What is it?

Is there Condition Damage with a combo of Healing Power + Toughness or Vitality gear? That would be a viable option imo because it would lend to survivability and not waste points on something like Precision.

The prefix “Shaman’s” has Vitality/Condition Damage/Healing Power.

Make sure none of your party members are running past Hodgins when transitioning in-between burrows. If they do, the mobs tailing them will just aggro onto Hodgins when they pass by. Get everyone to run in front of the table of where Hodgins is standing, and you should have an easier time defending him.

Have you tried running AC on your LVL 80 Warrior and switching to your LVL 35 Guardian at the boss?

gw2lfg.com is a great place to find a group.

Since the new patch on AC, I assume all the players moved onto different dungeons or are now using gw2lfg.com to find a PUG. I personally find that the quality of PUG’s through gw2lfg.com are more reliable and experienced.

How much silver on average do you get each run for CoF Path 1 @ LVL 80 with no buffs?

After the new patch fixing Path 2, I noticed Warhammer Grast is missing for Path 3. Is this intentional? A bug? The rocks are impossible now >.>

This website can be used to find/form groups. It’s really effective in the current absence of an LFG tool in-game.

I agree.
I am really enjoying how the changes introduces the new mechanics for each boss, encourages teamwork amongst party members (a larger emphasis on support utilities, and coordinated play styles).

I disagree that AC is now impossible for PUG’s.

The patch is new, therefore the strategy to approach each path is slightly different. Your experience sounds similar to any group running AC for the very first time, meaning they had no idea what to expect. The same thing happened to me, I felt like I was running AC for the first time again. You can’t expect an optimal performance from your group (regardless of coordination) if they have no clue (or if they think they know) what they’re up against.

Take the Spider Queen for example.
What was the general strategy before the patch? Just stand and DPS with the occasional dodge/heal. There wasn’t anything notable about the her imo in terms of counter strategy.
Now lets look at the revamped Spider Queen.
What’s the strategy now? No initial idea, but let’s use what worked before and gauge what changed. The general change? Everything (which may seem harder to some), therefore old strategies need to be modified.

After completing all three paths, I watched the forums as they flooded with these kind of topics. Instead of lamenting over your initial failures, your time will be better spent reevaluating your approach to the revamped AC.

I’m very pleased with this patch.
