Guild Wars 2

I am Mojak, leader of Infernal Empire [IE]. We are a very casual guild that is allied with two other guilds [SOK] and [RAID]. We typically run multiple groups on Friday nights from 8pm EST to ~1am EST and then we are pretty sporadic throughout the week. We often live in the GoM Borderlands and you might see command-esk responses from Lunchmunny [SOK] or myself Mojak [IE] with our movements and objectives. We like to separate ourselves from the herd (zerg), but definitely come together when major keeps/towers (or even supply camps) need to be protected.

However, forgive me if I am not excited at this prospects as we’ve been on the server since day one and have seen numerous alliances come and go while we have remained strong with our tight knit group. I cannot tell you how many website/forums I have signed up for alliances only for them to dissipate in a week or twos time. We are more than willing to work with other guilds/groups within the borderland we’ve chosen for the night and you are more than willing to send me a message if you have any questions about our objectives although we are pretty vocal about our movements in /t or /m chat.

Am glad to see a guild taking responsibility for their members and taking action on it.

Don’t need large guilds to control anything much less than zergs. On Friday night we (alliance of 3 guilds [IE], [SOK] & [RAID]) had no issue pushing back both SF and Yak players from about 8p-1a EST in the GoM BG. The problem is truly a lack of overnight presence. There is little motivation for smaller groups to get together after the map is controlled 95% (or more) by a single server.

It is even less motivation when players are being spawn camped at ALL exits of their BG. Once I encountered that, I was done for the week.

Some great research being done. It would be nice if ArenaNet could provide the OP with some real numbers (and player expectations for Supply/Tower/Keep captures) to plug into his model for a more accurate picture.

Let’s face it. WvW imbalances are getting out of hand and making the “end game” feature of WvW not fun and useless majority of the week. Prime example would be the match ups Gate of Madness has faced the past two weeks (or more). Player morale should be diminished on the battlefield – not by scoring system numbers.

That has to be the most ignorant thing I’ve read on these forums yet. That is the same as saying “All Muslims are terrorist”.

As Davinna.2067 stated, the community that is working to rebuild and repair the reputation of Gate of Madness detest whomever is doing this. I have yet to personally catch anyone hacking and if I did they would be quickly reported with screenshots as I imagine majority of our community would do as well. We’ve lost a lot of good guilds due to this and a blanketing statement like that to a community versus a individual or even a few individuals doesn’t help. We are not the only server out there with individuals ruining the gaming experience for their servers.

If you want to blame anyone, blame ArenaNet for their lackadaisical approach to a) tracking down the root of the bug/exploit or b) not making /report usable by any server for these reporting purposes (aka clicking on the hacker and reporting them) or c) removing the orbs until they can provide a solution.

Infernal Empire has re-opened recruitment! A few weeks ago we decided to temporarily close off recruitment due to the overwhelming response of new recruits that we’ve invited since the game launched. Now that majority of the recruits have settled in to their new home we are ready to accept applications again for recruitment.

• All applicants must comply with our Naming Policy. We are not interested in the next “luukeskywaulkr”, “eleetcracker”, “Harynutz”.
• Verify if there are any additional Addendum’s for the game you are applying to join for.

We have recruited individuals under 25-years of age because they displayed the respect and maturity level required for entrance into Infernal Empire. So if you are under 25, but feel you would still make a great addition to the clan please submit an application.
