Not trying to be the bad guy here but I don’t see any reason Anet should need to repeat it. They advertised the times well before so everyone knew. I missed most of the Halloween events because I couldn’t make it and I don’t expect them to make up for it. Let’s just say that when a store has a sale and I miss it, I don’t blame the store.
A lot of people’s frustrations are directed at issues such as rampant bugs, disconnects during the final fight resulting in no loot, or the primary concern for some that, for a global game, the one time events were placed at such a time that a good chunk of the player base were not able to see them at all due to time zones.
Try being a player in the Asia or Oceanic regions and not being able to see any of these events at all. I can’t imagine you would be defending ANET if the events had be scheduled for our prime time instead of yours.
The halloween events are a invalid arguement. The only one off thing was the cinematic, which was easy to youtube. This weekend had major events placed in a smaller time frame then halloween, that a large chunk of players were completely unable to see or participate in.
Guess what? I am oceanic, and I woke up at 7am to do it.
So basically, you’re dissatisfied that you were not rewarded enough for participating in a ONE TIME weekend event? Seems like you played for the wrong reasons.

OP is forgetting that not everyone has a job and wife/family and much of the player base are still kids and teenagers who don’t have much else to prioritize over. Just because you have greater priorities doesn’t mean everyone else has the same. And no i’m not one of the ones that missed out. Just pointing out a flaw in your reasoning.
Wolves are able to howl for new wolves to spawn and help, however this can continue infinitely from my experience. I just died to a group of wolves because they kept howling continuously and new ones would spawn right in front of my screen. They should limit the number of times they can do this.
“Seriously in what game ever made is being dead more useful than alive?”
+1
I’m more concerned about the future of WvW, this match up will happen every week, with servers possibly exchanging wins back and forth. I am worried about the longevity and the actual benefit of having these week long battles every week. Seems like its going to lose its hype after a few weeks.
Your loss in the end…bit of an over reaction imo. It’s people like this that just make me cringe. lol The money lost on players leaving because they don’t agree with the change is probably outweighed by the majority of players who end up staying and increase game time. Small loss, bigger gain. Bye
lol…siege priority has already been in effect for a while now…
My ranger has 1500 range on my longbow, i’m a bit surprised as to why other classes don’t have this range? It’s so strong that it should be given to other classes to be fair. Also my guardian can completely block pathways, this is extremely OP as invaders cant even get through the gate if it is down. I think all classes should have some blocking ability too. Hell, lets just one make one super class that should do everything.
Removal of repair bills means siege is less effective. Why? Groups would just run in and suicide and take out the siege, knowing they would die but as long as they take out the siege they still win in the end. I know I would be telling people to do that. “Guys, go in take out the 2 trebs and catapult, then respawn, group up and hit the gate.”
Yes agree with this, at least let us be able to track guild members on the map.
Gamer’s today: complain when there’s not enough content, still complain when additional content is made. Can’t win.
