When was the last time a developer read/posted on the elementalist forum?

The last time I remember was when a guy from arenanet introduced himself, claiming that there will be more communication with the ele community. Oh man… the irony

in most cases if i am dueling a guy in wvw and he begs me not to use supply crate, and i am in a power setup, i use elixir x

if u get tornado.. well he wont go near u for some time, it rocks if u get rampage tho, skill 3 hits for around 4 k, all other skills r cc, and after the duel they complain about ur rampage :p

anyway, if its in a pvp server (mostly all eu pvp dueling servers ) got the rule not to use any elite above 121 sec, as ranger u cant use entangle for example, but can be traited to 120 s, and is allowed afterwards, if ur duel was there, it could be that case

anyway, it could also be that supply crate is strongest elite ingame (most impactful) in a pvp perspective (player vs player, i dont mean the game mode) and they dont wanna fight smth like that

the game isn’t balanced for 1v1s.
if you are fighting anything in this game and do not use all tools available to you because of some misguided sense of honor or fairplay, thats when you’re a noob :p

WTB energy sigil buff and a new trait that applies 30 seconds of vigor to necromancers whenever a warrior comes withing 1500 range feet units whatever.

honestly this kill trading crap that you call “gvg” needs to be a bannable offense, because it’s ruining my game mode, especially in T2.

I run diamond skin and I get hate for that as well. Regardless of what build you’re using, and whether or not it is cheese, it’s always best to ignore the enemy. If you have a successful build and can kick some butt with it, screw the haters. Run it.

Play condition ele. More of a challenge and surprises players especially if you’re using Perplexity.

I saw your video, very cool man. Completely forgot about that invuln elite of the sylvari.

Solid choices are:

Sigil of Air: This hits for 1k+ damage if you have any kind of decent power, only a 3 second cooldown. It is the best sigil for dps in the game now.

Sigil of blood: This provides 226.5 HPS base if you proc it everytime off cooldown. This also damages too.

Sigil of strength: Might 10 second base, with enough might duration you can get the 6 stacks of might battle provides in 20 seconds in 12 seconds with good crit chance. You can always run them together.

Sigil of fire: It’s ok now but it took at 15% damage nerf while still keeping its old cooldown.

Sigil of purity: This is basically cleansing wave or water trait as long as you have 6 arcana it will remove conditions at the same pace but you do need to crit on something for it. This works on ambient creatures too

Those are solid choices for d/d ele now. Generosity if you have a spare or the gold to buy one.

That’ is so evil. I don’t blame you though. I tend to do that too. Specially to those that /laugh, /dance at me when they killed in group/Zerg lol. I remember their guild, character appearance and when I find them alone I do karma on them but to the extreme lvl. Lol.

People actually run fresh air? Tempest defense 0/30/25/10/5 is the best burst spec in game and let’s you instantly delete 1 person from a fight.

From roamer’s perspective, overall [EXG] is one of the best and classiest guilds in Deso. Really enjoyed fights with them, the odd teabagging aside.
Deso does have lots of really good roamers, but because they’re so high population server, fights often escalate into 1v3+.

Next match will prolly be the worst one of the season for us, because we’re against 2 german servers. Blobbadon is the worst server ever, but I hope MS will give some good action.

Captain’s Log, Stardate 43125.8. I have been waiting for 10 days now for 1v1 in wvw. No enemy in sight. I am starting to wonder if wvw is the right place to look for 1v1’s. Maybe spvp would be a better place, although I am not confident that equal stats for everyone is a thing for me. I have decided to wait a few more days in hope of getting some wvw zerg built enemy ganked.

The real question: Why doesn’t anet want us to be able to play bunker D/D elementalist anymore?

Revert the stunbreak on our cantrips nerf. Nobody is using the new stunbreakers you added to other garbage spells for pvp/wvw. Except maybe people new to the class. Nobody is using One With Air either.

Why can we be CC’d in mistform? It says invulnerable right on the spell. Fix this.

Yes. Perplexity runes are extremely cheese. It’s like fighting 5 mesmers at once. We have a bunch of things that remove conditions, but the cds are extremely far apart. These runes apply confusion every couple of seconds.

In WvW if you take off signet of restoration, you can barely stay healed. If you don’t use Ether Renewal, you are going to be cc’d forever. Where is the balance here? There’s no real bunker spec anymore for eles. You ruined it. I’m about as bunker as I can possibly be: stab on earth attunement, remove cond on cantrip and water attunement. Stab, Invuln, port cantrips (If i get rid of any of those for another condi clear I can’t get away from anything.) Fiery Greatsword HAS to be the elite or I can’t get away/catch anything.

What are our options here? Full PVT and do no damage while our enemies laugh at us? Full clerics and still do no damage? Then get spiked by a thief with bloodlust stacks hitting our low vitality? Can we make good use of perplexity runes? No. I use knights with travelers runes for more mobility, more boon duration, more stats. I use Celestial trinkets because clerics lack vitality, and everything else lacks healing power. And yet still I get chain CC’d, and dominated by conditions. Which leads me to…

Why on earth did you incorporate the stacking of immobilization?

How to win as a necro: Corrupt boon/ Fear spam.
How to win as a thief: perma stealth/Backstab.
How to win as a warrior: Heal through everything/Outrun everything.
How to win as a guardian/mesmer/lbow ranger: Zerker gear.
How to win as an anything but ele: perplexity runes. I mean, how do you even damage an engineer running these now?

Does anet even play this game? Do you roam, bro? People complained about our class for so long that the only result is to break it instead of balance it. Then the other classes get buffed, and we get nonsense. Yeah, staff is great. I want to roam. Not with a staff. D/D is fastest mobility, great 1v1, but the bunker aspect took a huge nosedive. I think I covered most of the reason why.

lets just all agree that Anet messed something up with this season thing and we are all getting skilllag. The skilllag problem also gets worse when they is a lot of people next to each other.

I for one like blaming blobbadon because they are such easy targets and I enjoy their forum replies.

As harsh as it may sound to my own server would you pay 1800 for an unreliable clapped out motor that could break down at any moment or 1000 or less on a practical, more reliant and economic model? The way things are going that is an example of the choice people are making, it is purely up to guilds and individuals playing on Desolation to get their heads screwed on and improve our image into a positive one.

QQ SCND (joke)…….. I think you acknowledged that i held back INVI from interfering when i was commanding a tag down guild raid last night. It was the battle you were having against 2 of deso’s guild groups COIN & GoD i think…near north east bay water edge……..shame you failed to return the favor in ruins….. however you were probably not aware that we had lost numbers and been fighting there for days….so i will let you keep hold of your man points for now. :-). Apologies for not challenging you to a GvG however our squad GvG commander is on holiday for 2 weeks…..minus man points to us :-)

If we notice a fight going on between 2 guilds we don’t interfere, we probably weren’t aware of the situation. Still, you have my apologies.

I wanted you to start using your guilds better. But this was never gonna happen which i don’t need to even write about you can watch liryc 2nd vid vs VIZ when we first fought you. FM MORT WL main viz guilds all running alone 25-30. Die few times then starting to run together from there the dawn of blobing because you could not win by trying to be better as guild. Then the excuse i hear thousands of times how we play for server as collective. Blatant excuse for covering bads to run in 100 man blobs. Que dawn of blobs. RG > Viz guild > viz blobs > deso blob to counter > culling removal took wrong way > game meta > now.

So now by being t2 your legacy is over cause its not special since you cant say you have been in t1 forever!. I did not even need to make sfr 3.0 because i knew one day you would get bored and would never be able to hold t1 forever.

Ironic on day i fold guild and quit 5/7/13 gw2. Is day viz as legacy means nothing thanks for that Anet.

So in the end the great eye ever watchful wins the day. The big bad Sacrx > viz even without doing anything. I wish you well back in t1 next week. Maybe i will get a new account and secretly lead you out of these hard times from t2. Special kiss to META guild always some good laughs. Nice use of your Ele-ness! The same thing has happened to me, unfortunately. I’ve tried makin’ friends with enemies, but they end up turning on me. Even at skill points! I’ll go out of my way to mess with someone who’s at a skill point. I just follow them around. lol

Funny story, one time I was on my Ele and I saw this Guardian. I tried to “make friends,” but he started attacking me. I let him attack me for about a minute before I decided to kill him because he didn’t get the hint.

I want to make frienemies, but people show no mercy. :<

Wish I came across play like that more often. An instance of when large skirmishes can still be great fun.
