I was going to make a thread about this but decided to resurrect this one. I would like to enlarge (only) my skillbar so the skills are easy to click on. I understand and sometimes do use hotkeys to activate the skills but often I just want to click the skillbar. Why can’t we move and resize the UI like we could in Guild Wars 1?
I am always losing the cursor. I don’t have this trouble in DOTA 2, the cursor in that game is better. Will I get into trouble with Anet if I use yolo mouse in Guild Wars 2??
Was this ever fixed? because I remember many bugs with playlists several years ago and I login to see if there is a solution and the same sort of bugs are being reported.
I also would like to use custom playlists but some are bugged. I’ve been waiting for years for this to be fixed and still it’s not. Please moderator can you at least inform us what’s going on?
I would also like to know
Not really that difficult as I have lots of areas I need to explore :p I shall ask on map chat, thanks for the suggestion.
I don’t want a group to level up, I’d like a group to go explore together and get some areas to 100%
Going to a level 15 area to complete it would be more slower at mid 70 than at 80? Why is this?
Oh? I shall do that then; going to lower levels. All my characters are mid 70s
I’m sure a lot of us are trying to complete most or all areas. I’ve been doing it on my own and it is would be good to find a few people so we can do it together. It would be faster and more fun. Anyone interested? My in-game name is Deadman UK and I play on Piken Square server.
I don’t have 2 gold, let alone 6 gold!
I thought Anet are going to keep phase one quests open for a bit longer to allow people to finish them? I couldn’t last night because of countless bugs…
Why? How am I suppose to get the 5 Captains Council Commendations??
I’m trying to get the potion from Gukumatz but I don’t even see him to start gathering supplies. Where is he? I am here:

But he isn’t here!
Same error here. Crashing 4 – 5 times a day. Getting very frustrating!
I hope so, I think the custom music files need an overhaul
And enable the camera to zoom far out like in the Mad King dungeon…
As I said in another topic, the playlists need an overhaul
Been suggested before but I still like to see it implemented!
Title says it all really. I think it would be nice if you completed an area (like Queensdale) and you travel within Queensdale, the cost of waypoints is 0. This wouldn’t always be the case though, let me give an example:
You have 100% completion of Queensdale but you don’t for Lions Arch. If you travel from Lions Arch to Queensdale, it would still cost you to travel. However, if you got 100% completion in Lions Arch too, then travelling to Queensdale would cost 0.
Basically, if you travel from point A to point B and you got 100% completion in both areas, you get free travel. If you want to travel within an area that you’ve 100% completed, then travel is also free.
I lose my cursor often too in battle
Piken Square is where I play in the UK
Anyone looking for someone to wander around with, you can add me to your buddy list
Shouldn’t this be in the audio section?
Let’s find the looters then! I want my GW1 statues back.
I have linked my GW1 account with my GW2 account and I have 35 points in the HoM like someone kindly said. I have access to pets like the White Raven, Jellyfish and Black Moa. I also have access to skins which I unlocked from GW1. I was however expecting to see statues from GW1 HoM like armour, weapons and achievements. If this stuff was never ment to be here in GW2 then that’s fine. I am not saying this is a bug.
When I visit my hall of monument, it’s rundown. Weren’t we suppose to see GW1 stuff here?
I would like this too
I would like to see the costs either go completely or be toned down. After all, the original GW didn’t have travel costs. Of course there weren’t as many waypoints as in GW2.
Of course another solution would be to give each map a “major” waypoint to which travel would be free. Other “waypoints would be minor” waypoints and travelling to them would have the regular cost. These major waypoints could easily be the ones that are located near map entrances/exits?
I think this is the best idea… major free waypoint then minors at reduced prices.
I would like to have this feature back in the game. I really like to zoom out far and appreciate the scenery
Same with me, many are having it. I haven’t done this once yet
I don’t really understand to be honest and I did read your FAQ. Here is a screenshot:
What does it show?
Forgot to mention, a guild mate also has the same CPU and GPU as me (but XFX instead of MSI) and he gets much better fps and he runs the game @ a higher resolution too.
I have a Intel Core i7 2600K overclocked to 4.2GHz and a Radeon HD 6950 2GB OC. Process Explorer shows the CPU and GPU as low usage when I play Guild Wars 2, yet fps can drop as low as 20 in Lions Arch. I run the game @1920x1200 on maximum settings (native). Is my CPU a bottleneck? I ask because when I lower the resolution to say 1024×768, I only gain a couple of frames.
Definitely needed!
There is a downed theme but mine doesn’t play since I stsrted using a custom play list.
The custom playlists need an overhaul wth more options and bug fixes.
I got an i7 @4.2GHz with 8gig RAM and a MSI 6950 2GB OC and I get low 20’s in Lions Arch and Black Citadel. I run @1920x1200 with max settings (native)
This has been suggested some many times, I really hope this is implemented. The current playlists are too generalised.
For the customized soundtrack: please let us have a playlist for each zone, city and dungeon!

An Ambient playlist is just to genereal, we need zone or area specific ambient playlists. I would love to see this in the game.
I would love to see a zone specific m3u feature
Guild Wars 1 & 2 Music as a Playlist (Help Sorting and Categorising)

Looks like I have to do this manually then I just did Guild Wars 1 music, and categorised them the best I can. Will do Guild Wars 2 music another time.
I was dying a new set of armor today and the frustration hit me again. I now exit out of the dye menu and go back into it everytime I want to save the changes I made (in case I mess it up and have to start over). I shouldn’t have to do this, the game showing you visually what slot corresponds to what part of the armor would really help everyone.
Guild Wars 1 & 2 Music as a Playlist (Help Sorting and Categorising)
in Audio

I have started creating my custom playlists by adding Skyrim and Craig Armstrong music to them. I have a complete collection of all the music from both Guild Wars games and I would like them added to my playlists.
All the tracks are by Jeremy Soule, with the title called various things. For example in the Guild Wars 1 section, I have titles called “Age of the Dragon”, “Eye of the Storm”, and “The Forgotten God”. In Guild Wars 2 section, I have titles called “The Last Great City of Men”, “Of Tides and Quaggan” and “Battle with the Tamini”. There are about 160 tracks in all.
I have to categorise them into the following playlists:
Ambient
Battle
Underwater
City
Crafting
BossBattle
NightTime
MainMenu
I was wondering if someone could help me with this? Perhaps you have a list of what Anet used? If not, my only option is to listen to all 160 tracks and try and categorise them myself.
Thanks
Should be “One They Fear” not “Only They Fear”. Thanks very much for your playlist!
Am I alone here in my thoughts ? Perhaps my suggestions are not good enough? Just say if that’s what you think
These suggestions both apply in the dye interface.
1 – Quickly undo a dye application
Left click on an armor slot dyes that piece of armor with the dye selected. Right clicking on the same armor slot, undo’s the dye application.
Why? If I apply dye to 3 armor slots but I want to undo only the last slot, the only options I have is to undo every change I have made since entering this interface or to re-dye that slot with the dye it previously had.
-
2 – Dynamic preview of dye
Hovering the cursor over an armor slot with a dye selected shows a preview of that dye application but does not apply it. Removing your cursor removes the preview.
Why? Having to remember which armor slot corresponds to which part of the armor is frustrating. My suggestion would save some frustration.

I crash 6 times a day. What can I do to alleviate this?

Xfire has been known to crash my game. Are you running this? if so, try Guild Wars 2 without this running in the background.
If you’re using xfire, close it. Just recently, running xfire crashes Guild Wars 2 for me often.
