GL, HF to all this week! Already had some nice skirms on EB, absolutely Laugh Out Loud funny at the 3 ROS guys just trying to recap Bravost. Me and Flash served it well, right? :P

We haven’t run from a fight yet, as [AoK] and [Mmmm] + pugs will confirm.

Hmmm, we ([Tz] + few friendly) saw you 3 or 4 times trying to cap our keeps in EB last night, each time we came, you went back and escape the fight. It’s true we outnumbered a little, but SOE didn’t run back even if we outnumbered them like hell (Good spirit by the way).

Maybe it’s simply no chance and you had something else to do on this map or an other map, but to bad we didn’t fight!

I see, I see. There was 8 of us, you were a group of 3 times our numbers, no doubt IIRC. I recall trying to pull you guys to SM from Durios, to use our siege on you. I think 3-4 times may be exaggerated. everything we do is tactical, no running involved.

We’ll raid again tonight and Wednesday, be great to have another go

What is all this ‘focusing’ trash? It means nothing, all it means is that you are a sore loser, don’t get me wrong, we’re not proud winners), GH don’t want to be in this position, but we are.

In the meantime, we will just battle whoever we come across, because that’s what the WvW game mode demands – battles.

[OMNI] shifted to GH. always swore I would never leave Deso, but the time was right, and GH provides me and the guild with good fighting, and great tactics so far.

A much better server for roaming, 1v1, small scale party skirmishes.

It’s a serious issue, which needs addressing. It’s not going to be fixed by restructuring ratings though, unfortunately. IT’s the fact that Viz are a national server, they will always have the upper hand, for one reason or another. I stomached too many weeks of viz, my guild is only small, and would generally partake in small skirmishes, that is not possible when they have ZERO small groups, and just roam with 100+ to a supply camp. They are an unstoppable force that will not be affected by a rating tweak. Wether they are T1 or T7 they will roam in huge numbers and make WvW an unlikeable experience.

I missed reset last night, but have heard positive things from the guild. Hopefully we’ll jump right back up, and RoS will have jumped up, too.

Looking forward to some good battles, [OMNI] have enough people across for some small skirms now! GL one and all.

I’m not here to moan about being a small Guild, and trying to take part in G missions. However, it’d be a bit easier if the mob didn’t reset halfway through :/

We’ve had Tarban about 4 times now and never had the issue before, but tonight, we had him at around 40%, he was the last mob for our T2 hunt. There was only 6 of us doing it, so you can imagine how annoyed it got us?

We were fighting him just west of Venlin vale, by the Aethervolt lab POI, he literally started to run in the opposite direction of us (toward Karston Chambers) nd healed up 100%, then walked back to us, before re-initiating combat.

Evening all,

Experiencing some recurring issues with our Multiplay server. It’s getting beyond a joke now. We are a UK based guild but that does not mean the server has to be UK based.

I am looking to rent a 30-50 slot server, that you have personally had a great experience with. Our server has dropped 3 times this evening, that is really not great at all.

We would also like something, preferably, that we can use a domain address on. So, ‘omni.ts3.xxx’ instead of ‘123.123.123….’ if that is possible.

Any help is very, very much appreciated, and I’d like to apologise if this is posted in the wrong section.

Obviously not my account that th issue is with, but I have just this evening bought my friend a code for his B’day. He played the trial during Lost Shores event and is trying to link the code with that account.

He’s got no recollection of his password (probably my bad as I told him to make a really secure one due to the hackings etc), but when he tries to reset it, he get’s the message that it cannot be done due to him not having a code registered to his account

He has submitted a ticket but, just wanted to see if there was an easier solution. Our Spvp has gone out of the window

Things like this just go to prove that it’s always a minority (in this case a small? guild) potentially giving a whole server a bad name!

So our next Sunday evening event is set to be a great one. We’d really love big numbers for this, if you guys feel better partying up and using a separate TS3 channel to try and figure out the clues together, go ahead! Hell, it might be easier on your own, who knows.. but be prepared for a treacherous journey through 4 starter zones, snowy peaks, grassy coves and dark caves, on your hunt for the ultimate treasure of completion.

The idea of this event is that the 1st ’riddle’ will be given to you in Guild Chat at 19:00 GMT on Sunday Evening (20th), if you’re not part of our Guild then this riddle will also be posted in the Map chat of Gendarren fields. You must figure out that riddle and make your way to the area/Waypoint/POI that you think the riddle refers to. If you successfully crack the riddle, you will find 1 of either myself, James, Chris, Rikk, or Flash dressed as an ’NPC’* and with a different Guild tag [RIDL]. You must recite the last received riddle to the ’NPC’ you discover and they will confirm that you are correct, then give you the next riddle. So on, and so forth.

There are a total of 4 riddles to crack, that includes the 1st posted in Guild chat. So it’s not too daunting.

The prizes for this event are as follows..

Guild members

1st Place - 2 green mini-pets and ’Riddle King/Queen’ Guild and Forum rank.

2nd Place - 2 blue mini-pets

3rd Place - 1 blue mini-pet

None Guild Members

1st Place - 2 green mini-pets

2nd Place - 2 blue mini-pets

3rd Place - 1 blue mini-pet

If you decide to run as a party and figure this out as a group, there will be a prize for each member of the party. However, the mini-pets are down to the party to distribute.

So, that’s about it. There’s a hell of a lot of time, effort and organisation been put into this. Even if you cannot complete it, make the effort to turn up and see what you can expect from future Guild events. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

*There can pretty much be no cheating. The ’NPC’ guys will be representing another Guild and showing as ’Offline’ in Lions Arch, so you can not see their location on your contact list. If you are not a part of Omnium Gatherum, you are more than welcome to our TS3 server, just PM me for the information.

I think its shameful how obvious it is both EU servers spend most of their time trolling/flame baiting VS. Its amazing how every sence of maturity always seems to vaporise when a server hits T1. I remember when Desolation was acting like this last time, then RUIN left them, they got smacked in T1, and all of a sudden they were noble again. Now that your back in T1 the arrogance seems to have found its way back aswell.
The arrogance from Seafarer’s has been there ever since tho so thats no surprise.

People wonder why players prefer lower tiers, and this topic is one of the main reasons.

Even IMO, it doesn’t look like they are trying to hack/are hacking. Until I see pics of players inside a tower/keep/castle without the gates or walls down, I don’t believe it.

Absolute riot on SFR borders last night. We dropped to out manned at about 2:15am, had some great little skirmishes with ‘The Suspects [wvw]’, you had double our guilds numbers but our mesmers seemed to make up for that ;D

I fear it’s a case of xaoc thinking ‘well, we’re screwed anyhow, and all our population is gone.’ They’ll probably hop to another server and leave a sour tast for BT in everybody elses mouths.

It’s definitely up to AN to do something about this, and fast.

Was an absolute blast on BT borders last night, Trying to cap champs from Arbor was ridiculous, whole zerg guarding it with their lives for a good hour.

Really disappointing this morning on EB, Arbor have just exploited into Aldon’s ledge, not sure which guild, but this is bull.

ETA: Just spoke with Monster Madness, it was ONE guy that got in and capped it. So not a reflection on the whole server by any means, just raising the point.

I don’t think you should go on the server you are facing at that moment to “steal” their members. To me it’s kind of low and gives a bad impression about all of the Blacktide players. As if we are trying to convert the enemy to join us…

If you want to do this, do it on servers we are not facing at the moment, there are enough servers out there. Maybe try it in lower tiers if you really want to recruit players?

Aws, seriously? So both Blacktide and Arbor are trying to sabotage us now, how fascinating. Just had one Arbor dude trying to steal our golems from Overlook and then we have this Toglos dude fooling around, being as useful as a windshield wiper on a goat’s rear end. The thing is, they were on Desolation before the WvW reset. They had no way of knowing Desolation would be paired up with BT and that’s something you seem not to be aware of. Regardless of that, suggesting that this is somehow a form of sabotage or that it will reflect in -any- way whatsoever in the WvW score is ludicrous. There are no devious intentions behind this, I just wish this was clear to everyone.

Had some great battles in EB today. SM 3 way fights with Deso defending, literally one of the most exciting Defences of SM I’ve ever been a part of!
