Looking at my character select, I see I misrembered it. Each char only has 2 icons. The messy part I’m remembering is the list of all the crafting professions that char has accepted that shows up at mouse over. For example almost every level 80 I have has multiple crafting professions that show up on mouse over. It’s a minor problem but a way to deactivate them would remove that list of unused crafting professions. It might also be of use to people who have more than 2 maxed professions on one or more chars and also have multiple, non maxed professions on that char and other chars.

Yeah exactly, it wasn’t issue in the past since I had fewer characters. Now that I got like 10 toons 1 each and some repeated for the looks. I picked up crafts on one than I decided to do it on another..

Would love an option to move certain crafts to another character. I don’t mind paying for it. That way I can make a good use from the 2 extra activated crafting.

As you can see in my sig I have 9 maxed character, and 2 others for specific farms, my 9 maxed ones all have crafting on them and some repeated, so what I did to solved the mess?
On my Revenant I only added Scribe, on all my other toons I swapped the not maxed crafting to scribe, that way when I look at my toons in the select screen I can see which one have the maxed crafting, if you don’t have access to scribe then pick other craft to be the “default” placeholder.

EDIT: In my mind it seems pretty logic/clear, not sure if my explanation made sense …

Good for you, you say its logical to spend gold to max the same crafts when I don’t need more ? I’m satisfied with having all the crafting at maximum. Not going waste gold on it anymore ^^

I’m pretty sure a lot of people will agree with me. You don’t just look from your own side.

Change the crafting from the character that doesn’t have the 400, problem solved.

Not helping at all. I need to delete/disable those crafts cause they appear in character selection
When you have a lot of characters with many crafts, you will understand the need of this.

I would like an option to delete as well, because I accidentally have 2 characters with the same crafts. I keep forgetting which one was the 400 one when they added icons to appear in character selection. So this will solve mistakes like that.

They could as well let us sort the layout of Crafting Tables to be convenient for everyone. I need them to be grouped better, other people wants to group them differently. But I doubt it will happen.. lol

That’s how I would organize it also. Weapons crafting on one side. Armor crafting on the other. The 2 that are neither can go anywhere, though I would probably put jewelry in with armorcrafting.

How do you organize weapon crafting by weights anyway?

You are right, you cant organize all the weapons that way however most common ones are according to the weights. for example:

Warriors use Heavy Armor. Most of their weapons related to Weaponsmith except Rifle, Bow, Torch, and Warhorn.

I will not list every class since I know you are right, you won’t organize it perfectly but this is still the most convenient setup.

What’s properly organised though?

If it was me I’d do Armorsmith, Leatherworker and Tailor down one side, then Huntsman, Weaponsmith and Artificer on the other. Jeweller and Chef could go anywhere, but I’d probably put Jeweller with the armor crafts and Chef with the weapons (to even it out).

But then I have a friend who would be bothered by anything except putting them in alphabetical order, going left to right.

Because of weights. I have learnt my Crafting according to the weights, because it makes sense. If I want to craft something for specific class, its convenient this way.

I like compact button, and I use it all the time to arrange my inventory. Maybe because I have a big screen so I have all my inventory slots visible =)

Well as for your issue, get different bags than normal ones. Solved.

So I bought this item and I’m happy with it, yet there is something that bugs me little bit. The Crafting Stations aren’t organized properly.

Cooking and Jeweling Stations are next to each others, brilliant. Meanwhile for example Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing each one is on a side, inconvenient.

Logically you want the Stations to be organized according to the Weights.

That was my opinion, and would like to hear from you guys.

I got the infused version of Royal Signet of Doric Ring, it won’t count for the achievement. Is it intended? don’t remember how I got it though, just started working on this achievement while I had the ring long time ago.

I don’t wanna do more fractals, very bored of it :<

Edit: Nevermind I will just get it with laurels from chest of loyalty, pretty sure Anet won’t do something about it :/

Change class

What about class/race change that would reset the character level to 1 and resets the map completion, story as well ? :P

The purpose of it is simple, cause I have an unused character with level 500 professions. that I would love to use it on different class. Otherwise if possible professions transfer ? x)

Yes this is an actual issue. It happens even if it’s on your main server. It happens even if you opened the kitten dungeon/fractal yourself!

It happened when I opened fractal and other time when I joined pugs at TA.
So basically when I try to re-join the dungeon.

I’m not sure in what Arah path you are getting problems… but…

I play in very low graphics and i see all the red circles. Some of them are just too big and you need to put your camera really far to see them (As example, the enormeous areas from the nightmare flowers scattered all about tyria since tower of nightmares).
It might also happen that you are trying to watch the areas of skills that do not have a circle to watch (As example, oakhearts in queensdale got a skill that will Root everyone nearby (like 10 or 15 meters), the range of that skill doesn’t have a red circle and you will not know if you are in or out of the range, however you can just dodge if you see the enemy animation, wich requires a learning proccess for every enemy).

That’s how the game works, it’s not a matter of graphics, it’s just the way it’s.

Hmm, that’s not what I meant. If you have fought Belka before (first boss of arah P2) she sometimes throw that AOE without a red circle. Same thing for Lupicus phase 2 when he raise his hands and spread AOEs, some of them just won’t show so I’m confused =/

Not sure about Belka, however Lupicus aoes are funny because they work differently from other AoEs in the game.

I believe the Lupicus AoEs works same as a “lock on”. If you are in the area for a second but you leave it, you will get no damage immediately, but then 2-3 seconds later you will die out of the area. This is because you were “locked” when you were in the area and the actual hits of lupicus were throw after you left the area, in wich case you will still get the damage even if you left the area.
This creates a false asumption that Red circles in Lupicus are broken, however they are not broken, they just work differently. I’m not 100% sure about this theory, but since i’m playing with this in mind i’m surviving every ranged phase 2 of lupicus without troubles.

So… short story: All lupicus circles show up, some of them just lock you on and delay the damage to hit when you are out of the circle.

Edit It’s possible to dodge the “lock” part of the area if you dodge fast enough, however that’s hard to achieve.

You are probably right about the “Lock on” but Belka throws explosives sometimes without aoe is that a bug maybe?

I’m trying to understand the logic of this stupid pop up? 2 times happened to me today after I relog on fractal to repair my armor and on TA.

I’m very disappointed ANET what did I do wrong to deserve this? it ruined my day..

Hello,

I run lowest settings for best performance, but I’m having issue with some effects like AOEs that won’t show red circles and I get hit. So I was wondering if I must change some settings so I get full details or something, but I have no clue so any help is appreciated =)

I only want max details no higher quality. I only experience this on arah dungeon.

You probably double clicked the recipe inside your inventory menu instead of inside the bank inventory menu. It happens :p

No dude I double clicked it from bank tab and that character isn’t even a leatherworker..

Well I bought that recipe for my leatherworker on different character. When I attempted to put it on my bank by double click it got consumed instead of transfered into my bank. I was at vigil keep on my warrior and my leatherworker is my engineer. I wonder if anyone else had this problem?

Hello,

I personally hate that you need to vote to kick someone. In order to make a well organized group, only 1 person should be allowed to which is the party leader just like other MMO. Because there is just a lot of people that enter without reading the LFG.

In that case I find it very important that 1 person can sort out the group. Of course there will be risk in making this feature, but after all its better then vote kick. Some people can do that anyways if they have 2 accounts + computers but I can’t afford that

I hope that my idea is clear =)

It allowed me to use the recipe even though my character was weaponsmith.

Any character can learn any recipe because any character has the ability to take up that crafting discipline.

That’s your answer to that part, maybe you misread it? Since any character can change disciplines at will (for a small fee ofc), they are allowed to learn recipes from any discipline. Ascended recipes are not an exception to this rule. The only warning you get is the red text Inculpatus described (after you get the specific recipe), but this is intended feature specifically for people who like to keep more than two crafting disciplines on a single character, not a bug.

The rifle/longbow mix-up is the only bug here, and an interesting one at that. I’d send in a support ticket with the time/date (if you remember) when it occurred as it would probably help them in fixing the bug on your end before they roll out a global fix.

My characters got 2 jobs each. can you tell me how would it accept a recipe from different job if its not a bug? character A = Weaponsmith + Armorsmith, Character B Huntsman + Leatherworker. I used longbow recipe on my weaponsmith and i found later rifle discovered on my huntsman.

As to the rifle recipe, I have no idea.

You clearly didn’t read. I’m not talking about normal Recipes. Ascended Recipes got a drop down list(Normal Recipes don’t). I was on my weaponsmith and I selected longbow, then I figured out that I’m on wrong character. but somehow rifle was discovered when I switched to my huntsman.

It allowed me to use the recipe even though my character was weaponsmith. So it’s mostly likely to be a bug.

Hi

I accidentally used longbow ascended recipe on my weaponsmith, is that a bug? it shouldn’t let me use that recipe if I’m not huntsman. When I switched to my huntsman I found a rifle recipe discovered there instead. But I used longbow recipe anyways.

Please explain?
