than greatsword. You just don’t get to see a single insanely high damage number.

The solution is to not attack the boss in his second phase. The problem is that if you do too much damage, the boss dies before he can kill Beirne.

This solution DOES NOT WORK. First, I didn’t attack him at all in the second phase, I stood by and watched. Still broken. The third time (after trying normally the first time) I didn’t attack him at all, first or second phase. Still broken.

Edit: I would like two hours of my life back.

I did this too, twice now. The NPCs kill him before he can do his thing. You would think they would script in an Invulnerability type thing where he kills the dude right after the cutscene, but no.

Right now ~ 1.10 gold = 400 gems which you could use to buy bag slots and put cheaper 12 slot bags in. Cheaper.

I’m currently a level 21 Rifle/Turret Engineer. I’m enjoying the game very much and this is my first run as a Engineer.

During the Beta, I played a Ranger and I noticed that my Beta Ranger was able to pull off lots of cool combos for bonus points. Almost all my Ranger’s skills had combos listed in the tooltips with them.

But for some reason I don’t seem to have any combo options right now as a Engineer. (Either that or I’m not seeing them…)

Did I pick the wrong build or something?

I am running a condition engineer, but most of your combos come from kits. Combo fields I use all of the time are burning from #4 skill on Flamethrower, Condition Removal field from Elixer gun #5 skill, you can do a water field with the Healing turret, if you use the heal turrets tool belt skill, then summon and immediately detonate the healing turret you get a water field, which provides regeneration for those around you.

I also use the bomb kit, which provides another burn combo field.
