I have some materials that are not shown on discovery tab, like a Venom Sac (see pic).
Am I missing something or is it a bug?
Awful Performance (Freezes/Crashes) with Nvidia Video Cards

I’ve tested today gamers notebook MSI GE70 with i7-3610QM and GeForce GTX660M (Kepler) and I’m pleased with perfomance, GPU was used 90-95% in game, same to CPU. Playable with Max settings – 30+FPS at 1920×1080 (driver version 296.31, Win7 64bit, 8GB RAM).
I don’t think that’s my problem, since I just upgraded to this videocard today. My previous card was a 560 Ti, with the latest beta drivers (as recommended by ArenaNet), but I still had crashes then.
I had latest driver 306.02 from NVidia, and the game crashing almost every hour, turned back to official WHQL driver 301.42, playing almost whole day and all those crashes are gone.
Can it be a problem with memory on videocard? Are you playing other GPU demanding games with big textures?
Here is my Test.txt file. Intermittant crashes with a GeForce GFX 660Ti, latest WHQL drivers.
NVidia 306.02 drivers are not WHQL, and I think that is the problem, especially with new card like 660Ti. But they don’t have any other driver for your Videocard…

GW2 runs fine on Auto setting (medium details) – 30FPS+ on PvE.
PC is 6 years old but is still working great

You can use: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html BSOD Viewer if you want to look at mini dump files.
For the last few says I have been plagued by constant crashes and a couple of blue screen of death. Had done two -repair on the client, and tonight I did a full reinstall from the discs.
Game was working fine after a fresh reinstall – and then after about 2-3 hours of game play, I had the mighty BSOD again.
Get back to official Nvidia driver 301.42 – WHQL, see if it helps. I have a lot of problems with newer betas including BSOD.
P.S after like 2 hours of playing CPU gets really hot like almost 80 degrees Celsius but this is normal right?
80C is pretty high for a laptop CPU
To add to this, the page that shows your current items up for sale does not scroll and is not paginated, so you can’t remove/cancel older items you’ve put up without removing/canceling everything since then to get it on the screen.
+1
It’s strange that a.net missing that, but I understand them. TP need to go on another maintenance.
Here are the three files:
Guild Wars 2.txt
ArenaNet.log (x2 – 1x C:\ and 1x\)
Did you repair the game with -repair option?
I see some mentions of corrupted textures in the log files.
Do you think it could be a problem with some HDDs or SSDs ? Like I said before, I moved the folder from my Corsair Force GT “SSD” to my 500GB “HDD” and I have not received any error yet. But I was having problems and errors every 15 minutes when I was running the game from my SSD.
If you think it’s related to SSD, look at firmware update (be careful, some of them destroys your data) from manufacturer, and AHCI driver updates for your SATA controller.
When I click on next page (or 2nd page) in News section on Guildwars2.com there are message: Foo! Quaggan cannot find page! Is this 1st April joke or something isn’t right? It’s not so important, but you should know about the problem…
PS. GW2 Great game!!!
Check your RAM with some testing program like Memtest.
