It looks far too big and bulky to me, but it also looks very similar to scarves I see all the time on people in real life. Those look uncomfortable or impractical to me too, but I guess it works for them.
It certainly look best on my asuras
When will this be released Anet? I’m having a vacation for 2 weeks starting today and I will not be able to log-in ingame. I hope it will remain available until the Jan 13 patch, oh pretty please.
I’ve received few PMs for my Red Moa named “Leeroy Squawkins” and Jungle Stalker named “Mickey Roarke”
This is the most frustrating kitten ever! Anet why!
“Tinker Belle” for my asura engineer
My asura ele, going for the fantasy wizard style. Her look is well received by lots of people.
I’m quite satisfied with my armor combination for a “fantasy” theme:
Wizard’kitten, Masquerade Shoulders, CM Chest and Leggings, Exalted Gloves and Boots (hides the extra toes)
I’ll make it brief as much as possible
Specific Game Mode
PvE
Goal of Proposal
band-aid solution for pet survivability against telegraphed attacks dealt by bosses
Proposal Functionality
make F3 [Return to Me] grant Aegis [5 secs] and Swiftness [5 secs] to pets but give it a cooldown of 10 secs
Associated Risks
cooldown prevents exploit
THIS is the reason that kept me from making a female asura. I would like to have the cabalist armor have a female asura version. The winter clothing is a good example of what I would like to see soon.
Just let condition damage and healing be able to crit also and benefit from precision and maybe +crit damage too. The reason behind is crit damage, although becomes strong when paired with a fair amount of power and precision, is too reliant on these two stats while condition damage and healing are pretty much standalone stats. Instead of nerfing zerker gear, my suggestion will balance things out and elevate other gear stats into the current zerker tier.
I also main a ranger before but she is now relegated to just doing low-mid level fractals. My engineer is now my “go to” class for open world pve, dungeons and WvWvW because damage-wise, mobility-wise, utility-wise and in fun factor, the ranger is severely outclassed.
I have a few ideas floating in my head which I want to share because I, like you, want to go back and main a ranger again.
1. Marksmanship minor traits rework – both Opening Strike and Alpha Training serve the same purpose and going by the concept of a ranger and his/her pet being one entity broken into two, these minor traits should be merged and put into Adept tier. Precise Strike, an upgrade to Opening Strike, should follow accordingly and be put into Master tier. This leaves the Grandmaster minor trait open and can be filled in by a major trait, my personal pick being Remorseless which also serves as an upgrade for Opening Strike.
2. Marksmanship major trait idea – “Puncturing Shot” projectiles ignore the target’s armor value and defense boosts provided by boons (10 seconds cooldown), this gives our ranger a periodic burst which synergizes well with the power line and Opening Strike.
3. More access to Stability – it irks me that our only access to stability is an elite (not all builds benefit from a “traited” SotW), how about giving the rangers a trait which grants stability while channeling? or tweak a few utilities to grant it?
A lot of the glaring flaws had already been addressed over and over so there’s no reason repeating them.
1. Stone Dwarves – I love playing as a dwarf and they might be reintroduced together with Primordus and the underground of Tyria
2. Largos – the game lacks in underwater content and the eventual introduction of the deep sea dragon and largos will fix that
3. Tengu – I really don’t like them aesthetically
Combat, skill based? Maybe in SPVP, but in PVE it is DPS and stack.
Even in PvP it’s stack > aoe/stun > done. And preferably zerg. It’s a real shame. It lacks all the elements for a competitive game (should have gone for a combat system like Skyrim/assassin’s creed, where you have to actually aim at enemies, couldn’t stack etc.).
GW2 does have a “real” skill based combat, try playing as gnades/bomb engineer.
On-topic:
- Transmutable armors and dyes you can apply on its different portions impressed me.
- No down-time (no need of potions to recover health and mana/energy required to use skills)
Eh, how about just apply a ceiling price to precursors so they wont exceed the X gold mark. This way, people who wants the legends have a clear and sure amount of gold to farm.
9/10 for Tyrana Shatterfury, surname fits a guardian albeit too menacing for a guard at that so I took a point off.
Gnashir Goreshanks is my charr warr’s name
8/10 simple and elegant
My mesmer’s name is Amouri Clovespiel, amour denotes love.

My main toon, Arwen Hawkeye, based from Alleria of the dota universe. She’s wearing T2 chest and shoulder, Vigil pants plus Prowler gloves and boots with a matching Golden Longbow and Quiver of Swift Flight. I want to give her an outdoor-ish look who also sport scale armor, so I dyed her with Grape Leaf , Antique Gold, Camel and Matte. Enjoy.
