THis thread needs DEV attention! How on earth is MMR balanced??? Now that you’ve given us a “nice” view on our match history I once again get prove of what I’ve been claiming for so long. MMR hates me…
2days ago: 9 losses in a row(solo/duo), yesterday 5ish(solo/do) and then a 10winstreak(4manQ) and now again today I lost more than 15 games….
And you expect us to still enjoy this game? Fix this it’s getting beyond frustrating!!

Same issue, since only 2 days. Even had some problems not being able to log on to the forums. I logged in, got redirected to account settings, when I then wanted to come back to the forums I was still not logged. Now for some reason I finally got logged on to the forums..

Had no connection errors on my internet or what so ever. Played fine the entire past 2-3 hours and suddenly I get a random dc, dc’d 4 times more after that. Game shut down on me 3 times with it and once I couldn’t log back in. Can log in now but still insta dc when I select a character…
I really hate all the QQ over mesmer right now. It’s been 2 days and its already time to play whack-a-mole with balance. Did any of the other classes think to open their trait panel and maybe try to CHANGE their build to address mesmer instead of demanding sweeping nerfs?
This exactly. I didn’t see any change to the once patched OP pew pew’s… No we had to find a new build to counter it (how it should be).
I scrolled a couple of pages and didn’t see it yet (might’ve missed it though).
As the title says I suspect a stealth moa nerf? In pvp people can now still ress when I Moa them… Twice now an enemy got up from downed after I Moa’d his resser… Anyone else noticed?

Just went to check my mouse software and turned it upside down untill I decided I should perhaps check on software updates, did have an update and that seems to have fixed it for now. So I guess GW2’s new patch kinda interrupted the way the logitech software and GW2 were in sync before. —FIXED
Since today’s patch, my side mouse buttons on my Logitech Performance MX (the forward and back buttons you can use on the web to go to the previous site etc) will not do as they are set in my key bindings. I had them working this morning and now they don’t do anything, not even showing when I try to set them again on the key bindings… Please help me with this cause it’s quite annoying to not being able to ‘stow weapon’ or use ‘about face’ on my Mesmer in pvp.
EDIT: PS: I did test them anywhere else on my pc, aka outside the game, and they work perfectly..
This seemed to work on Windows 8.1 (latest updates): disabling “Automatically detect settings” in the Network > Proxy control panel.
Not sure if this was just coincidence, or something else was fixed. Perhaps the new launcher is more sensitive to network issues / crappy proxy detection? I had previously tried basically everything everybody else had in this thread (repair, run as admin, disable firewall/av, uninstall/attempt to reinstall).
It’s a simple setting to test out, so it might be worth a shot.
FWIW, That fixed it for me as well – I no longer have to run the launcher with -email / -password / -nopatchui.
This is on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is UNchecked
Funny thing is, I usually disable auto-detect but apparently I have gotten lax in my old age.
EDIT: This fixed the issue on all 3 computers. I think we have a winner!
I just tried it! After trying everything, even reinstalling I couldn’t even reinstall anymore… Seems that this actually fixed it since I am now back to installing the game! Ty Dirril!
I have the exact same issue…. Tried repairing the game, re-opening the launcher etc… It even got me to re-install it and now I can’t even click the “Install Guild Wars 2” button -.-
Ok so since patch dropped I’m having serious rubberbanding lags and game freezes in WvW, even when I run with an allied group of 20 with no enemies around. I never ever had such lags before not even in SM fights were I barely lagged and just had little skill lag. It’s unbearable to play like this and makes me seriously dissapointed. Please fix this- this ain’t funny anymore -.-
