My natural reaction to this is why should skills be expensive to purchase, if they wanted a way to drain skill points, the surefire method is add more forge ingredients purchasable with skill points.
At the very least, new skills should be tomes (class restrictions and purchase warning, of course) that you can purchase from a NPC vendor so you can at least choose which character to spend their SP with.
Immunity to all conditions for the duration. Apply all conditions that would have been inflicted and their respective durations to the warrior upon the end of beserker stance.
I like this one, represents the meaning of berserk really well.
It would be a direct nerf though unless any nice ways of skillfully using it would be introduced.I feel the game needs more things like this since everything in the game is either too straight forward, constant or passive atm.
Maybe if it isn’t strong enough, it should cleanse all active conditions as well. You could throw something in like 1% additional damage for every unique condition removed when it was activated. The trait Berserker’s Might would be a suitable candidate to attach this enhancement.
You can choose the steady build up of Berserker’s Power which is susceptible to cc, kiting and blocks or rely on a guaranteed but temporary damage boost under certain circumstances.
That sounds like a brilliant idea missing an important provision.

Any NPC that rushes to revive you when you get downed near them will do the same for toxic members. The easiest way to see watch this for yourself is the hylek near the cave of Matlal heart in Kessex Hills.
The hylek will happily let themselves be butchered by krait and sylvari then revive their enemies. All the more reason adding finishers to PvE is a point I disagree with.
Using Blurred Frenzy on a Aetherblade Striker with the electric aura will get you stunned. Conversely you will also get stunned if your Illusionary Warden hits the striker even if you’re nowhere near it.
Since the aura does no damage and therefore doesn’t show up in the combat log, I can’t tell if it’s any different to player created electric auras.
I’m not sure if this is supposed to share the same fate as not being able to dodge through static fields or warding but I certainly do not want it affecting PvE where sPvP balance can keep its filthy presence away.
When are the developers going to modify the very draconian limit to mailing people?
It’s fairly amusing that I am more likely to get banned for mailing contest and lottery prizes to guildmates than spammers who know the exact parameters or have multiple accounts to spread their distribution across or to parachute into.
As far as I can tell, the only people obstructed are legitimate players. This goes for map chat spam since they just add random letters to their messages when commanders are more likely to repeat the same message to avoid confusion.
I’d like to know which pantheon of gods did sorrows or maguuma offend to get luck like this. They’re just making up numbers now.
AoE looting is such a great QoL improvement next only to making a palatable guild UI or TP, it’s serious that good. No longer will you have to wade through the pile of dead NPCs whose individual lives don’t even approach worth reviving lying at the feet of a big bad to pick up your ill-gotten goods. The dev/s who perpetrated such an act of magnanimity knows who they are.
The only nitpick that can be said about it is that enabling AoE loot on interact doesn’t have any kind of visual cue that you’re in range to vacuum up loot. A brighter pile of sparkles or a faint ring on suitable eligible targets to differentiate loot within sight but not range would be nice.
I am very sad that the big scary guardian and thief trio from DR interrupted my T6 dust farming and didn’t show up at all when I brought some friends to break down a paper bravost.
Shows that you guys spare no effort in preventing people escape from poverty. I just want to save up for bolt.
Is there any chance the ability to craft sigils will be implemented?
It certainly didn’t appear in forum search for me so I ask this because no one benefits from having your choices limited. This perhaps runs contrary to people who adore buzzwords like “character investment”.
Nearly nine months down the track I’d really like it if I didn’t have to play mystic roulette for a sigil of generosity or superior accuracy.
For some reason, the message at the end saying your shoes have been damaged made me laugh. XD
I wish I could laugh. Being smacked in the face by an invisible hand of the market force for 14k damage in splitsecond really hurt my feelings, as an extension of my own body broke my shoes.
It also instilled a minor case of PTSD in how the beserker and molten brawlers will just lay into and bash downed players into a pulp.
The bosses are easier in phase 2, partly due to the firestorm being a pushover that no longer spews culled fire residue fields across half the ring but because the beserker no longer does a wonderfully invisible shockwave that hits you three times at once.
Pound is the shockwave attack but it’s clear that the beserker currently has two ways of using it. It’s so dreamy that I can jump over the three properly visualized shockwaves only for the beserker to shadowstep to a party member across the ring and magically hit me for 14k damage with no room for reaction.
The charged up fire shockwave has a tell, leeway for error and at a reasonable interval. As a result he’s much easier to fight in phase two since the difficulty of the entire fight solely stems from invisible or broken attacks with no visual cues, since their health and other attacks are reasonable.
When your character takes a lot of damage, usually enough to put them below 25% health, they say something like “that had to hurt!” (sylvari female, human male) or “they’ll be feeling that one for days” (human female).
The trouble is that you’re the one getting trounced when the sound clips are obviously meant for someone else, be it an enemy or a person in your party.
I’m not sure if it’s a misattribution of sound files but it’s certainly weird for your character to say things in third person (unless you’re a wuaggan piwate).
Two days ago I ran CoE path 2 and briefly lost connection during the third and last subject alpha fight when fatty had a sliver of health left. Thankfully I had a party member on VOIP so I could get back in.
No dice, I didn’t get path completion rewards nor the ‘exit instance’ button which usually pops up.
Second issue is that during a CoE path 1 run a party member dropped out during the bomb golem terminal hacking event and couldn’t get back in until everyone wiped.
CoE path 2 and 3 are just about the worse situation to get diddly-squat from, barring pre-patch fractal D/Cs. I’ve done forum search and got nothing relevant to disconnections in dungeons, what’s the deal here? Anyone else got a similar experience?
The PvP locker has inconsistencies with armor that is flat out named wrong when compared with PvE. “leather” armor in the first row is Duelist. PvP “duelist” is the PvE marksman set. I am very confident that there are more inconsistencies between PvP and PvE gear but the current behavior of previewing frustrates this.
PvE Duelist has the generic leather armor icon and for some reason, the Fiery Dragon Sword HoM skin icon is different to the FDS icon when applied to a weapon, it looks like a shrunk render than the stylized skin icon.
Crafted rascal boots miss the purple background that the rest of the rascal set has.
It disappears if you logout or go to the character screen as well. I’ve isolated the problem inside tixx, it’s some kind of interaction with the princess dolls, I believe it might have something to do with stealing boons from them.
The reduction speed is 33%, using swiftness puts you at normal run speed.
Guild Wars 1 had a veritable minefield of titles, at times it was difficult not to concuss yourself by tripping over one over the span of a character, if it wasn’t account based anyway. Survivor (when it actually works!) is always something you want to show off, as is if you’re a Savior of Tyria or a Manor Magnate.
Things like Master of Overkill or Indiscriminate Slayer sound good enough to put on your resume while you could have Ghostbuster or Killer Fisher with a modicum of creativity. Combat healer could easily have more progression tiers towards being Combat Medic, Combat Savior or a Regular Nightingale.
Lastly the orders have titles, why not let players display if they’re an Whispers Agent or a Vigil Warmaster?
I understand there’s probably a million and one places to stop Phase Retreat from getting you stuck on but I sincerely hope something like this can slip into a update without breaking the Seraph Shield Trainer in Claypool. :P
