The game is unplayable in this state.

I can’t even get in the game as we speak that I get this error (7:11:3:191) which crashes my client. It happens in pvp. As soon as I am getting teleported into the arena it crashes. What can i do?

So I’ve written to the support team some days ago about an issue with Year of the Ascension Part II. The issue is that despite having more than enough achievement points needed to complete it, it is blocked at 10/11. The support team hasn’t shown up yet. Could you please give me a hand? :/

I reported this guy for verbal abuse. But of course, nothing is going to happen, because I’ve hardely seen people like this getting banned or temporary bans. What can I say, we WON the match, he still wishes me a fast death because we lost an outter gate. I feel so sad.

Same here, I was running around the map, sure that I had the 3 facets activated, they were not. In my case they disappear as I pass by a new area or a waypoint.

Please this is just my opinion, keep this topic clean. I’m eager to hear your opinions as long as they come in a grown up way.

Here some adjustments which I’d like to see.

-Allow to move while under the effect of crystal hibernation.
-Rework sword 2
-Rework energy and skills cost.
-Rework Jais Malyx and Ventari.
-Phase Traversal remove cd, is enough ending without energy, we don’t need more limits. Although 3s CD seems fair. Also make it if you use it with no target it just ports you towards the direction of your cursor.
-Jade winds to work like basilisk venom or usable from range.
-increase elemental blast radius
-Increase burst of strength range.
-Facet of chaos animation is so easy to telegraph. Make it unblockable.
-Hammer 4 reflects projectiles.

Please, just as the warrior does, allow us to move while using shield.

Really is it just me?? The game since the last 2 months has become unplayable. Here I started lagging since the beginning of the match, at the end the lags like magic suddenly expired. This a screen of the peak I reached.

Before everyone rushes to conclusions, beware, I ran the game on several different computers with different connections, I’ve used a few VPNs.

Hi, I’m looking forward to join a large PvE guild. What I bring to you is:

-2 years and half experience of the game.
-2 Classes (Ele/Heavy Class) Full ascended (1 still needs weapons though).
-Microphone and headset.
-Knowledge of the most common dungeon’s tactics and fast learning of the others.
-90Ar.

What I look for is:
-Massive use of team speak, especially in dungeons/other activities.
-Friendly environment.
-Members with good PvE knowledge.

For elementalist, Could you add a Combo Finisher: Blast to Ice Spike (staff water 2) ? Also could you rework the Scepter? Scepter is really useless as it is right now and we already have a lot of unused skills (see some conjured, elites). Can we consider even a buff to the Health Pool? Because it’s quite embarrassing low.

Like the title says, I’m looking for a guild which has a lot of users on team speak, which makes of ts a must. Please don’t hesitate to whisper me in game.

-Separate Outfit’s Top Pieces from the rest of the outfit
-Bring back the messages that told you how much time you had played (“You have been playing for 1 hour”)
-Bring back the messages that told you what team had just won something. It could be used for Esl/ToL/Go4Cup.
-Introduce messages that tells you what world boss has just spawned
-Introduce items which we can sell to the merchants for acceptable money (1 to 5 golds) I’m quite tired of the same useless trash that fill my inventory and requires me a lot of clicks (yes they broke me a lot of mouse) to get rid off.
-Introduce an equipment pack (bag) which we can use to separate armors/weapons from the rest of the inventory.
-Introduce small clouds which we can click/use to quickly switch weapons.

These are mine. I will be checking this topic, if you guys have more/different ideas just write/explain them below in a peaceful way, who knows, maybe they will listen and make us happy ^^.

If you ask me, the answer sounds kitten. ^^ It’s a simple yes or no question. Because while they finish this “system” I don’t really know what way to take. So Again, I can’t receive a more dumb answer. I can advice Mr Gray to consider what informations they leak instead, because, After they publicly announce that they will make these “changes” the question comes legit to mind. It’s dumb to announce something like this months ahead the “system” he’s talking about, and then say, “Hey but yea! we’re still working on this system! Just wait for more infos” and meanwhile the players in game don’t know which way to take.

Please consider that if I asked and if that guy in the post linked from you, asked the same, is right because we as community (and yes I’m talking of that side of community that thinks that make an announce and then ask to wait for more infos is dumb) don’t know what the hell to do. I hope that, besides my anger that clearly comes to shore reading this post, there will be more understanding towards that side of players that in this moment are still confused. —>And in this moment are represented by me.

Can I have an official response regarding, when the stats will be removed from the traits and will be moved onto armor/weapons/trinkets, will we be allowed to select new stats on the armor/weapon/gear that we already have? Because just few months ago I’ve completed a whole set ascended on my elementalist, spending a lot of money that I had took aside in all this time, if I will have to start grinding again to remake one I will be quite disappointed. Also will the legendary be updated with the new stats that currently miss?

I think that the elementalist community is the real problem, once we have something that works good and it’s getting nerfed we approve the nerf (supreme) instead of standing against it. “Eh but so people are forced to work on other builds”, without even realizing that if the elementalist community stuck with d/d is right because there is no other choice that keeps the same level of the other classes. Please Supreme you have compared the shoutbow and the d/d. Shoutbow is stronger, more supportive, more defensive, more tanky, the supportive radius is waaay larger. Warrior will be even stronger. Elementalist is getting the only supportive (with way less radius) nerfed, not that I liked the heals that I put on my friends attuning to water, dodging in water or using 5. We have a longer cooldown for something that’s less supportive compared to the others. Now almost every class is getting buffed in every way possible doing what has been doing even better. So again you can see that the problem doesn’t begin with arena net. The problem is the community.

Eternya, I think that supreme has just been trolling. If not, if you have a walk in the elementalist official thread you can understand for yourself that all your points are complete bull kitten. (well not all those you’ve been posting on the page n#2.)

I still hope that they will realize that and on the base of the fact, that, Arena Net claims to be different from others Mmos by listening to the community, makes the changes that who lives with the elementslist for a good part of the day has proposed. I can’t agree better. If I can say mine, I even think that we won’t be using the elite specialization since it seems that we’re getting forced to spec into something else.

Oh I forgot to say, my laptop is often used 14 hours x day

If you accept the advise of someone that had to look for every information about guild wars 2, games and laptops I would highly tell you to not buy anything like that.

I assume your budget is a bit low so here is advices about some laptops that should meet your budget:
Look for -Asus N56VZ. (It’s a 15" laptop, the one I currently use. Is a multimedia laptop, not designed specifically for gaming but, you will run your game smoothly around 60/45 fps depends on the map. The specs are very very good, especially for the processor. It’s very rare that you’ll experience lags by hardware issues.)
-Asus N76VZ like above but this is a 17".

You should be able with the help of some good researches to get one of the 2 above near your budget line. Just to chill you out more, mine is the cheapest version of Asus N56VZ, like I said my fps range from 60 to 45 depending on what map am I playing, I never had any hardware issue or lags related to hardware. In summer the cooling system really makes the difference and you will notice it for sure., where other laptops gets overheated this keeps the temperature perfectly fine.

I know I have written like it was marketing related and no I’m not paid by Asus lel. I just want to prevent you from buying something you may regret. Make sure that the ending letters are VZ because there is even a VM model but the specs are way lower.

It’s a problem with the setup itself. Downloading the setup from this website won’t help. All we can do is hope they solve the problem quickly.

I just found this on another forum post, and it actually worked for me!
’ve had this problem too.
I belive because of something incompatabile with the select_directory window…
Odd solution:
1) create a folder for a game
2) put a Gw2Setup.exe in it
3) change its name to Gw2.exe
4) run
in my case it begun downloading files in current directory…
(Very simple! I just changed the name of Gw2Setup.exe by right-clicking and renaming it to Gw2.exe and after i tried again i went straight to the download.)

I got your same problem. I did a clean install of windows thinking that it was my fault but the problem is still there. I tried every fix and solution possible but nothing works, I hope the staff can tell us more.

Now I’ve heard that you can prioritize the bandwidth to Guild Wars 2 via QoS. I’ve been trying to search the web and I didn’t find much and it seems rather complicated. What I need help on is how to configure QoS step by step only for Guild Wars 2 and my computer so that I can play without have to worry about the bandwidth being stolen. My router is a Tp-Link TD-W8960N.

If you could help me with this I will be forever grateful.

Wouldn’t it be more nice and fun if Rocket Boots would actually have a short flying effect? For example it could be used to jump from a lower point to an upper point! Let’s take Battle of Kyhlo for example, we could use it to jump while being under one side of the clock tower on the balcony. I’m sure there will be many other fun and nice use of Rocket Boots even in the rest of the game such WvW and PvE.
