Hello Gaile, how am I supposed to get the wintersday drinks throughout the year? The tree in the home istance isn’t going to be enough let’s be honest, will I have to buy them on the tp?
How does that help, isn’t it just the same as before, either I grind the wintersday events or buy them?

So there are a few achievements on the Seasoned Toymaker list that just won’t get ticked. I think it’s all the “infinite” ones: so far for me Wintersday Wonderland Mastery, Toypocalypse Survivor and The Bells of Wintersday don’t count even though I’ve completed them at least once.

Verdant Brink Map completion didn’t give me any reward.

Last story quest of HoT is not doable for me, too many bugs, I’ve been trying it’s been two hours now. SPOILER AHEAD First it’s the rifts opening in the middle of the sky, where I can’t reach them, then I can’t take flight with my glider, then updrafts don’t work. At this point I’m trying to do it with a friend and I die because once again updrafts didn’t work and get stuck on the spawn platform and he crashes, I remain stuck on that platform with no option to retry or anything (of course he can’t join back) so I have to start over once again.
I don’t know what to say, I’m so disappointed.

It wasn’t a matter of distance so much as of an italian internet provider having severe issues at the same time the gw2 log-in started acting up. As for today, I have yet to experience any issue, let’s hope it stays this way.

Italy too here, some other italian friends have the same problem while others do not.

Same exact problem here. Yesterday I was experiencing extremely high ping, today I try to log in and it won’t let me. When I manage to log-in I only get to the Character Selection screen, then the map doesn’t load.

I thought pvp meant player versus player, isn’t that what WvW is for?

Thanks to you Tech, LST and Imp! We still have lots to learn as well, we had fun and good fights, indeed roaming and team fights are a completely different matter, we shall improve. \o/

I’m terrible at dueling but quite enjoying the event! \o/ Should do this more often!

It might be because they’re no more than 20 when they’re a lot, no more than 5 or 6 is their usual. And people would think no matter how good you are, 5 or 6 against two servers and with four borderlands to take might be a problem.

Still I have to say I’m quite enjoying this match so far, I can only speak for FoW but we’ve been putting up some good skirmishes with Arborstone (both on theirs and our side), not only them erasing us with zergs 24h24. C:

Ehr I finished the first zone and couldn’t open the glorious chest at the end because I was immediately warped to the next zone! ;_; Did anybody else experience the same problem?

Kind of interesting to see how even average/high tier servers see the point here, without even experiencing the situation.
What I’m about to write is the point of view of a FoW member, we’ve always been outnumbered (maybe only the first weeks of the game have been an exception) here in the lowest tier. RoS of course can confirm that, until a few weeks ago they were in our same situation, if not worse, we’ve been sharing the lowest tier for a while now. Vabbi used to have quite the numbers and dominate us, then they tiered up and lost a lot of members, becoming almost deserted. RoS gained some numbers in the meantime and was even able to tier up. The point is that the match was still unbalanced at that time no matter what, RoS was dominating, FoW tried to keep up with them (sometimes I have to admit we did keep up quite well) and Vabbi couldn’t keep up at all, it was RARE to see them around in WvWvW and that means the game was totally unbalanced for them. Something happened then, FoW population became more active (I think a few guilds joined us even) and we were finally able to compete with RoS better, at almost the same time Vabbi population started to increase as well, probably because some guilds started to join there (Xaoc as well) and there have been almost 3-4 days of totally balanced match this week. It was the best experience both my fellow FoW mates and I have had in WvWvW so far, a balanced match with balanced numbers, I can’t even describe with words how much fun I’ve been having.
Those fly hacking videos then came up and I was quite disappointed, of course I’ve seen and reported hackers in my WvWvW experience, but they never had been so evident. After that Vabbi numbers continued to increase and reached the point where they’re outnumbering us all, both RoS and FoW, bringing the match back to where it was, sadly unbalanced. I can’t even think the situation is going to be like this for at least a month. A month of outnumbering zergs wiping everything out without the possibilities of a decent counter attack because of the evident and excessive lack of numbers. /:

Oh my that 50+ joke made my day!!! If only we had such numbers how many great things we could have done!

How humble of you Surmia, not to admit how much your numbers grew in those past weeks, while Vabbi now is almost deserted. You have the people we say you’re having, no need to deny it, we have eyes as well.
Btw, yesterday we were awesome Fow fellas, 3 ballistas and 10-15 people (very rarely we reach 30-40) made the difference! No matter what we keep fighting and believing.

I totally agree. This isn’t even the first time I’ve seen this happen. The warning is way too short, you can’t warn people that everything is going to shut down in 4 seconds or less. People do spend much time and money in sieges and such only to see all of their efforts go wasted. I mean, even just a 30 minutes warning would be appreciated, a longer one you see. I’ve already lost lots of trebuchet and an Omega Golem, not even refunds for all the efforts are given. This is really a shame, I can’t take this game’s developers seriously when situations like this one occurs almost two days a week.
Please try to fix this problem, because it is a serious and annoying one, not to mention it makes you lose the passion for the game itself.
