Ticket: 570359

My account was hacked, everything sold or salvaged, and a mobile authenticator that didn’t belong to me was added to my account.

The mobile authenticator was removed, but my account still has not been restored. Today is Wednesday, I filed on Friday (5 days ago).

Rate the Necromancer look above you

9/10 nice skin.

When I created my Necro I wanted it to be like a demon, so I made a Charr.

8/10. I really like it. You went for the demon look and you got it. Your staff and gloves really bring it together. Though for me personally, there’s a bit to much black. Add a contrasting color maybe to bring out the finer details in the armor.

SBI and CD I’ve missed you guys so much. I feel like I’m seeing friends I haven’t seen in a decade.

I’m sure it’s been said before, but I’ll say it again – As an IOJer, t3 is a blast. FA and CD, you guys are great opponents. Thanks for bringing in some fresh air into WvW. If FA can close a gap like that and end up in second place, while CD held first place and has fallen down to last (There’s always next week ) then this will be a dynamic tier I hope we can all look forward to.

Help motivate Anet make some minion bug fixes

According to This post,

Q How does the Live Response Team determine which bugs to fix/exploits to remove/features to implement in each update?
A To track the active bugs in the game, we use a bug tracking database and a priority system. [. . .] each bug in our system is given a priority number depending on how many players or which systems it affects. For example, [. . .]”

So maybe if we all report this class-breaking bug using the report system en masse, we might see some fixes. Fixes that have been disturbingly absent in the previous patches. It should be easy to reproduce, since it happens every. single. time minions are “used.”

W/e. Did have a bit of fun this morning; SoS were pwning IoJ at overlook, so I ran over and tried to help them by leading a merry goose chase around the inside. Did that for at least 10 mins. Pretty funny, actually.

Then an IoJ thief tried to kill me as I was harrassing SoS so I just ran into their 100+ player zerg as they capped overlook, died a miserable if not instantaneous death, and logged off for a while. I jus wanted to be frens with IoJ for a bit but obviously they didn’t want me around. Oh wells.

It sometimes works though! I manage to team up with 2 other SOR to take out 4 SOS. I booked it at the end though. Not sure how long our new founded truce would have lasted. . .

SweetFX and Co

Lasur Arkinshade.4107:

This isn’t going to accomplish anything. ArenaNet have already repeatedly explicitly stated that they won’t approve any third party programs/modifications. Instead, just check SweetFX against their guidelines, and decide for yourself whether you still want to use it.

The general guidelines are that mods are ban-able if they give the player using them some sort of advantage or allow them to automate gameplay. SweetFX does neither of these, therefore one assumes that it doesn’t violate their policies.

Simple enough, to be honest.

Pretty much this. But I don’t think everyone’s has had their fair share of beating the dead horse yet. . .

In all seriousness though, if it wasn’t okay that thread would have been locked and the link removed. The moderator stepped in, and although he couldn’t say it was “okay.” (Because officially it would be a bad move) He gave a pretty good hint that it is.

Is Minion master ok by now?

The Demonic Spirit.3157:

I’m a MM and specialized in Vitality , toughness and healing power.
My main weapon is staff ( got DD too > using it for siphoning in serious situations ).
Now I’m level 64 and my hp is 19k , it’s rarely to drop to 10k(thanks to my minions which I rely on them to damage my foe ).
I’m the last man standing in all dungeons and events so I think that MM is the best build for the necromancer and it’s even better than condition master.

It could be too that the mobs don’t think you are a threat so you aren’t getting any aggro (or not much) until you are the last man standing. (Also vitality isn’t a good thing to spec into as a necro. You get dimishing returns at higher levels. Or so I’ve heard.)

To the OP:

I’m sorry. I want to be a MM as well, but as others have pointed out. MM AI, such as not aggroing when needed, and then getting undesired aggro combined with a lack of regen on minions and other misc bugs, it just isn’t a viable build, especially in dungeons, where picking up unwanted aggro can end up in a wipe.

I personally prefer stacking 15-25 bleeds that last for 10-50 seconds and tick for 160 dmg onto 5 other targets. During which we get a stack of 10 might from BiP. Conditionmancer is one of our class’s best builds. It’s just too good to pass up. Atleast until we get bugs fixed and/or buffed. But there is nothing to stop you from disagreeing, or just playing a build for flavors sake.

Am I seeing that correctly? The new field of view adds a little more to the sides, but doesn’t change the vertical FOV?

It changes vertical FOV. He’s just looking further down in the second screenshot.

I would leave Post Processing on if it wasn’t for the bloom.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about HDR/Bloom in general.
