These big alliances always ends in some sort of Drama.
Didnt think it would be this fast, I figured a couple more months.

I never seen such open and blatant botting in such great numbers like this before.
This game is infested with them and they are not at least doing manual banning.
I broke down last night and bought pandaland, they got bots but no where near this magnitude.

I enjoy my guardian a lot but in WvW it is meh.
I am on my ranger and he is fun in WvW but prefer guardian in PvE

The Bots are everywhere telporting mob to mob
They need ingame GM’s to go around and ban them
1600 worldwide? There must be 1600 on each server with the amount I report each night.
Anet is very much about the spirit of the game.
Leveling 5 chars by doing the work of 1 is not part of their vision of the spirit of the game.
They don’t even allow simple mouse button marcos

True, but rate of fire increases as you get closer to the enemy. Your damage increases the CLOSER you are to your enemy.
Then a guardian throws up retaliation on his teammate and you are toast.

In game musketeer is called crack shot and gives the pierce and 20% recharge. The recharge doesnt stack with quick burst.

I came looking for this as well.
I do enjoy the ranger but the pet is a waste in WvW and ok in pve
I was looking to see if I could make the warrior a petless ranger.
What builds are good for this?
I wish they would do like WoW did. Pets take 80% less AOE damage.
pets get destroyed by AoE to easily, I cant micro manage them fast enough to avoid it.
This time next year, 100g will be nothing and everyone will have a commanders tag

The servers with heavy night capping populations don’t have less players during the day. They have at least equal populations during the day
That means you are outmatched. as they are organized in more timezone than you.
they will move up in rank and you will move down.
Any High pop server can organize an off time wvw group to hold the line, it just takes time to build.
Some servers come with them already and are at an advantage but as others get organized they will become more competitive.
What proof?
There has only been 1 real match up so far. where guilds really tried.
the 24 hour matchups before were just zergfest, with no upgrades and no defense.
Being organized > popualtion
if the other server WvW guilds recruited and taught others the would be up there too.
But some like being small and exclusive…they maybe good but running around taking supply camps only gets you so far…leave that to the pugs.
people dont want to organize and teach even though their server is full.

Even in Balanced PvP, there are defeatist that yell “just let them win” if something goes bad.
I seen many matches come back and win or close loss after bad starts in structured pvp.
People see one bad night and stop queueing and it gets worst.
I even seen some “competitive WvW guilds” state they dont WvW on the weekends.
Well then dont complain about the map if you are not going to queue.
Look at yourselfs not at Anet to make your server more competitive.
Coming from WWII online, I seen the night crew effects on maps and it is something the playerbase has the capability to deal with.
Start your own “breakfast club” guild and recruit to fight the night caps.
WvW is 24/7 and all these high pop/full servers have the bodies to fight back just takes some leadership and organization.
it wont happen over night but it can happen if the effort is put in.
Call out your “WvW guilds” they recruit and claim organized wvw but then dont queue and it snowballs from there.
this is why we went to only 1 week instead of the 2 week format.
Tomorrow is Friday and you will face a new opponent or not if you decide not to queue.
If Anet didnt want pvp in the puzzles, they would have given everyone the invuln buff.
but since you are flagged it is a pvp area.
not some hand holding pve area.
If you dont like WvW is sorta like open world pvp. This isnt structured pvp.
either kill or be killed
you can always pve in peace on your home server.
@DJ chest resets daily.
Dont blame DB for your loss. Blame your server mates for not queueing and helping the battle…at anytime of day. These are all high pop servers, the bodies are there the organization is not.
Wasn’t NS abandoned and left to rot by some big guilds?
yet they are managing a come back.
Any time we do mount any sort of offense, we are met with a force at least twice our number to crush us.
ET is a medium pop server and your server is high pop, you have the numbers to fight back yet you wont. dont blame ET..look at the people on your server that quit on you.

Ya, Rams will have a tough time…better to use Catas and Trebs to take down walls and doors.
Creative use of game mechanics is fine
Its 3rd party hacks (flying, teleporting etc…) that ruins a game.
Btw does using siege on their spawns do anything? isnt everyone invulnerable there?

You can level through defense.. events pop during defense. just hold the tower and you will get xp
I like the idea.
Have guild leader set a percentage.
People that dont like it can join a zero percent guild or talk to their guild leader about it.
Merge the bottom 3 servers into the next tier.
This will make the bottom servers more competitive with the next tier up as they will be able to field more W3ers.

You can spin the server mergers, as you are more concerned with players ability to have fun than a some bad press that will be forgotten if it works out for the best.
WoW lets low pop servers fester, as they do not want to merge and face some press about it.
Anyone that wants to WvW probably transferred off the server. no fun to lose all the time.
I am on Dovan’s Rest and am thinking of transferring to a higher pop.
Not because of WvW, we do have some amazing WvW guilds. but for PVE.
The server is low pop and running into a champion mob, you are on your own as the zones are sparse. On high pop realms there would be a bunch of players in the area ready to help on the champion mob.
HOD is active 24/7
use retaliation before it is nerfed.
but this is an example why retaliation is needed
