Overflow are bugged, they dont move you to a main “zone” , they move you to less populated zones now (new overflows) ….

When playing as a thief I try to mess with the other player’s mind. Nothing is more satisfying than running straight towards a Warrior, watch them pop Signet of Rage as I keep running past them. Just laughing at their persistence to kill me when I’ve done nothing to threaten them except be NEAR them.

There’s this weird misconception that in WvW every player has to kill every player. That isn’t the case at all. You don’t HAVE to kill the thief. You don’t HAVE to loot the [Large Scale] off of his/her body, let it go.

I ask, WHY do you NEED to kill the thief. If they’re spamming stealth, walk away. The main ways for them to get stealth is to Cloak and Dagger off you, or to Heartseeker through their Blinding Powder. In either case if you’re walking away and dodging Cloak and Dagger, they can’t stealth. If they’re busy Heartseekering through their Blinding Powder multiple times, you can put more distance between them and you.

It’s such a non-issue and I think it all comes down to superiority complex that is part of human nature and mixed with this pre-conditioned bloodlust to assert dominance over a complete stranger. You don’t HAVE to fight them. Don’t play their game if you don’t want to.

Walk away.

There were a whole group of players camping the location, waiting to kill everyone who wanted to get the Golem Parts. I was lucky to quickly snatch them up before they could kill me… but still they did kill me.

This is the perfect grief killing opportunity.

I think you don’t know what you’re talking about here guys, if someone love wvw then its ok, but I dont want to wait 20 hours in query because pve players that dont want to be here will farm rank they must have not want( geting rank 30 for legendary) . Most of you want some easy kills because pve players will dont know what to do in wvw …. I enjoy wvw but I dont like the way it will be connected to pve more than necessary, you forgot so fast what happened last time ?

There was option to wear costume in gw1 above armor (you had visual costume skin and you was defended by your armor) it should work here to !

GW1 had one of most balanced pvp system ever, in gw2 its bigest fail ever … I play elementalist and I say there is no balance in pvp/wvw. Pve is cool and I like it (trough I miss closed zones sometimes) Give us something like alliance battles or guild battles (12vs12)

Our guild has about 40% under 21 so I would say that more adults play GW2 but more “mature teens” play GW2 VS games like WOW

lol, I beg to differ. I’ve been kicked out of more dungeons than I can count by little teenagers in GW2. Let me give you a comparison. I’ve played WoW since the beginning of it’s existence. I’ll just say 8 years. I was only kicked by a teenager twice in WoW, and he was extremely immature. Fast forward to Guild Wars 2, and I’ve been kicked over 30 times. 20-22ish of those were teens.

Let me get this straight. You’re getting kicked, constantly, and then poll the griefers for their age? You really should stop making up stories, you’re not good at it.

Alternatively if you go around treating other people like children, how often do you think you’ll get kicked?

If you will play with random people you will learn hard way that there is a lot of kids … (70% of them are normal people but other 30% kitten me off …)

yet they have no guild OR friends that are willing to help them with this achievement at all, how strange. it’s nobody’s fault but their own for putting themselves in this situation, you want to be a loner and play an mmo by yourself then you deal with those consequences if on the other hand if you do 1. belong to a guild or 2. have friends that play also, and NONE of them will help you, once again your own fault for associating with useless people that don’t help.

i’ve had several guildies who have waited til the last minute to do those funhouse achievments, but they got helped by other guildies, why? cos thats what “we” do.

When you grow up and will need go to work and will have other duties you will understand how sad is when you pay for something but just don’t have time to complete it because at that time you will need to take additional shift/take care about kids etc. This guy just want to enjoy game and not everyone is lucky to get active guild/friends. I done event on start but now that place is totally empty and even 10 people can’t defeat every boss.

I know about those limitations. But we are fighting with them 3 event in a row. It’s not like we are fighting a group of pirates, it feels more like we are fighting a country. From lore point of view it makes no sense. (or did I miss something ? )

Anet was never big about lore. I remember in GW1 that it was the GW community who developed the lore in Tyria and Anet simply expound that their own way.

Gw1 had more story than this part of game …

Maybe removing instanced maps like in gw1 was a bad idea …. There is no real challenge in this game, we just call more zergs and somehow we lose all fun. This event show the most worse part of gw2.

Hello , we (players ) are send to fight aetherblades again and again. At some point we notice that they are stronger than all other factions together(kryta, black citadel etc). Who need pact when those guys could just simply solo all dragons. Lore question: where did they recruit so many people without anyone noticing ?

Vayne.8563 stop defending gw2, you act like this game has a random generator, but if you go outside of city you will notice that every event repeat 20 min, moobs are always in same position and drop same items. Problem in gw2 is that dev promised us a lot (I heard there will be a lot of dragon fighting and instead we get 1 dragon, we had more dragons in gw1 … ) We are not telling here that gw2 is bad game, we just fell that this game miss “end game” . We have only 2 lvl 80 maps, which is to small number in my opinion. We just miss good thing from gw1 for example: Festival hat maker (you showed him hat you did get during special event and he could make a copy for every of your character). Also gw1 was mmorpg im opinion of many people (I know you will call it corpg because world wasn’t open, but to be honest it wasn’t a big problem, many times I can’t join friends because im stuck in overflow here ….)

That guy has a very bad luck to be on low pop pvp server, most of them can’t even take keep, Im up for his cause ! Split up wvw from pve !!

He might be right, merge might help those servers. I know that some server are getting beaten hard because they have 20 players vs 50. Giving them additional 20 would increase their chances for victory.
About commander – you can always learn something from new commander and if he will be a “noob” then no one will simple follow him…
Only empty server where no one want to play don’t have queues …
Maybe you re playing high populated server or wining one but some people don’t want to play on wvw when they are greatly outnumbered, even best tactic will not help you when you can’t leave spawn…

Battleground EB Gandara vs Ring of Fire vs Miller Sound
From few days lags are geting worse and worse, we are not able to do anything. Sometimes delay to use skill is 1 -2 sec, other time our whole team (not 2-3 person but 30-40 ) is not able to do anything. From what I see all 3 sides got this strange lag ;/ !! Do something about it

Hello mission is bugged, after defeating ooze on lower deck, we see new undead ships but cannons on right side don’t spawn making this mission impossible to pass. FIX IT !

As in topic, I got problem I dont see party members on the list. I can see what they type on pt chat etc, they change color to blue but I just dont see their pictures on a team tab. Its a problem when I try to go for fractals etc.

You’re wrong I have 4 stack on ascalon tears, and I play this game 2 weeks. I think that “pro players /farmers” have 3-5 characters just for storage.

Make system that will block every bot. Why players should be punished for nothing ?

I don’t know what other players think but there should be some system protecting us (regular players) from people who afk/leave during pvp matches. Every time my team win I see that 2-4 enemies leave match. In middle of match game start to “balance” teams and people who done good job and score a lot of points are moved to enemy team and lose. It’s not fair to anyone (and before troll’s start: yes I know life is not fair). Please make some changes that will bring back hope to people who want enjoy game. Punish leavers/afk by making them not able to join any match for few hours(and if they still abuse block option of pvp for them) Maybe someone else got a better idea ?

Hello I got problem, I want to guest america(tarnished coast) but I’m on europe server (gandara). My friends from pvp guild are in europe, but my friends which I want to play dungeons etc. are in america. I wish I was able to play with my friends but changing server cost 1800 diamonds. Is there any option to guest america server or at least move 1 character from account to different server ?
