I’ve been DC’ed several times today. I just attribute it to the free weekend extra sever load. I otherwise never have an issue. It is kind of annoying though.

Nope. I’m not using any third party software. But yeah. I dodge when i right click, even with the action cam toggled off.

I have both and like the poster above said, they are both fun. Necro is great for solo/pve /wvw though. I can’t speak to pvp since I don’t ever play that mode.

Hi everybody. As the title says, I can’t right click on anything. I dodge every time even if the action cam is toggled off. This isn’t a huge issue but i can’t bring up the mini menus in my inventory and I can’t preview anything. Is this a bug or am I missing something in the settings?

Secondly, no, you cannot use ANY button as a hot key. Try using right click as a hot key. Maybe you guys need to know what you’re talking about before you try to make fun of me.

I rebound my RMB as dodge. And I’m using a 10 year old logitech mouse. Nothing fancy there. Just use the software that’s provided with your peripheral of choice. Easy peasy.

Up until recently i read that you had to be level 80 to access your elite spec. No problem there. So i take the alts that have an elite i’m interested in and level them to 80. No problem either. Then, after purchasing HoT, i find out you need to 100% your characters traits and skills BEFORE a 60 point buy in just to try the elite! And on top of being forced to buy out five trait lines I can now only use two if i want the elite, even if it’s just to try out the weapon skill?

There are traits and skills i never would have purchased given a choice.

One thing i don’t like is having to unlock everything on the core class before being able to spend HP on the elite spec. A lot of skills and traits are rubbish and i don’t want them. Why make me buy them?

While playing a druid i noticed that i would periodically stop auto attacking (i pressed #1, not LMB) even when the mob is still alive. Also, staff skill number 2 wouldn’t fire due to “no enemy targeted” even though i had a target locked. I was using action camera. Possible targeting drop issue?

Does anyone know if there will be any lower level content added to the game with the xpac or will everything be for max level characters?

I agree. When this patch rolled out ANET should have refunded all skill and trait points instead of giving us a premade build. Especially when changes are this sweeping it would be nice to give us the chance to play around and make the builds we want.

There’s a trait to improve spirit weapon duration but not HP

I’m not easily offended. I haven’t reported anyone for foul language. TBH i haven’t seen much in game anyway. That being said though, words are a very powerful tool. They have the ability to do many things including coercing, shaming, inciting, misleading, etc. To say that the speaker/writer bears no responsibility is just false. I can’t go around saying whatever i want without consequences.

This goes mainly for attacks on people or groups. Random vulgarity i couldn’t really care less about.

I’d even be okay with making the traits account unlocked so once you unlock a certain trait line with one character it’s available to all characters. Unfortunately that won’t help with anybodys main but it will take care of any issues with rolling an alt

Yeah, you are pretty much out of luck. I wish we could though because i had made two necros of different races. One was made prior to april 2014 and one after. I had intended to delete the latter one but got them mixed up :-( Now i have a lowbie necro with no traits unlocked… oh well

we’ve all been there. i made the same mistake when i first started playing. had to learn the hard way. now i know better. but a tool tip would be nice for people who don’t yet.

Take a look tho. They finally gave asura and char different outfits for male/female. A good step IMO

I’m personally excited for the change. It’s a huge improvement. I take periodic breaks from the game but will still make time to log in for 2 minutes to ensure I unlock the content. I missed a big chunk of LS1 and now I won’t miss any LS2 under the new system.

that’s one of my favorite parts of playing a ranger type character. I love pet hunting! I wish GW2 would have more, even if they’re just skin differences.

Yes, you can disable the headgear on any outfit

I just call out the champs as i see them, wait for a few people to join, then engage the champ. then it’s their choice to come or not. if people start yelling, well, they need to grow up

I get about a 1sec cast time for skill 3 from the time i click to the time it goes off. Tested it a few times and get between .9 and 1.1 give or take.

They should let us slot our kits in place of our weapons so we can free up utility slots. A lot, if not most, engies use kits in place of weapons so why not let us slot them like weapons and maybe be able to swap between two like other classes.

the real issue here is that he wants lvl 80 rewards for completing content on a low lvl alt. if you want lvl 80 loot, run the event on your lvl 80. if you want lvl appropriate loot, run it on your alt. it’s not a problem or an inconvenience, it’s how it should be.

from what i read this is being added in the next patch.

i’ve been toying around with the combat mode mod and it’s something that needs to be added to the game. it’s so simple to use and very functional.

very good idea. i would love to see this happen. i don’t care if it’s account or character bound. either way it would be a great addition to the game.

i agree, we need mouse look. a simple toggle is all that’s needed to switch between cursor and mouse look mode. i assume most people hold down the RMB anyway so the feature seems like a no brainer.

i would LOVE to see them make the CD timer start when summoned instead of on death

The only thing with downscaling that bugs me is that we pay level 80 repair bills when out effective stats are dropped down to whatever zone we are in. Shouldnt repair costs go down aswell?

Oh and travel costs should be zone specific.

very good point. i agree that if you are downleveled to 15 then your repair and travel cost should reflect that of a 15. or at least for the waypoints they could split the difference and make the cost midway between your effective and your actual level. so if you’re an 80 in a 10 area you’d pay like a 35, etc.

do the maw in wayfarer foothills. you have the maw which is like 4 events chained then you have the wurm events right next door for an easy 3 events.

i like doing the dailies. it gives me a purpose instead of just grinding events and hearts. i would like to see them bring the tiers back tho. it was nice to get that xp for the incremental progress.

I would like to see them add tiers back just for the added xp. adding extra laurels might be excessive i think
