Guild Wars 2

My understanding is the game engine is using DX9/10, but with DX12 coming out, are we to expect that the devs will boost the DX version to at least 11? I have no idea what’s involved in that, or even if it’s possible without rebuilding the core game engine, but it would be nice to use the features of newer versions.

To make it fun, they actually have to be interested in WvW without the added carrot on a stick achievements. If they are only interested in achievments, and not wvw, we cannot convince them it is fun.

As someone who doesn’t normally play WvW, I was attracted by the thought of the league structure (and, not gonna lie, the achievements, those sweet, supple achievements), I love being in there! I’m not that great at PvP, but I love helping out where I can. The more I play, the more I learn about the tactics and so the more fun it is. I can only hope that other people feel the same way when they pop in for the achievements and such.

Since the search feature in the forums are non-functional (and I’m not going through 700 pages of topics) and I don’t see a forum category for website suggestions, I’m putting this suggestion here.

I would love to see a feature on the GW2 site like that of the Halo Waypoint Service Record. It shows you your character and all the stats that are tracked. It would be pretty cool to show off our toon to other people via the web, maybe even embed my profile on other sites. Maybe even a 3D model of my toons would be nice too (we spend a lot of time and money getting our gear after all). Also, I have been asked whether I have an item in game, so it would be helpful to be able to see my inventory and/or bank contents on the web as well.

Anyone else want this type of thing to be implemented?

By the way, I’m looking for info on why the Tier 3 Cultural Armor is 119 Gold while Tier 2 is 7 Gold.

it’s not a bug, it’s a feature. it is just random. sell it or break it up and buy/craft your own gear.

Yeah, I don’t mind doing either, I just wanted to know if I should expect it to be fixed or not.

This is not for 100% map completion, but merely any sort of completion, whether it be a single area, a path of a dungeon or simply daily completion. Other that typical currency, transmutation stone or Black Lion chest key, it seems that all the gear I’ve ever received as a reward I cannot use. I don’t mean that it’s simply a higher level than me, but that the gear is for another profession. I may roll another character one day, but right now, it’s either salvage material or TP fodder.
Does anyone else have this problem, I couldn’t find another post for this specific topic. I’ll post picture proof at a later time if possible.
