Uhh… ? I main staff ele (have 3 eles that only use staves) roaming/small group in WvW and this has never been the case. Whenever I land a static field people always instantly run out. I have never seen a single person try to stay in the field for the whole 4 seconds just to avoid a 2 second CC unless they had a block (in which case the change does not effect anything). That makes sense seeing as how you will take more damage sitting inside a small 240 box than you will during that 2 seconds of being CCed. And this is assuming they don’t have some passive that activates when CCed, or have stability, or some way to teleport out (which is every class).
The only thing this change did was make it harder to land the static field during its .75s cast time, especially if you played a lot of staff ele and are used to placing it to where people run out of the field the same moment it is finished casting, plus reduced the area pressure that eles have in WvW now that the CC is 25% smaller.

Can confirm. Had a 64% win rate. Lost my first game of the season and just got shoved down further and further into the “Teams with less than 46 chromosomes” bracket.

Why can’t you simply write sown whats your problem is, instead of thinking that
everyone likes to click on random videos and watch maybe hours of stuff to find
out what you want ?
And nobody can “hack” your account to give you randomly cripple. All they can do
is play with your account, and then you can’t play at the same time.
my bad, the vids only like 1 min… but I randomly got crippled for 3 mins (plague signet puts you in combat if it takes a condition iirc) and nothing around me could have had the 3 mins and 40 seconds of cripple.
Uhhh. Yah. Wtf happened? Nothing around me had 3 mins of cripple… did a 360 in the video, the thief was out of combat and at 100% health, dolyak and guards were acting normal… ?
So I wanted to replace my Sylvari necro with an Asura necro because that Witch Hat looks so much better on Asurans! However, I noticed that I would be unable to salvage my necro’s WvW gear when HoT comes out because I am unable to put his gear into other character’s inventories to salvage. Curious why this restriction is a thing and if there is a way around it?
I have been using it all week, it has yet to work a single time. Is this just a WvW thing or am I just unlucky? PS: Anet, can you please work on magnet pull? It has only ever worked 50% of the time when out of combat, and if it does pull it doesn’t always pull them the entire way.

I plan on making a condi build that mains in bleeding, and would like some help building it. Yes I know building a build around one condition isn’t smart, but I will also be using the condi damage/duration for other conditions too, but I would like the main damage to be from bleeding.
So I was playing gw2 an hour ago, got off, played another game, then tried to re-launch gw2 and the launcher comes up as normal. I look away for ~30 seconds, look back and the launcher went away (I don’t have auto-launch on). I start it again: A message pops up saying the shortcut leads to nothing (shortened version). So I go to c:/program files/guild wars 2 and notice all I have is a third party software read-me, and a Gw2.dat that is 18.5 GB. Any help?
~Edit~ Found the GW2 .exe AppData\Local\Temp for some reason, but I can’t move the .exe back to the correct folder, so plopped it onto my desktop and moved the previous file contents also onto the desktop and it works normally. Any ideas on how to move the .exe without “permission”? (I have administrator, but it still won’t let me move it)

Ehem…..warrior…….yeah…… last time I checked balance was getting classes as close to the same strength as possible…..uhm…..ranger…. you are buffing zerk ranger…. lol….. warrior vs ranger = splat 90% of the time…. yes….. I’m really confused right now, and heal signet? Yes, I don’t like heal signet, as do 66% of the players I meet in gw2…. So come at me die-hard warrior players and keyboard warriors
By now, if I’m below 50% health and there is a nearby ally I will try to get myself down so I can just get back up with 50% health, showing how “broken (?)” ressing is…
Not sure if I will be battered or not, but this would make a party of 5 necros invincible in any dungeon run…. I see where you are going with this and I would love for this to happen to but it just wouldn’t work I would guess. This gets up 3 of your teammates every 35 seconds with 5 necros. My advice would be to predict a falling teammate and pre-cast. Or I would love it if Anet made it res only 1 person and give it a 1 sec cast time with 100 sec CD or something of the sort…
Maybe make a commander rank to go along with this? Like players can vote on the commanders preformance and next to their name (on the commander chat) they could have a rank maybe?
I would love to see not only a channel for commanders to talk and discus (not limited to borderland) but also a custom chat color for commander announcements as well would be nice so they know who’s commands they are following.
Just a little suggestion that can help/reward the commanders a bit more for their 100g ^.^
