I really had my hopes on getting two 2-handed ones and one 1-handed. 44 tokens, and it’s only possible to get 16.

I’ve filed multiple tickets, bumped old threads multiple times, and they won’t even specify what is broken, have no public info about this, and are continuing to let people waste money on kits that do not reflect what you are getting in game.

Anet. Seriously? At least be honest and let people know something is broken.

From the dawn of time, Anet has had a difficult journey in learning what the color ‘red’ is when it comes to Charr haircolors.

Yes, it’s true, you can argue that there are cat species which are called ‘red’ that are of these burnt orange colors, but as we can also have LIME GREEN HAIR and there are no LIME GREEN or CYAN cats, I think it would be fair to allow us— the players— to have properly red hair on our cat beast race.

I was kind of excited when I saw ‘cherry’ in the list. But lo and behold it STILL ISN’T RED. Maybe you guys just need a little help, so here’s the hex colors for the swab you put in the kit, and the actual color on the hair. Just for comparison.

They claimed to fix this today.
It is not fixed for me. My charr hairs are still the incorrect colors.
With a bonus of the one I did waste a kit on before I realized it was messed up now being not what I had intended because you failed to say the colors were wrong.

So now I want a refund for that kit, and all my characters that are still wrong, if this is your ‘fix’.

They messed up all the hair colors, the poly on the faces, and the eyes. :^)

Literally every time I get to the part in Frozen Out after you defeat the Ice Beast, the game kicks me to character select. At the exact same spot, every time. I am having no connection issues whatsoever. I am getting tired of repeating this mission when you don’t even let me skip cut-scenes. Can we please get any info on when you’re going to fix this???

I was gonna add this into the original thread but the devs locked it because they don’t want to hear anyone’s ideas but their own as per usual. The fact that they don’t care that people are quitting this game in mass because of this change (including myself, I have not played since they made the change because I a disabled person can not do WvW or PvP) speaks volumes about the direction of their company lmao. I was gonna come back for Halloween but hey since when do we care about anything except gemstore and expacs and PvPeen content amirite guys? Anet you are alienating a significant portion of your playerbase and when you get valid critical feedback you plug your ears and lock the threads. These are sad, sad business practices. Put the vendor back. Keep the reward track. Stop cutting out content when you barely have any to begin with.

Yet another blatant ploy to force people to buy gems and make the game less and less accessible to poor and disabled people. Anet all you are doing is driving a significant portion of your customers away.

As if the sudden doubling of Gold-to-Gem conversion with zero deflation after over year of a very steady and predictable rise and fall around the same rate wasn’t suspicious enough, lol. This is an obvious scam.

Plus all the new content and rewards are Raids Raids Raids, which. Once again. A lot of people do not have the time or physical or mental functionality to join up with a bunch of random people they don’t know to do something intensive and stressful.

Sooo people like me are left behind for a year with nothing to do but twiddle our thumbs and wait for you to release actual things to do that we’re capable of doing that isn’t just grinding for a week to afford the next new gemstore thing that I now can’t afford even if I tried because you gate things under a limited timer that I can not possibly grind up in time for when you let the conversion rate double far beyond what is remotely physically healthy to farm.

Anet even if I had money I wouldn’t give you it because you don’t give two actual kittens about anyone that isn’t neurotypical or able-bodied.

So apparently if you use the new precursor crafting system some Legendaries have little post-creation quirks you can access…

Which includes a personal garden you’re supposed to be able to harvest from with the very first Legendary I ever made, years ago— Kudzu.

But I don’t get to have it. Because. I did it the hard way, ages ago. Annnd Anet did not make it so old players get the same benefit?

Is there any way I can actually, you know, get the same benefits that all these new people are getting when they make Kudzu orrr am I pretty-much pushed aside forever with my old Kudzu that I had to get the precursor for the miserable old fashioned way?

I know, add more salt and whatever, but I feel really frustrated that I’d have to waste my time and money making a SECOND Leaf of Kudzu to get something I feel should have been unlocked for all previous owners of the bow.

I went in with a friend and picked up every bauble they did and they got the achievement and I did not. I just wasted several hours of my life following a guide step by step and got nothing, because you took out any way for me to be able to backtrack from the end and try to figure out if I had infact missed anything, which neither of us can understand how I would as we did it together and she got the achievement and I didn’t. I filed a bug report, or tried, but there’s no proper category for this, so?? What am I supposed to do? I don’t want to go back and waste another few hours for it to still not work?? I want my achievement? I want my meta? :/

If they don’t nerf it the only way to get it is buying gold.

Well I just made Howler about an hour or so ago and was disappointed to see it not doing the effects I was convinced it was supposed to have… Googled it and here I am. Wow. Um… wow. First you take 2 years to fix the bug on my Kudzu, and now I just wasted all this time and money making Howler for it to not have Howler effects. Thanks Anet you’re doing a great job as usual.

Ah, yes… I love looking like I am wearing a thin sheet of foam on my back, flapping in the wind… In conclusion: This is ridiculous and Anet should have left it alone or given me my money back for the Black Wings I got last time. Growing really tired of this trend of them going in and butchering stuff we pay money for.

Many people so far have made points in here against this foolish ruse that I have to agree with, including but not limited to the fact that this is only going to hurt actual players and not slow down RMT. This cap is absolutely absurd. Trash items will be sold as placeholders, Charged Lodestones will have their market screwed, etc— when you remove methods, they will go to other methods and begin to destroy other things.

My Guild pools gold for each others precursors and other expensive goals in our Guild Bank regularly. We are constantly handling and transferring between each other and the bank large sums of gold. We have funded over TWELVE Legendaries this way. You do this? We may as well not play, cause that’s how my Guild plays this game and how we want to play this game: helping each other and focusing on each others projects.

I don’t want to send my best friend a chunk of gold, which happens fairly often, only to be told she can’t retrieve it— and it be stuck in limbo unable for me to take back or her to use and me or her need the money. I don’t want to be sent a bunch of Charged Lodestones and lose over 10% of my money just trying to SELL THEM because YOU STILL HAVEN’T ADDED A SECURE TRADING SYSTEM and because you think this BS is a great idea.

‘Just a week’? Sorry to say, and I know how dramatic this sounds, but I’m not going to live forever! It’s a fact that I live aware of most every day. I don’t know if I’ll be alive tomorrow much less a week from now— I don’t know if my Internet or Power will be on a week from whenever. I don’t want to WAIT a WEEK to get the pooled money my group’s ALREADY worked hard for together and has RIGHT ON-HAND.

All this looks like to me is another one of your sleazy schemes to force players to buy gems to convert to gold to get around the stupid cap. I swear Arena Net, I’ve said it many times before and I will say it again— you are running this game into the ground. I hardly want to play as it is because the NPE is TERRIBLE. I don’t want to hear this blind argument of ’It’s a FREE game! Get over it!" No. I have personally financially supported this company for nearly 10 years. But for the past two, you keep throwing your loyal and older playerbase under a bus, and I am seriously losing my patience.

As the title says. Post-reset, and yes I am 200% absolutely positive I did not already do them as it was literally their first spawns AFTER RESET. I just ran the World Boss Circuit and got Gold Participation Credit for every single one of them, and yet for some reason despite this, three of them did not give me any reward at all. I got Gold Credit, and no bonus chest, no loot chest, nothing at all from: Jormag, Shadow Behemoth, and The Shatterer. But I did get full rewards from every other World Boss.

And yes, again, before the questioning begins— I AM ABSOLUTELY SURE THIS WAS ALL AFTER RESET. So my big question here is— ARE these infact Reset-Based or do you literally have to wait an actual 24 hour period from your last kill because that is a bit hard to keep track of?? Usually I run them all together but sometimes I will miss one or two and go back later, and it has definitely been over 24 hours since I last killed Shatterer, besides.

So what’s up with this?

I think you should reevaluate your choices in altering our ability to play your game, Anet, because you advertise it as being able to play OUR way and WITH OUR FRIENDS. Well my FRIENDS completed this mission and guess what I got no credit because of your stupid level-gating. I don’t know what yall were even thinking.

Please forgive my lack of eloquence and in-depth elaboration, I am not in the best of moods and am rather upset by some ongoing issues that I and my friends have been cold-shouldered over.

Basically, we have a problem. Several problems, actually. But the first one is that you are holding a sale before you even fix the ‘fast one’ you pulled with the Gold to Gem conversion. Not all of us can slave away at farming gold all day every day and not all of us can afford to drop money on gems. Sorry to say, but you’re being awfully ignorant and disrespectful towards disabled and lower-middle and lowclass players. We exist, believe it or not, in great number— and we shouldn’t have to sit on the ‘poor people’ bench and watch everyone else have all the nice things JUST because you want to be greedy and set the bar for gold to gem so high WE can’t touch it.

You have made it completely IMPOSSIBLE for me to acquire the gems I need. The minimum Gold needed to get any Gems being 70g is absolutely horrendous. Especially considering I need 420 more gems, NOT 400 and NOT 800. You RARELY put what I need on sale and it is priced so STEEPLY normally that I can’t ever justify/afford buying it regularly. If only you hadn’t nerfed conversion, I could get what I need. But, hey, guess I’m not your target demographic.

With every update I become more and more disappointed. I play this game as a coping mechanism. . . So this is getting ridiculous, because you’re pushing me away from what used to help me. I have refunds I was never rewarded. Your Black Lion Glitching Post pre-Halloween Update ate all my gold twice and my mate’s gems and you shrugged us off when we ticketed you. I have Storm Wizard tokens I can’t do anything with since you cut out the content before I had time to finish it (how dare me have a life outside your game), I have infinite coins I’ve bought for myself and friends with real money that are collecting dust, I have duplicate King Toad skins that I slaved my butt off for only to be trash-canned by your wardrobe update. I can’t stand playing my new characters anymore because of how you butchered the trait system, and when I asked about that I got shrugged off then as well.

In 2012 this game was incredibly fun but you just keep breaking things and calling it improvement. What the heck even was this Halloween event??? You want to just copy + paste, re-texture, and play us the same story over again, but you can’t even bring back Mad King’s Dungeon. Or the actual achievement for the Clocktower.

I know my words amount to nothing and that I can expect a helping of mocking for my effort, but it is what it is. Thank you for your time and sorry for the whining. Have a good day.

The updates to the minis feature was the one thing I had hopes for in this update and they even manage to trashcan that. I just bought new minis, too. The least they could do is let you see your own and cull everyone elses.

I wasted my money getting new character slots with the desire to make new characters to play at my own pace, in a way that was fun and rewarding for me. You know, BEFORE the April “Feature” Pack (more like the April “Flop” Pack if you ask me).

Now making new characters is literally pointless for me because pre-80 characters are no longer fun to play. Why play something that is not fun? I have no reason to. I play GW2 to unwind and relax, to have fun and escape from my stressful life. Now you have made GW2 boring, miserable, stressful, and lame. I am dissatisfied that you have changed the purpose of my purchase without my consent.

Not only am I never going to use these slots, now, but I’m tempted to delete my non-80’s because you have made the new system absolutely insufferable. There is nothing FUN about being forced to grind up to a high level just to have access to basic necessities and functions I used to have at 20.

I once enjoyed a leisurely pace, meandering my way to 80 with no pressure to get there. I actually enjoyed the ride there. Now it’s just a slog of ‘UGH why can’t I just be 80 already so I can do the things I used to be able to on lowbies’.

So, yeah. No. This is not why I gave you my money, and I want it back unless you fix what you broke, please. I have given you an unfathomable amount of my money in good faith and hopes that it would be used to improve the game— not butcher it.

Judging by the mass-outcry of your players— not your randomly selected testers that are not even a part of our playerbase and therefore are not affected by long-term mechanics and the systems now in play— you should consider undoing these changes all-together and reconsider whose opinion you REALLY value.

At least remove it until you can work out how to NOT throw your valued and loyal playerbase under a BUS, perhaps.

I have personally been your loyal customer and a supporter of your company for EIGHT years. If nothing improves, we are NOT making it to nine.

I typically play on a Valkyrie CZ-17 with an internal fan and high-powered cooling pad and usually play on all highest settings with no problem. Now I can’t even load Lions Arch in medium graphics with low character load without it getting really concerningly hot and laggy.

So this is a thing that is happening to me as well on my medium OoW armor of which only the pants have been transmuted. The rest is as-is as bought from merchant. :/

Just as it says in the title. Two friends and I have tested this and the glow will not show up for female Sylvari Necromancers. Submitted an in-game bug report, but thought I’d make a topic addressing the issue, anyway. Are we the only ones or are there others experiencing this issue? I did a forum topic search and I saw someone say something about a ‘bad glow’ but I … am not sure what their definition of ’bad is, lol.
