Hi Drow!
Items seem to cycle back in one to two times per year, but as Donari said, there are several things that have not cycled back in. I keep waiting for the nerd glasses to make a reappearance but so far, no dice. I’m also waiting on the white wings too.
A good site to keep tabs on is Dulfy. I recommend following her on Twitter because she seems to have the 411 on most things Guild Wars 2 and often announces when items come up for sale and/or are heading back out of the store.
Hope that helps!
NPC death glitch , i recorded the glitch … it was so funny
steam is like a virus on games, first you see it “also offered on steam” and before you know it it’s depending on steam.
luckily there are plenty of companies smart enough to avoid steam like the plague, there is absolutely no reason to use steam other then getting everything in one place.
Why these two potions are separate is beyond me…
Wasn’t there a way to turn all this annoying extra sound stuff off?
Your choices are shutting off environmental sounds, music, player made music, effects, the UI, or all sound. None of those affect minis except the ‘all’ option, so literally the only way to deal with this crap is to put the entire game on mute.
There is also the ‘spend less time hanging around the bank’ option. I am a fan of Eye of the North. Soon that should be in the guild hall where the NPCs are ideally much better placed than the ones in any of the cities.
OP – it sounds like your friend has a mini equipped, given the fact they hear the sounds wherever they go.
The “Far” slider affects your vertical height when well zoomed out. Slide it to the right to get a higher view. The “Near” slider minimally changes the height when zoomed out but greatly affects it when zoomed in. So slide that to the left if you want to see your whole body when the camera is near you.
Basically wiggle the sliders around at max zoom and when close in and you should be able to get it to a good setting. Now, if you like to fight with the camera close (I can’t, I get motion sick), I’m not sure what settings will work for you. But here is how I have it for a good view just running around AND a good character view zoomed in:
Why don’t you want to use the SMS? Extra security is actually a good thing.
I don’t like giving companies my phone number. I tend to get spam calls all the time when I do. Companies will sell your number.
A 6 digits pin code to actually play a character after loged in would have been sufficient.
I disagree with the other people responding, that sounds very annoying and if you have decided not to use an authenticator you should not be bothered ever again about it.
I do not want to be reminded later. I do not want to be remind at all.
everyone is just so short sighted.
the sales on steam would be extra profit.
the cut will be worth it.
What does steam bring to the table that you cant get from just downloading the game yourself?
Where is the option to decline this service? all I get is constant “Remind me later” or " accept" options…

Sorry to say, but there wouldn’t be anti-pet/minion rhetoric if the devs would set their AI and controls properly.

P.S.: It took WoW more than 6 years to get it right. FF14 Summoner controls are abysmal. I don’t have much hope for ANet unbotching this job.

Maybe ANet should remove a few waypoints from map completion and make them account waypoints. Discover it on one and get it on all characters.
Dungeon waypoints, world boss waypoints, those kinds. Guild missions occur at too many places, however, to really be included.
If they added the Tengu race would anyone play it?
I would. I’ve been saving a War slot to recreate Talon Silverwing…… its a very long wait.
Since Windows 10, in GREAT measure is a “reversion” (with updates) to Win 7, you “should” have no difficulty updating it. This game does NOT rely heavily on the OS, it DOES rely on the Graphics Card, the HD, and the memory. The OS exists to tell the PC what’s what (hardware). Game software is another (completely different) can of worms!!
I’ve been pretty free of Gold Sellers for quite awhile now, and all of a sudden this weekend they’re back pretty strong. (It’s our old favorite group, of course, who I can’t name due to forum policy). Expecting a resurgence of players, perhaps, with the approach of Heart of Thorns?
Whatever the reason, Go get ’em, ANet!

The same time we get Revenant we get specializations of all nine professions, including Revenant. Watch the blogs to see when they start discussing what a specialization will include, as they could be altered enough from their base professions to feel different and new.
Before you completely dead you enter down state more detail here https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Downed
“Ends on down” mean when your character downed all stacks that sigil gave you before you enter down state will be lost.
Well, if he bought the accounts on sale, it was cheaper than buying new character slots^^

Turn off camera shake if you want to actually play in first person!
I just use first person when I’m in a city anyway, o to look up close my firends’ characters, always wanted to do that!
I’m having a blast with first person view! XD
Some of you might not be able to use guild chat when you log on and may get errors such as: “You are not part of a Guild”.
Until this gets patched you can go into your Contacts page by pressing “Y” and changing your status on the top left of the window from “Online” to “Appear Offline” and then switching back to “Online”.
Sadly you’ll have to repeat this process everytime you relog/switch characters, but at least you can still chat with your guildies until a fix.
Hopefully this helps =D
Big thanks to you guys from Arenanet!
Curious how a different view makes you see all different! Now we can see all beautiful details from the world, weapons, armor, etc..
Well done!
The problem is that wping costs coins and you can’t just automatically take coins from the players. I think a better solution would be to have a respawn-area for such events and after 10 seconds they are automatically respawned there without any costs. Also when they die there should be a big button on the center of their screen for skipping the 10 seconds and respawning there without costs or delay.
