I’ll get straight to the point. I took a break for awhile and decided to check it out again due to the expansion almost coming out. Great and all but why on earth is my ping averaging 380 while having a constant 340 ping WHAT???? Did I miss something? Did something about the servers change? I used to play on 200 to 240 ping and that was tolerable I got used to it, even mainly as a pvp player but 340 is clearly unacceptable. From the google searches I’ve done oceanic people are making it seem like 300 ping has what it’s always been on NA servers when it clearly hasn’t been.
Anyways I’m just curious if something changed that I wasn’t aware about. Sure sucks if that’s the case and 300 ping is the norm. That’s another mmo that has become unplayable in AU.

Sorry for the late reply. Ye it was overheating It’s fixed atm tho so I’m good all I did was turn down some settings and limited the fps. Thanks for your help mrstealth

Hello, been playing guild wars 2 for around 3000 hours probs 2500 of them on my laptop. It isn’t the best laptop but it can run it at a smooth 60 fps if I lower all the settings.
I took a few months break and I decided to re install it and play with my friend. After playing for I’d say 2 hours we stopped. Later that night I decided to log on and play a bit more, after about 4 – 5 minutes of playing I get a blue screen of death.

Me being me thought it was the most coincidence thing ever and didn’t care untill i relogged and it happened again bsod after 5 minutes of game time. I tried multiple times to no avail. So i searched and found out a few people also have this issue. There fix for it would usualy be taking there computer apart and replacing some parts (sorry not to bright when it comes to computers bare with me sry) Me having a laptop I can’t tear this thing open and change stuff around. So I’m here pondering what I should do next I’ve upgraded drivers reinstalled the game but nothing work, I only crash on guild wars 2 too. Any help would be super helpfull thanks.

Omw to getting a legendary. But I was wondering should I turn my t5 mats into t6 mats or just sell the t5 and buy the t6?

Hello. I’m a spvp player, and a build I use alot is the meta hambow with soldiers gear.
I want to do some dueling in os but before I go there I want to get ascended gear my quistion is.
Should I get zerk, knights or soldier ascended gear? (have no idea what works best in WvW)

Imo they should make it so if someone goes afk more then 1minute to 2minutes in solo q they get dishonourable for a day or something :P

I’m rank 33 in sPvP. Saying this not all classes are 100% fine in pvp that’s a lie. Elementalist out of the 3 has the highest skill cap but by saying this it’s not rewarding, you will be shut down by most classes and will not be able to kill some classes 1v1 ect ranger.

Necro and Mesmer are more suitable for you if you want to PvP, both classes can destroy in PvP and you’ll have much more fun, Necro’s have some crazy builds to make your opponent not even touch you while Mesmer’s can be a pain to deal with.

I can not express the frustration I’m getting from this.

Up until recently (Yesterday) I’ve been getting skill delay lag, During pvp, players would randomly start walking straight and then snap back into action, during this I cannot cast any skills or dodge attacks. It has made it impossible to pvp and super frustrating, is there any fix?

Hello. I cant seem to find the Spvp meta build. I’m new at engi and I always see other engi’s running around doing heaps of condi damange and crazy heals (Pistol/Shield). Does anyone have a link to that build I cant find it anywhere. Thanks.

Thanks for your incite. But I’ve read this before the amount of people on the forums who say “Why choose ele when i can choose”… So on and so on, is way to much. This needs to stop we get the point lol.

no, as much as you might see me post about areas that I think we need improvement, I still believe that guardians are still in a good place.

Other professions may have been over buffed and are slowly being brought back down, but guardians are still effective and do the same things they always have.

That in itself is my problem, we have not changed and remained stagnant, but that means we can still do the things we have done from the start.

It is not the end of the world yet :p

I’m honestly waiting untill we hit where ele’s are right now. Then I can see the complaints. But I can still defeat some meta warriors (Spvp before 15th patch)

Hello. I play guardian on SoS. My quistion is, this being the forums and such people tend to overact when stuff isn’t all that bad. I recently felt like doing WvW again (Mosly roaming) But alot of people are saying that guardians have been nerfed to the ground, some saying that there’s absoulty no reason what so ever to play a guardian over a warrior.

Lets face it warriors are boring and dont require much skill so I’ll pass. Now it comes down to where I was going with this.

Is it true? Are guardians just plain bad now? Or are people overreacting.

I tried everything agaist mesmer. No matter what I cant defeat them. If anyone can give me tips I would be sooo gratefull.

I’ll get to the point. What’s the best spvp build to take down 1 v 1 the warrior meta build? Can anyone help?

first major in disc depends on your grp… i run with 2-3 war warhorn, so swiftness is not a problem but you may want to consider warrior sprint

very high dmg, earthshake is never below 5k… very common to do 7-9k maxxed out at 13k last night

No I don’t think you understand I tried this and all I got was minimal hammer damage and survivability. I want a build where I can just come in destroy someone with 5k crits (if it exists) and walk out. I don’t care about surviving. If any hammer build like this exist (Saw a awesome one in WvW) Please let me know

Hello! I’m playing warrior and I’m running the usual stunlock mace/shield greatsword build. But I really love using the hammer on warrior it’s so much fun to use. Does anyone have or know a build where the dps of the hammer is insane? Please let me know thanks

Hello. I recently (Around a month ago kinda recently I guess) Made a topic about legendaries being to hard to get with all the nerfs to karma, t6, dungeons ect. Some guys replied to me just farm champs.

Well so I did, I farmed 2 – 3 hours a day in around 5 days I got 250 bags and about 100 of the other bags (wurm ect) I opened them all and I got 30 gold and around 29 t6 mats of everykind (Highest was 9 of 1 t6 mat) So I did the math and I calculated how long it’ll take me to get gift of light and gift of fortune. It was around 4 – 5 months with 2 – 3 hours of farming per day.

Ok so that’s not bad I guess but the time I achieve my goal I’ll be pretty burned out and frustrated at myself for even doing it. My quistion is alot of people say they got there legendary in 2 months and around 3 months and I just dont get it. How? Did they farm around 10 hours a day? It blows my mind and just makes me upset that my goal sunrise will probably never be completed because 2 – 3 hours of farming a day for 4 – 5 months is just not worth the farm.

So someone please help me, what am I doing wrong? Why do people get there legendaries so much faster almost at unrealistic speeds?

My personal fav ranger build – very strong 1v1 (though mes can be tricky you’ll rarely find one on your back point) able to back point and roam, very mobile. Take any elite you like. Signet of renewal is a good replacement for lightning reflexs atm.

It’s vital you use your leap finishers to combo with your healing spring to get the most from it, as well as manage your pet, and try get the raven to do blinding slash following a hilt bash, this is your burst, other wise use counteratack and evades to avoid burst and keep poison up on them as much as possible. against mobile opponents you will need to try keep cripple up on them if you want the pet to do decent dps.

Another version using some spirits I also play a lot, provides a bit more of a support at the cost of mobility. Place non elite spirits a little off point, where you will get the buffs but they wont get hit by much AoE. You can also chain fear/knockbacks to get someone off the point and immob them there with the stone spirit active and spider – capping a guardians point whilst it’s still alive is always good for a laugh

Hello. I have a issue with the legendaries with the game (Yes I know what you’re thinking another casual who sulks because he can’t get one.)

Well hear my story. I want to get sunrise it’s the only thing I want in guild wars 2 I’m willing to spend hours on end to get one but as soon as I started going for one I did a lot of research and what I found was disappointing and almost frustrating. First of all since gold making in the game is almost impossible now because of the nerfs and dungeon’s being useless now. I thought I would just farm my t6 materials Since I don’t know a way to actually gain gold anymore (Please inform me if I’m wrong.)

So this is where the disappointment comes and frustration. I spend around 20 – 30 minutes farming for elaborate totems and I only got one! I thought to myself this is weird almost impossible It’ll take months just to get 250 of one of the t6 materials needed for a legendary, So here comes the disappointing part I recently discovered t6 farming has been nerfed. I looked for a bit to understand the nerf and from what I found the best way to get t6 is to farm gold and just put up a buy order. So here comes the frustrating bit, Every way I know of has been nerfed when it comes to gold and so I turned my direction to flipping the market the best I can do is get 10 gold every 2 – 3 days That’s good but I could get way more from CoF. So since there’s no way to get t6 besides farming gold And since there’s no way to get Gold on a regularly base. Has legendaries become a joke?
