unplayable in WvWvW for me even with i7 at 3ghz.

cant overlock it higher though. i am still using the cooler which comes with the package. if i overclock it higher my temps wont be any good. In LA iam getting 30-20 fps mostly its 25 fps. min 13 max 30

Hello everybody, i am the owner of I7 and the game is running smooth for me until there isnt lots of players fighting a boss or WvWvW zergs, but even in dungeons its like 20 fps.
Due to this problem i cant fully enjoy WvWvW and these dragon events i would like to participate in. its unplayable, like 10 fps or 7. I have the newest drivers from nvidia. The computer should be clean, iam not sure but that shoulntd be a problem. What is more bothering me is my i7 920 t 3ghz. when i opened task manager i can see its using pretty much every core at 60 usage. Is this game so demanding that even i7 920 cant handle this game ? and of course iam not using the best quality settings in the game. i post some screenshots where you can see exactly the usage of cores.

GPU : EVGA GTX 570 SC
CPU : I7 920 2,67GHZ @ 3GHZ ( hyperthreading is off)
HDD : Hitachi hdd 256gb
PSU : Enermax 625 pro 82+ (3 or 2 years old)
Motherboard : Asus p6t deluxe v2
Memory : Corsair 4gb 1204 mhz

guys youre not the only one experiencing low fps. iam also having problem with it even wtih my i7 i cant play smooth WvWvW and dragon fights. in the past i could play it somehow but now i cant even play it because of my 10+- fps.

and i have the newest drivers from nvidia.
i also tryed to disable hyperthreading, it helped but now its useless. even without it iam still getting ridiculous performance.
The game itself is really good but i cant fully enjoy if these performance problems are driving me crazy.

Hope for fix Arenanet. At least make it more playable

hello Guys, ive been playing Guild Wars 2 since it was released. It was really amazing for me how good and awesome this game is in the beggining. However after 2 months i just got my first 80! i was really looking forward at the moment i got my first 80 level but i was quite dissaponited what to do at lvl 80? Well ok, i started doing dungeons …. 2 weeks all dungeons completed …. what next now? ehm WvWvW … 3 weeks after and its boring for me yeah boring. fighting in big zergs while your fps is below 30 even on i7 920 and gtx 570 isnt really addictive so i try to do something other. i tried PvP and i like it kind off but also its same map every time again… You know what this game is lacking off?

More pve content and more dungeons especially raids, yes raids!
its not like i want to turn this game into WoW but do you know why is WoW popular even after 7 years old? because it has a lot of things to do even at maximum level while GW2 doesnt have anything for PVE to offer beside 8 dungeons with medium or high diffuculty.
the game has more content for lower levels than for higher.

I still like playing the game but iam at the moment doing nothing just thinking what should i do now? i love still doing small events (hearts) but i feel like its useless. Griding ruins of orr is also terrible … after 5 times doing same events again and again?
Sorry for feeling it this way but i couldnt resist.
hope this game would become more enjoyable for us, 80 levels.

I love raiding too, GW2 should definitely have some raids in-game so you wont get bored on 80. NO ITS NOT COPY OF WOW!

Totally agree, Waypoints destructs the game itself! Remove them or at least make them work only in cities and villages. Its hilarious how easy you can travel through a map.

yeah, i agree it would be awesome to see an flying arrow etc but i doubt arenaNET would even consider something like this. There are many bugs in game , like if you go to WvWvW you cant even play it because of the performance youre getting. First of all they need to patch the game and add more features . But i like the idea

Hello , ive just wanted to suggest, if you could make servers day/night according to day/night in real time? i mean if i play at night there will be night in tyria and in the morning there will be daylight or mists. At 18:00 oclock there could be also sunset. and for example at noon there would be sun right above your head. Weather cycle would be also awesome.

yeah agreed , this game needs more pve content and raids . I know its pvp game but i cant enjoy game by playing WvWvW where iam having 15fps

I only use SMAA (set to “ultra”), vignette, and DPX, so this should be all you need.

I’m also running at 4x SGSSAA and forced ambient occlusion, however, so your shots may not look quite like mine. Just so ya know.

Teknobug: u serious? theres no chance any login/password details are probably out because its not virus . it doesnt even launch automatically , its just your computer who runs it imeadiately after it has been downloaded and start to install it.

it doesnt even change colours but it also adds these effects

Tried it, got non stop errors about dll’s missing from Direct X. Didnt get those errors with any other Direct X program every, so going to call “be careful what you download” on this one

hmm you just need to update the directx and launch gw2 with administrator rights , nothing to be worry about . if you would check the link i have posted here you wouldnt write here

try it at your own but i havent seen any performance hit

i have tryed on GW2

i dont know if anyone of you have tried the new SweetFXAA with guild wars 2 but it looks better . Iam just curious if its allowed to use this kind of third program application that will enhance your colour in the game and graphic. Can i get a ban if i use this?

Am i the only one whos having problems with performance on a decent rig? i get about 10-20 fps in huge battles and its getting really hard to play even at 20fps. iam using high settings not best appearance but that shouldnt be causing the problem because if i put my settings to the lowest it does nothing . no performance increase .
iam also experiencing one problem that is bothering me , after playing about 30 min in WvWvW my sound dissapeared and after 5 minutes the game freeze and i have to restart the game . Anybody experiencing issue like this? Thank you

if you will fight in WvWvW your fps may be like 20-10fps like me with GTX 570. nothing to be happy about

iam struggle to run this game smoothly in WvW , its almost unplayable here even when i set up the lowest settings in the game. Iam running the game with the newest drivers for my graphic card and processor. Anybody can help me how to increase performance in WvW?
