Guild Wars 2

I am looking for 7 men (or ladies) interested in an 8 man small wvw guild. The aim is to have each person a different profession all tiny asuras running around the maps capping towers camps and whatnot. Anyone is welcome (whether NA or EU) and a team speak server can be provided for communications. At the moment the guild is not based on any server so once I can organise 8 of us we shall decide on a server. I’ve been on the European serves for a long time now and its been difficult trying to balance wvw primetimes. Now I am just looking for a good old Australian guild of any ages and to start out new on NA servers. I very much do enjoy WvW but would also like guild missions and a few dungeons here and there. Im looking forward to meeting new people and a new WvW community.

Im pretty sure you can dodge the iLeap because its obvious what the mesmer is gonna do next. Your deathshroud isnt the strongest of your abilities AND IT HAS A 10 SEC COOLDOWN so maybe you could enter deathshroud when he “12k crits” you.

I think it should look like a pretty little asura forcefield but it still should block projectiles, but take them as damage. I think (dont hate on me) that they should only be able to be placed in towers/keeps/castles as a secondary temporary defence. Like when you get to a tower to late and all you have is 40 sups to stop them.

Mesmers can get 18 seconds of retaliation if you are traited with Illusionary Persona and Confusing Cry, and they can boon share.

I love farming tpvpers in WvW even more than I like farming players with legendarys…

Well when you come up with a build, dont tell anyone. Look what happened to condition mesmer, and the upcoming bm ranger build. It goes mainstream then people call nerf and then the class is ruined and you gotta find another build.

The best tpvp/wvw players would be the ones who have experience in both sections.

I play both WvW and tPvp and I enjoy them both. You are all hating on the tpvpers yet they do good in their own section, just as you do in your wvw sections.
If you were caught out in wvw by yourself, there is the possibility you are gonna die to them. If you are in your zerg and you spot a tpvper alone, there is the possibility they will die to you, but you should have better things to do than chase 1 man.
About tpvpers complaining about thieves, alot of tpvp players use the exact same build, play style, and everything else, so why is there a need to cry.

There is no point arguing about who is the better player of the game.

With this method, you will buy anomaly off the TP and have gold left.
Regarding the low ecto price it is profitable.

The only things you dont want to see are putrid essence, leather squares, bolts of gossamer, coins and of course mystic clovers.

Just a suggestion, (a terrible suggestion) maybe, just maybe, one could take a break for a week and let the other take all. Shouldnt that split them up? But it still leaves the issue with the 3rd server with nothing to do and still takes everything from them anyway

Thieves are not meant for PVE. They are good at staying alive in wvw. That’s really about the only niche they have.

They also have good burst in spvp. Got nerfed pretty hard with mug nerf but still they can hit hard in with a single backstab and repeat it fairly quickly.

Today, I encountered an enemy theif who build their entire build to do one thing. Hit the gates to contest them.

He would run between stonemyst and our keep contesting them keeping our waypoints from being used.

The problem? No one could stop him. We had upwards to 15 players hunting him down and he would teleport/stealth/stunbreak/swiftness away. That’s just ridiculous. I know you want theifs mobile but when 15 players cannot kill him?

Stealth traps? Apparently no one wanted to use them. The idea was floated in the chat but no one bothered to buy any.

I don’t think it takes a genius to see if one player could permanently lock 2 way-points Its overpowered.

EDIT:
In case you don’t want to read;
-Keep’s and Stonemist are contested too easy.
-An minimum damage requirement is needed.
-Traps are too expensive to use on one person who can re-spawn quickly.

Please keep the discussion to those points

You see how he quoted that “Keeps and Stonemist are contested tooo easy” and ’Traps are to expensive on someone who can RESPAWN QUICKLY"? He is not exactly asking you to tell him off because they are to lazy to place a trap, READ HIS LAST POINTS!!!! They are expensive and the thief can just respawn and do it all over again, The problem is that things are contested to easily, and I totally agree with the damage minimum. What I dont like about the 30 second thing now is that they could mow a door down with 5 golems and they are already at inner before someone can say “whats going on at Bay?”

I was just wondering because my guild is about to attempt guild bounty but I’m not gonna be there

So our guild has unlocked guild bounty but I’m not 100% sure about the commendations.
What is the max per week you can earn?
How do you earn them?
Do you have to participate to earn them? (But still be playing at the same time and repping the same guild)
Do you have to be logged in to receive the rewards?

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have heard numerous rumours and the wiki is not really any help

Instead of legendary kits I wish the current legendaries would change the appearance of your kits. Like with the Predator it already turns your grenade barrage into plasma grenades. Maybe with the Flameseeker it would make them Holy Hand grenades and with the Quip some kind of firework.

The Quip actually turns grenades into streamers.

Well I don’t know about everyone else but I know many Engineers who don’t use toolkit for the wrench because of the lack of usefulness.

Which temples reward each part? Because apparently the don’t have a whole set of the same stat at the same vendor?

It’s a short, cute little name that suites an engineer asura.

I have a warrior called Gigarax! He’s my cute little bobble head warrior who flys around with hundred blades
I also have an engineer who’s focus is bombs an grenades and her name is Explosive Bunny. But she’s not meant to be a serious character

After all this talk about another profession getting a portal it is anticipating to see who gets the portal. But in all honesty, I really do think mesmers need ANOTHER portal.
Cause you know, mesmers can never have enough. Apart from enough nerfs…

I was just in Frostgorge Sound today, and I tried to teleport to a waypoint and it teleported me to Lions Arch? It also happened to me at the end of the wintersday jumping puzzle. I was about to jump into the present at the end when I got teleported to Lions Arch randomly. I am confused and annoyed and it has only just recently happened.

I thought a Wyld Hunt was where you dedicate your life into fighting the dragons. But Sylvari work better than humans cause they are not affected by corruption. They just die.
