For me it happens when I log in. It’s 1 tile smaller then I had it when I logged out. It only happens on alts who have more than 1 20-slot bag (so anything beyond the starter backpack).

It’s not random, it is in alphabetical order of the specialisation name. You can kill each mushroom once a day per account per map. That makes for 6 per day in total I believe ( 1 in VB, 1 in AB, 1 in TD and 3 in DS).

Agreed, it’s not the best system, better would have been to first asign it to the class that killed the shroom and after that they could go alphabetical. But you at least you can get it in 2 days.

I’ve only seen this happen once to someone since fractal change. I do them every day now (up until 50), and always pug. Before the change, I would verry rarely run them because the lfg looked mostly like this: “exp zerk only!”
Even thoug I know the fractals, I avoided (and still do) these groups. That’s because I’m human and make mistakes sometimes, and I don’t want to get flamed when I do.

My advice would be, don’t join the exp zerk groups and you’ll be fine. Say hello when you enter and be honest if things are unclear, most people will help you.

First things first, welcome back.

After level 80, you gain xp for masteries. You don’t get hero points any more for leveling after 80.

To unlock the masteries, you have to finish the first two story steps of HoT.

You have 400 points now, you should spend them for unlocking skills. 400 is enough to unlock all core skills except the specialisation. With 100% world completion, then you are missing 50 hero points, to fully unlock your specialisation. That means you need to do 5 hero challanges in HoT maps, since they are worth 10 hero points.

Hero points are only used for skills now, unlike before when skill points could also be used to buy things. Soul shards are used for that now.

With weapon drawn a charr ran in 2 legs… but seems beside engineer with kit drawn there are no way to keep the 2 leg run forever. While i actually want to play heavy armor charr…. ho well….

Make a warrior and have an warhorn in your of hand. Set auto attack to the speedboost skill of the warhorn and there you go.

You say you enjoy WvW and PvP. At times some PvE. So I can conclude you have mainly done that for the past 3 years. In that time, there where hardly any changes in WvW (don’t know much about PvP), at least no where near the size of PvE content. The border maps where a lot smaller. Yet you didn’t have a problem with paying 50 bucks for it back then, to play WvW….

You say that the Revenant looks cool, and that you would have made one, would you have bought or where going to buy the expansion. When people point out, that the class is playable in WvW and PvP, then the class is “not your cup of tea”….

Al what you get from the expansion, if you only play WvW and PvP has been pointed out already. It seems to me, that you did not came here for people to give you reasons to buy it (or to even play the game for that matter). You already seem to have made up your mind about that.

In the end it comes down to this:
Don’t feel the expansion is worth it: don’t buy it.
If playing the core game isn’t fun: don’t play it (perhaps take a break to come back when you feel like it).

OP is NOT regering to the drop raten, but to a bug. For the collection Modniir should drop Modniir’s Ruin, in stead it drops an item from the Champion Overlord in Kessel Hills.

This is not the only bug in the precursor collections. A lot of these are bugged.

Since this is the frist tier for Twilight, and no one can finish it, i sincerly hope that are no bugs in the second and third. Bug we’ll find out wen someone can actuele do them…

It changed. From scale 1 to 19 you need no AR. From 20 and up you do.
It doesn’t work with tiers anymore. In example: you need 8 AR for level 20 and 10 AR for level 21.

On the wiki you can find a full list of how much AR is needed for the respective fractal.

You have set this skill to auto-attack. Hold down the ctrl button and click with the right mouse button on a different skill, to set that skill to auto-attack.

I do think this system is broken. With RNG you have indeed an average, but you also have people at the high end of the spectrum and people on the low end (also explained by a dev).
The problem is, people at the low end could never get a drop, even if that is a verry low chance. Still if there’s a chance, how slim that may be, it’s not working, since people generally wan’t an achievable goal.

Just my two cents.

You need to do Honorary Krewe Member and Wrecking Ball. The repeatable achievements don’t count towards the meta, not even the first time you complete them.

If you click on the meta achievement, then you’ll get a list of achievements that count for the meta.

Good:
Wardrobe;
Account dyes;
Free repairs;
New daily system (doing fractals because of them and like it. Finished Mawdrey II because of it).

Bad:
Long breaks in LS2;
Still no real use for going for a condition build in PvE (still love my Necro’s though);
Zerker meta;
No alternative way to get a precursor (scavenger hunt where are you);
RNG.

What I would like to know, is the following. I’m in Europe, so I will use my timezone (GMT +1). The patch came live at 18:00 here, daily reset is at 01:00. Will a player who has only logged in on the 16th between this timeframe, and today after reset be on day 2 of the rewards?
And are players who logged in before and after the patch on day 1 (like I am because of this).

If so players like me who have logged in before and after 18:00 on the 16th are being punished for playing more, and that seems a bit unfair to me while the whole point of this system is rewarding loyalty. If not, then all is fine by me.

Yesterday I already logged in before the patch. Patch hit, I update and log in again. No login bonus. A friend of mine only logged in after the patch, and she did get a login bonus…

Is this intended? If so why are people being punnished for loging in before the patch?

All my characters will get 100% completion (thats the plan at least).
Side note, only 1 completed the personal story… Must do that on the others too…

Just be glad that you’re going for heavy and not light armor. Light practically only uses damask (the 5 leather isn’t worth mentioning).

There are two different things in the Story tab.

Personal Story is divided in 8 chapters. Every chapter unlocks, and is playable, every 10 levels starting from level 10.

Living World Story is unlocked when you log in during it’s window (usualy 2 weeks, starting from the release date), but only playable with level 80 characters.

Necro with wells, use Death Shroud 4, Staff, and dagger. And you’ll tag like crazy.
I prefer dagger over staf, because of the speed of the attacks.

I had 1 char where this was happening, and it never stoped. Now, this problem also occurs on an alt. This made me think, what was changed on this character.

It seems to me that the problem comes from having more than one 20 slot bag.
My first char already had more then one when it started hapening. As soon as I equiped an extra 20 slot bag (from the Haloween vendor), this started hapening to this alt.

All my other characters don’t have this problem, and they only have one 20 slot bag (the starter bag).

Windows;

Bags not full;
Not hidden;
Every bag is one row.

You have to damage them, and then the skill will become active.
Use it as soon as you can, because you kill the mob otherwise.

Same feeling as OP here.

When reading posts of people who dislike the event, i see a patern: they fail the event and that always seems to be, because of a few persons to severeva chain (in my experience a failure doesn’t occure because of a few, you can fail to severe a chain 3 times) and then the flaming comes in the chat.

The ones that complete the event on a regular basis do so because they support each other, even if a platform fails and have a good time.

So in end, support each other and have a good time, then you’re also more likely to complete the event.

Let her pick a class except elementalist because that could be to hard for a firtst timer. You make a mesmer to level with her. If, like you say, wasd is already confusing, then some vista’s are gonna be a lot fun for her.
If they are easy enough for you, you can portal her up. That saves a lot of frustation on her part.

Did you go into the Chantry of Secrets in Bloodtide Coast? There’s a POI inside that doesn’t show on the map information.
That was the last one I needed and at first could not find.

Is it possible to show what characater has what crafting profession on the character select screen?

You could for example, show the active profession icons on the bottom corner of the character portraits.

The reason for this is, that (at least for me) it’s hard to remember who has what with 8 characters.

Just a thought.

Played yesterday evening (local time), but no improvement. It lags as hell!
Playing PvE, my skills won’t respond, my pet stays in the same place while i move.
Crafting, doesn’t work, it looks like it’s working, but gaining no xp and creates no items.
Selling items doesn’t work, i can click in the items but it doesn’t respond.
I can still log out, and then can re-enter with the same char, but it’s just moments before the lag starts again.
