Truly disappointed with this.
I have just completed one round and to be honest cannot be bothered to do any more.
Why, because the events are not rewarding, why are we not getting a couple of blooms per event completion like in Silver Wastes and Dry Top and whilst I fully understand the reasoning behind not having the mobs drop normal loot, surely it would have made sense to have the mobs have the potential to drop additional blooms.
This really is a bad advertisement to all the free to players out there and hugely disappointing to all the long term players who thought that perhaps lessons had been learned from previous ‘one off’ events.
Having exactly the same issue, I’ve even repaired the game but still cannot get in the game, on a couple of attempts I get to a loading screen but the game then crashes.
This has been happening to me as well. It also occurs when joining on another person and then a third is invited, if I click yes to let that person join, the person who invited me to join them is kicked from the party. Very frustrating for all concerned and needs to be fixed.

I am in complete agreement with the OP. I feel the entire scheduling of boss events to be ill advised and in particular the Mega Bosses. The question that has not yet been asked is what do Anet expect will happen with the next Mega Boss to be introduced if it is only available 3 times a day and EU guilds can barely organise for 1 of the attempts. If you thought Bloodtide and Sparkfly were ghost towns on most servers when the events were on shorter timers wait till you introduce a new boss using this schedule.

So bored of this now, every patch, problems with long loading screens leading to a crash and error message. Cant be too difficult to figure out where to push resources when you are loading the servers in a single location every 2 weeks.

Same here, about an hour of ok game time, then lag city and the game is unplayable for me. Its really starting to annoy me that we get these updates and I am barely able to play. Some of us cannot afford to constantly take time off work to play in off peak times just so we can see the new content.
It started happening to me as well last night and has continued after today’s patch/update. Other games run fine and I left the pc to run disc checks for several hours with no crashes. Seems it is GW2 and not our machines
I actually guested to a low pop server because my character got stuck in a loading screen in Wayfarer Hills whilst heading to do the Maw, I got in fine and decided to move to Frostgorge so I could log out and go back to my server and do some farming, guess what, I got stuck in a loading screen in Frostgorge. I then checked the timers and yes the Claw of Jormag was up. I’ll bet that wasnt the entire server population suddenly all deciding to kill the dragon.
Watching some of the low level zone group events get zerged by high level players I can only wonder what new players are thinking if they can even get close. It would certainly put me off if I were a new player and discovered I could barely do anything in a starter zone without 100 odd players descending on a few mobs I was trying to do my starter hearts on.
Well I’m getting the same error message as Ariete when I finally crash after lagging in the Fractals. I was hoping it was just a specific fractal but after limping to a second the same keeps happening.
Running a fractal right now and the lag for me is insane, I am constantly crashing out, yet I took part in group events earlier in the day with lag yes, but no crashes.
I now have 3 Chartacters stuck in loading screens on Gandara and as I type it looks like a fourth is joining them, this game is rapidly going to hell in a handbasket.

I now have 3 Character stuck in loading screens and I am getting annoyed, I used to have the same issue with LA on certain characters, if this is now going to migrate to other zones this game will be unplayable for me.
Playing on Gandara, Frostgorge when I logged in was incredibly laggy, moved to Cursed Shore which was ok, went to Malchors leap which was laggy, then ported to Frostgorge and now my char is stuck in a loading screen. Was working fine yesterday for me. The game is just unplayable in this state.
Hapened to me last night on my second character, completed 100% by exploring Rata Sum and no reward except the zone completion. I logged in and out just in case it was required and no reward
Yup, its still happening to my main, its a real problem as I she is stuck for days on end until I log on when there is a low population, problem comes when I want to go no a fractal run and they are at peak time, guess what happens then.

I noticed the same issue on the character screen last night and this evening have seen my email address in the guild roster, have check with the few guild members online who cannot see it but will check again tomorrow if more are about
I carried out a complete download and re-install of the game, had a few successes getting into and out of LA, took part in a fractal run with my main, left the instance and immediately got stuck in the loading screen again. To say I am slghtly annoyed is a huge understatement.
I have managed to get some of my low level characters in and out of LA, but my main continues to be stuck.

Happening to me as well, I cannot get my main into LA during peak hours, I’ve also tried all the repairs above and no joy. If it wasnt for the fact that its the only way to get into fractals and out of WvWvW I’d never go there again and be quite happy.
Started to have this issue since the New year, I seem to be able to rescue characters the following day but it is getting frustrating. I have tried the repair but that has not worked
