This made me laugh — the engineer has a huge advantage here. If I want to dodge through a pile of mobs, I don’t have to try and tag one to get a “crit vigor” boon. I can simply flip a kit and whammo — swiftness AND vigor.

We seriously have it good with this mobility option. It’s only 10 points into the Engineer Trait line which is pretty low — and gives the bonus of +10% crit dmg.

You called it a “kit build” — does that mean a +25% passive signet would be a “signet build”?

I’d hate to lose optional perma swiftness (and optional perma vigor) for a crappy passive movement signet.

You’re acting as if they add this to gadgets you’ll lose speedy kits for the class. I think people just want more flexibility in builds that don’t revolve around kits or elixirs. Also some people don’t like swapping in and out of kits for swiftness/vigor which I can understand why since its pretty repetetive

Would you waste a slot on a signet? I am the fastest in my group. Permanent Swiftness (got used to a tempo switching my kit).

I personally would use it in pvp to counteract the combat movement speed reduction while not being forced into certain trait lines, but that is just me.

Fortunately my rifle zerker build didnt get touched, but kitten I know the feeling this patch just kicked us right in the dick for build options (which we are severely lacking) I’m finding it harder and harder to convince myself to stay when people like Raijinn get the shaft and completely blindsided by this kind of crap.

I suppose I’m going to tough it out and see the direction they chose but I’m half way out the door if they keep pulling this kind of negligence to the real issues of the game. don’t even get me started on all the farming we gotta do to get all of our sets back to par as well as Fine transmutation stones to make them look like they use too. ugh!

Agreed, the rifle 5 squeek on my engineer is the reason I mute the game.
