Many here are complaining that thieves are OP…for the millionth time….repetition is not useful nor productive. I’m here to tell you there are MANY ways you can kill us, but I will not divulge those secrets, you must find them out for your own grasshopper. Until then, I guess all you can do is complain here & cross your fingers. Crewthief, just give it up man…move on…..let’s keep this civil and not ‘meet me after school’ kinda mentality.

ya, i’m in on this. I’ve ran a few thief only parties on my server and it was a blast. I’m on sorrow’s furnace but will transfer to maguuma when i get out of work at midnite. LvL 80 thief…full matching exotics…almost 1,000 hours play time on this toon. Seriously, send me an invite, I’ll go off on people like the face smasher I am!

Interested Activities I love the wvwvw….something satisfying about killing real characters, not in a darwinian sense but the added gratification from the heightened challenge is fun for me…..I love the huge maps, so many opportunities! That’s pretty much all i do any more…or run w/ a horde to get kp’s….sometimes just hit some pve for fun….mostly wvw tho.
Active Eastern standard time, -5 GMT. I’m a late nite person, often play 8-12 hours per day till the sun comes up.
Additional Comments I’m middle aged, disabled, and divorced so nothing to do now but game!!!

I’ve ran most of the dungeons at least once, have master craft in cooking/leatherworking, full set of matching exotic gear, collecting all the mats to make my 1st legendary weapon is my current goal atm. I’ve prolly got close to 1,000 hours played so far, lol…with no end in sight.

Thief. You get 4-5 tricks you can pull in just a few seconds, i’ve worn out my mouse pad and have onset of carpel tunnel doing a 180 to backstab MY PREY. But watching a health bar just go woooooooooooosh & drop is worth it. Also , hyena you need to move into house man.

I love this class, I’ve always liked the idea of being stealthy/covert….w/e you wanna call it….gettin sneaky behind enemy lines, doing massive amounts of damage & then seeing how long I can survive….I play LOTS of pvp/ world vs world btw….giggle…..

One of the best pvp moves a thief can do is pop ur invisiblity spell, (this is only when battling a choke point), run a bit thru the enemy, pop dagger storm spinny dizzy thing spell, and work u way back to your side….maaaaaaaaaaan, you should see the enemies drop & that will many times make a difference in the flow of the fight.

mes’s can be one of the hardest to catch, for sure….i’ve gave up on more then a few of them.

Hi, i’m a thief….and i’d like to think a pretty good one…and sometimes the internet gods smile down upon me & I just destroy everything I see…… I’ve played w/ all the different builds and setups & am pretty happy w/ where I’m at now. Well, as a sorrow’s furnace dedicated employee I am not gonna server hop just cuz the odds are stacked against me. I enjoy being the underdog, And I like alot of the people here. However, when i login to eternal battlegrounds map and there’s a zerg of yak’s bend people there spawn camping us right outside our main gate I’m not even gonna give the enemy the pleasure of 1 single kill. Enjoy playing w/ yourselves yak bend I am going to encourage every wvw player i know to spvp or pve until next week when hopefully the odds are better balanced. You will have a nice empty map to farm mats and your map completion status. I rented Dishonored for another week, and i’ll be back next weekend!! One of my co-workers owns a mexican restaurant so we had a very nice lunch, very filling!! A few hours later i let a rather large gaseous matter escape from my nether regions, and…playing an Asuran character…I instantly spouted out “Ah, high levels of toxicity!!” You had to be there, but it was pretty funny..mebbe I play gw to much, lmao.

I noticed hardly anyone on last nite late hours….the people that were on were pretty nice tho, mostly. Lots of people hopelessly trying to cap Stonemist which is probably not good stragety. No waiting que at all, just kinda meh…

We seem pretty screwed as of late. I don’t have alot of people in my guild (Just me if you don’t count the inactive guy) lol.

I do not agree nor like this thread, I’m only taking the time to post here as I oppose anyone calling someone else “dumb” or a “plague” because they do not conform to YOUR way of playing and prefer to use DIFFERENT skills then you. Let’s leave the game just the way it is and go complain about the high cost of gas or something….This thread was spam from the start.

I agree there should be an option to ignore it…until we all have enough money to buy one and there are 1,000 ‘commanders’ running around all shouting orders lol…commander should be visible to GUILD ONLY. The rest of the players DO NOT CARE and DO NOT WANT to see that icon. And to the OP…..plz warn us the next time you post a horrible video like that, not all of us are 12 years old out here.

@Nkata…It’s actually not to bad, I do the wvw not so much the pvp, it’s usually off the hook and there’s not to many kids running around screaming and freaking out like they do. Sorrow’s furnace has a pretty good player base from what I’ve seen so far. But, Tbh…i’m already kinda bored w/ it., i get outta work and can go for an hour or so then i’m off to diablo land, or battlefield, or dead island or something. GW cool mmo tho

ur gonna wanna go some tanky abilities if you wanna survive, the glass cannon builds i’ve tried are not fun, u mite get a big hit once in a while, but ur gonna die..alot…i can backstab for 3-4 k after clicking cloak n dagger then running behind them, then F1 steal skill and pretty much can tear anyone down in 10 seconds or less. And rarely die to…..i have ZERO point in the critical hits tree, all power and everything else. good luck to you.

I love my thief man…so fun…love the infiltrator stuff on wvw…run deep into the middle of the bad guys, drop some caltrops and run back to my side…then watch 50 dudes limpin around not sure where to go..lol…dats really all i gots to say

All the commanders on m yserver (Sorrowful furnace) just talk talk talk talk….know everything and pretty much just suk. Since you cant block ppl while ur in the wvw world I move to another map and then block them and come back. At least that way I don’t have to see kids freaking out cuz they’re a COMMANDER. God, i soooooooooo wanna be a COMMANDER TOO

Back when I was in vietnam, we used to put the trebuchets on top of our choppers and take charlie’s base all nite long, no big deal.

lol, wat ZLE said…..thieves are not an ez class to play, we can just do w/e we want…haha….I got caught roamin solo the other nite by 3 other dudes, and i f’d w/ them for about 10 mins, in and out of stealth…kiting them around….pop in and caltrop/cripple…..then run and stealth away again….i was lmao so hard….even did one part where i led them up a cliff, stealthed, jumped off, and came back behind them, then they killed me.
