It really doesn’t except for a few esports kids some of which were the cheaters who got punished like Naru last season for match manipulation among other things. They got off with a slap on the wrist for something that honestly they should have eaten an account ban for.

It’s weird logic. They have countless seasons where nothing is done during the season to fix issues, yet they are now starting a season when virtually EVERYTHING will change in the middle.

It’s a head scratcher, but maybe they are starting to realize how the rankings get so skewed anyway by exploiters that it doesn’t make a difference.

Dropping huge balance patches mid season is ultimately healthy. It helps ensures that the best players, those who can adapt and don’t just memorize a rotation someone else found, stay at the top. The only reason this is bad this time, is because so far some of the PoF specs look extremely overtuned, even compared to the original elite specs

Lol these “elite” specs look like a total mess… So its a good idea cause the “best” players will benefit you think? That’s pretty funny. No one benefits from zero population and broken specs man. Dropping the expac mid season will take a very low player pop and make it near non existent… At that point the rank titles mean less than ZERO.

I mentioned this in the AMA, may as well repeat it here. For a multitude of reasons, balance being just one, we don’t have any plans on doing a 2v2 (or 3v3) queue.

We’ve been talking about doing special tournaments on occasion. 2v2 would be one option for a special tournament.

Here let me translate:

We realize that the community has been asking for this and a multitude of other things forever, but to put it simply we don’t feel like doing that so eff you. Lag in PvP especiallymade matches completely unplayable the last 48 hours. rampant major lag, DCs, and crashes of the game client

Wondering if its worth logging in later or if that’s even possible. Lag and DCs have been so severe as to make the game unplayable. Has it gotten any better or ended or still ongoing folks?

We deal with the same cheaters and match manipulation garbage in NA. ANet does nothing at all. Never has never will.

2 straight ranked matches last night with the same kitten on the enemy team very openly making clear that he was paying members of our team to throw the game. He was literally laughing at us the whole time and saying yeah go ahead and report me ANet will do nothing.

I would gladly pay a subscription to be honest if it meant real regular content, bug fixes, attention to all modes of the game such as WvW, PvP, (not just some PvE and Raids their current pet) etc. The other reason I object to silly things like cowboy outfits is it destroys any illusion of immersion that there is left. The game isn’t the wild west, but each to their own I suppose. Anyhoo… I guess its all just wishful thinking.

I know they have people assigned to different areas friend but perhaps a reassignment of people assets to more important things. Then again the gemstore is the cashcow… silly me.

I personally am running Symbolic but with a longbow for range in the secondary slot. I find it works quite well as it did last season.

also don’t forget the nerf on Meteor as well that wrecks any flow there was in Fire that remained after the lava fon nerf…. you are correct these “buffs” are utterly meaningless. The nerf on Overload Air is huge. The class is now in a worse place than it was 3-4 months ago.
