Greatsword Rework
To make the Greatsword function properly as a power based weapon
Functionality
GS1 >> Triple the damage, why? because with a full crit build a swing with my might sunrise does a might 1200 damage on a good day…this is against normal enemies with regular armor at level 80. With a bunker build, this does 200-400 damage. Not the GS is not a condition based weapon, so why it does little to no damage is beyond me.
GS2 >> Add an Aoe cripple cone or a knockdown
GS3 >> An evade during the duration of the cast would be nice and make sense
GS4 >> If i did not know better i would say the root was a bug, not sluggish animation. Make the knockdown super fast or don’t root us while were counterattacking .
GS5 >> A very underwhelming skill 5 … a 1 person stun for 1 second…what are we supposed to do with that? Yes with attack of opportunity it goes to a 2 second stun…even still it is 1 hard to land and 2 does very little damage with a very mediocre stun duration that is ONLY viable if you trait 30 points into skirmishing.

Pet Skill 1 Move pet – Pet goes to target location, if enemy is targeted by this action, the pet attacks that target and sticks to that target until another is selected.
Pet Skill 2 Return – Pet comes back to you and sticks by you untied ordered otherwise
Pet skill 3 Special skill – Pet uses its skill with NO CAST TIME (meaning the skill fires off instantly).
Pet skill 4 Switch pet – OR pet combo attack? Maybe depending on the combo of pets the pet leaving can use its special “leaving attack” and the pet comming in can use another combo move to support that move. The potential spike in damage is nice, and can be balanced, making pet switching a very sexy thing.
[ADVANCED IDEAS IF TECHNOLOGY ALLOWS]
Pets should be able dodge (on a separate energy bar than the ranger) and be able to tell which dangerous AOE’s they can path through and which ones that will kill them. (WvW zergs in particular)

There are none, there really are none. Other than the fact that you will have to rework shouts because of the new functionality, but that’s a bonus really, and a topic for another post.

I don’t like it :/ for me, it takes away from the character…they had this fun whimsical bromance type of thing going on, and i liked it, now its pretty well ruined.
So… were getting an apparent nerf to Spirit of ranger… it was bugged to where it healed ~420 as and they nerfed it down to ~320. (apparently it was supposed to heal 320 every three seconds but they decided against it) The second thing is rangers are getting combo fields with the other two traps. They also mentioned that they are looking at the sword chain, they said that the problem lies within how the server interacts with the skills. Lastly they said they had seemingly grand plans for ranger.
Personally i think that its going to take a really long time for things to get balanced, so I’m not going to get put my hopes up…they did not mention any of the problems people have been complaining about. (except the sword thing) but none of this is final any way.

True, I haven’t. But they’re pretty weak to conditions and can’t usually bunker a point plus they have a high skill-cap so most people who play them play them poorly. Combine that with a condition/bunker meta and you have a recipe for a net team loss.
I think you misunderstood. I love Mesmer, but I suck at Mesmer. -1 may be insufficient when I’m playing.
I know this is a joke…but at the same time i find this disturbing coming from a Dev.

I know you addressed that this function is working as intended, and what i have to say is, i never really thought this was broken, per say. However, as a ranger who has over 3,000 hours of experience, i would say this needs some tweaking. Sword is a great mobility tool, and a great evading tool, keep it as such. Give it an evade at a % chance and call it a day? If you mean for it to be an “All in weapon” make people actually fear it and not just stand letting you hit them as you make yourself wide open for a huge counter attack.
In summary, the ranger sword 1 has core flaws in its design, but can be addressed quite easily if you give a ranger who is using his sword #1 a defense as he uses it.
P.S. moving the evade on GS1 last attack to swoop is a good move…but this means i will literally never press 1 on GS ever again. It does not do enough damage to justify me auto attacking with it. Please do not nerf this weapon….this weapon needs the same damage boost your giving LB (10%) and in my opinion the evade needs to stay on the 3d swing of GS1 or be replaced with something as valuable. (REFLECT!) I really would like to keep swinging my Sunrise on my ranger

Will rangers be getting a few more ways to stealth and fight stealth? Right now i feel that a 4 second reveal on a shout is not very useful against fighting stealth.

What can I say, I have run all three of these builds. Pretty much exact traits.Trapper was my first and favorite build, great for pve dungeons and mobs, still a good go to roaming build.
Spirits, I had my run with spirits and its my best dueling build. I don’t use anymore outside of Spvp.
Build number 3 is my favorite right now as well. I did tweak it to go 30/25/15 instead of the extra 5 in skrimish.
This build is fantastic, In some situations, instead of long bow i use Axe/WH for group support. I easily get 75% crit chance with spotter and fury. I crit often and LOVE that I am still able to bring something reliable to the group with spotter. when I am in a situation for Long bow, the build is flexible and I sometimes switch spotter out for Piercing arrows when the situation calls for it. #3 has a lot of flexibility and I also recommend.
Glad you liked the builds and that you’ve had the same experience. Though i wanted to take 25 points into skirmishing as well, i figured that id rather have the extra 20% CD reduction on GS instead of the 10% flanking damage. If you math it out, the 20% CD actually gives you more damage in the long run.
With the rise of dogged march / hoelbrak rune / lemongrass warriors in wvw, why not invest in marksmanship for condition duration on your traps build? For me, I have found greater returns when going deep into marksmanship these days as opposed to deep into wilderness survival.
Well the spirit build is only for support really…i toyed alot with the runes and eventually figured out that investing into power helps more than just being unable to deal any damage what so ever. So i guess i kinda lied, you do a little damage, lol. It comes down to personal preference in the end.

Maybe post so i know someone cares i took the time to post this (other than the 50 people that asked me for my builds… <3 u guys)
We all know about the Pet Ai (That i really dont find too annoying) The root on the sword auto attack, the lack of damage on LB1 Blah Blah Blah, not gana talk about it…as far as I’m concerned this keeps rangers in check. I mean imagne if our Pet AI actually was OP…we could use Sik em, with a feline and watch a Blackgate Zerg run in fear from our Kitty >: D And it still manages to kill everyone in the zerg…Fun stuff.
So anyway, here is what i would like to see…..
GS
1 Does not do enough damage, it should do 1.5x the damage currently, or give it a faster swing. Why? because it wont makes us over powder because of the lack of attack speed on that GS swing.
2 maul should be MAUL!!!! i mean it does enough damage but…remember that combo…ill be honest 50% o f the time Maul does not land. To fix this problem…add an AOE cone? Make the cone cripple? or bleed? or both? Nerf the damage slightly to adjust for buff? Use your imagination : )
3 Good as is, maybe give it a knockdown at the end of the swoop? Too Op? well its my opinion…would be so awesome with a knockdown…
4 Somehow remove the root when you knock a Mesmer clone (lol) away…or better yet…no root at all
5 More range plz ty, NEXT

1 This attack is fancy, but functionality is … not good. Make it a more free attack like the Warrior sword 1 (i tested this) throw in a bit of dodges at the end (Like the GS) or no dodges and provide a more effective cripple
2 Good as is, if i could tweak it it would be leaping toward the target first, then backing off (Srsly why not?)
3 Keep it, i like it as is
AX
1 Good, more damage…10% increase would help, or better yet give it a bleed like SB at a 50% rate
2 The spread is ineffective, so unless you can blast them in the face your not going to do much damage with it. Why not make this attack bounce with the multiple axes where they hit? Like an auto attack x5 … nerf the bleed if you need to balance it.
3 We have a chill here…Ok…why do i get the feeling this is an afterthought? I mean it works but its kinda thrown in here…

Conclusion, i have carpel tunnel, but i really hope you A net takes these tweaks into consideration. Some are long shots, but hey a guy can dream. This was an overall what i want build, if i get enough requests, ill do a super in death trait rework on what i would like to see.

Build 2, Support Tank ranger (EVERYBODY LOVE U <3)

I gata say, this makes people like rangers…almost like they love guards but what ya gana do. Obviously this is a spirit build, and pretty well has 0 damage coming from you…but boosts your parties damage by basically 30-40% (Now THAT’S OP…sort of….) You can use this in WvW no problem in an organized group, or zerg but i don’t recommend it as you may not get very much rewards.
+Godly in groups
+keep people up forever, along with yourself
+you can soak up damage, surprisingly enough
+you can provide healing if you want, or don’t and soak damage and people still love you : D
-Little/no damage coming from you, per say
-Guardians can do your job, better if their good, worse if their not good.
-Spirits … well… are easy to kill…clumsy…basically the AI on them is not good…ill get into that in a sec
OPTIONS
I think the first thing you will notice is that you are doing very little damage in your group, but you might also be laughing alot as everything that hits you will tickle you. With a whopping 26k-28k health pool, you SHOULD never go down…at least go down first. This build is DESIGNED TO SOAK DAMAGE and provide help to your team, basically nothing else falls on your shoulders.
TIPS
Keep your spirits up, activate your F2 on wolf and fern hounds when you need a fear and a heal. Quick WvW tip, if you go down, use your #2 AOE stun, use your wolf Fear (pray to god they don’t have stability on) and you can rez off this. Your the front line, don’t be afraid to get right on in there. Use your Spirit of nature to self rez by pressing the button right before you go down.
I’m not going to lie, going to set a high skill-cap on this build. Its hard to play, hard to get used to, and very hard to do right. Really effective when done right, and can be abused in pvp if you have 2 of these rangers just to eat damage.
TLDR, your gana have to practice with this build.
Lastly, The Zerker/Soldiers GS hybrid build.
Woh Woh Woh…i know you just read Zerker in that title, and yes that means it has zerker armor…but before you start nailing me to the cross…hear me out…i did say these were 3 VIABLE builds….and i meant it.
This build is my personal favorite…mainly because its interchangeable…and it does all jobs of the ranger, but not the extent of say a tank support ranger or as much condition damage as a trap ranger, but it is my build and i have found it really rather effective all around.
10k crits on maul : )
+You can heal, you can survive, you can dish out damage
+Can easily solo champs/WvW camps Ect.
+High mobility
-You cant take as much damage as a tank, or do as much condition damage as a condi ranger
-Kind of squishy if your caught off guard (By that i mean if your AFK)
-People might hate you because you have zerkers on… (i ran out of Cons…)

You can use this build for anything, Works in fotm 40+, no complaints, Every dungeon, (Arah + the new path in TA) WvW, PvP even, though that build ill post another day.
OPTIONS
Note that i left no room for you to mess around with. (I left things out like Sigils and weapon choices on the other builds) This is my build, and i find it very effective. This build is expensive. (Divinity ruins…) You can replace them with traveler or ranger runes.
Why celestial? …. must you ask? they give you a good amount of everything, (me like)
TIPS
your not the first one in, you fit into the mid-line in a fight, if not the back line. You have a new stealth on #3, use it often…moderately low CD, you have a knock back on 4. You have a leap on GS3 and a block on GS4. Use the block to knock away 1 melee person, or to deflect everything for 4 seconds…Lets be honest, i don’t use this in melee range unless its a 1v1.
A good combo would be to hit them with an opening LB4 followed up with a LB2 for stacks of vulnerability. Follow up by switching to great-sword and hit them with a #3, then a #5 daze followed by a finishing maul. Most of the time this combo is 20k + damage no factoring in dodges, blocks toughness ect.
Alright, before i begin i want to say that i haven’t necessarily found any OP ranger builds, nor am i saying that rangers are the best class ever…far from it really. For the most part, I’m not really going to present any information that you couldn’t come up with enough time and effort put into playing ranger. (I really would like to see this read by a dev…a post from a dev would just make all of this worth it)
(What makes me a master ranger)
They say putting 10k hours into something makes you master it, well thats a load of crap honestly…but i believe i have put that much time into the ranger class as i have almost been playing him exclusively for over a year now. (That is unless you want to count my lv 30 ele and my new lv 21 warrior).
Furthermore i have come up with 3 builds that i find viable, and effective. A condition trap build, a super tank meat shield boontastic support build (make everyone love you for dungeons/wvw/FOTM 40+) and my GS zerker/knights build. Ill be posting each below here in a sec.
1st build, Trap ranger
(uses)
I find this build useful for AOE damage since were lacking in that department. I ran this a lot and quite frankly i would still run it since it is really quite good. This might be the easiest to play and the most fun to play for rangers out there. Great for dungeons, and PvE.
+survivalist build
+high condition damage
+Provides a low cool down fire AOE
-Traps are avoidable
-provides little for your team besides fields
-No upfront burst damage
OPTIONS
Feel free to switch out the S/wh for an Ax/Torch , this build is really loose and you can explore with it. (which is why its a good all around build. Also feel free to take out toughness for vitality if your feeling too squishy. You can have up to 23k health and do a crap ton of condition damage.
PLAYING TIPS
keep your distance, SPAM EAGLE F2! (DON’T FORGET ABOUT YOUR PET!) SB is your main damage source along with traps, so basically spam your 1/2, use your 3 to evade often instead of actually evading, 4 to cripple, 5 to stun, easy easy easy. Your sword will get you out of trouble, just switch to it and 2 out of there. Ill get into the sword mechanics later, but for all these builds i assume you have auto target OFF so you can use your sword 2 (and Gs3) for movement.

How about birds are able to fly up and reach enemies above walls in WvW… i honestly don’t think its too much to ask for birds flying higher…

If the team found a mechanic in the game that simply was not working or holding the game back, would they fix that mechanic?
I honestly would like to believe that the DEVs care about this kind of stuff, however there are things in the came holding it back. Class balance is one of them, more specifically, build balance. For example, the ranger class i would imagine to be a cross between a thief and a warrior, especially with a sword or great sword, however the DPS on the GS just does not come any where near the reliability that a warrior or thief has. Not to mention we do know the warrior/ele classes are unbalanced in terms of how well the classes were put together.
What im getting at is there is ALOT of potential in all the classes, ranger even more so. The necro could also use some buffs as well. Warrior and DD ele could be toned down or left the way they are if you toned every other class up to level ground.
Other issues would involve content like teq, and guild missions. I have a very good guild that can do guild missions quickly, easily and efficiently. However, others are not as lucky as me. I am on a server that has not been able to kill teq…at one point i was the only one there at his event. Don’t get me wrong, i love his fight but he simply as too much health. By that i mean, he should have 50% of his health or tack on another 15 minutes to the fight. The fight remains hard, but it is still DOABLE. Why even time these bosses any way? Why not just make them super strong? Other things already mentioned involves the legendary process…its challenging yes but the money grind gets boring…. been there done that.
I would like to leave off on a good note. GW2 has definably been a fresh of breath air…i cant thank you guys enough for doing a great job creating an immersible world that keeps me comming back for more every day and even more when new content comes out (will be freaking out like a fan girl on October 15th). If you fixed some simple things, this game could trump out WoW.
I think you just took a simple concept and made it a bit more complex. Flipping is buying low selling high. Its not hard…and if you know how, involves little to no risk.
Its simple because i have made over 800g this way, and i consider it picking up free money people throw away.

You were trying to prove how “super risky” it is to play with precursors and I simply explained to you that playing with precursors to some people is like playing with a lower price market to you. Considering there are so few precursors being put on the TP, it’s not a big deal for some people to mess with them.
It is super risky…and anyone that thinks it is not super risky most likely does not have the money to buy a single precursor let alone determine their price. Again, if you can’t name any of these people :/ you gots no proof.

Why am i probably right: I work the market (500k pages of buying history) and i observe trends. Its fairly easy to predict weather an item will go up and down…but in the case of precursors, there really is no predicting, that’s why i stay away from them. If you want my advice, stay away from them so they would go down. The market goes up and down, like any other market.
TLDR, stop raging, market is fine, lemmings are buying precursors cuz they are worried of price increases, K thx bye.
I know people who can afford to spend gold on precursors like you can afford spending 2 silver for a repair. Yes, some of them are spending real money to get gold and yes – that makes your topic completely invalid. K thx bye.

I think you mean 500k items, not pages. Cause that would be 5 million items. Which, while possible, seems mighty high.
Wish you were right…but you are wrong… i really do mean 500,000 pages :/ i really wish they had a delete history button, takes forever to load.
As i watched all the rangers post about precursors, i really wouldn’t help and laugh really. The truth is, the market is fine, and there are no manipulators. Why? because manipulating items worth huge sums of gold is risky, and anyone who knows anything about the market, high risk = bad investment. It is much easier to simply flip loads of small items with low risk and high reward.
So why did the precursors spike up? Well there are a few possible reasons. First, i know of a few people that sit in lions arch at the TP 24/7 and flip items. (much like the real stock market…very boring) they observer market trends and well…if they get too excited they jump the gun and buy a load of things, as soon as this happens other people follow suit. They see 2 precursors of the same kind sell at the same time and then they buy one, then another watcher byes one, and boom the price just went up 50-100g in a few seconds (let alone 24hrs). This is likely, but there is one more likely reason precursors went up.
The second reason is slower, but relies heavily on circumstance. The people who read these forums are most likely looking to buy their precursors. Some probably have buy orders out. They read all the forums, get worried, and that 1 person who has the money but wants to know if precursors are going down, goes ahead and byes his precursor just so he has his. Now if a few people do this…say on the same day…the price of an item that only has 10-15 listings jumps…a lot…

EDIT: If your thinking the scavenger hunt thing A Net said will happen (eventually) might help, id hate to disappoint you. Looking at A Net’s history, chances are getting a precursor will stay relatively the same. Think about it, there not going to make them too cheap…otherwise it would be too easy…i expect it to stay around 500g. : (
EDIT EDIT:: chances are you also played the “outbid the other guy bidding on a precursor by 1 copper game” this also demonstrates people panicking…raising prices…PRO TIP, just leave your bids where they are…that person above you is probably going to take his buy order out, and just buy the thing straight out 5 minutes after he outbids you by 1 copper.

wait what? If your a Gs ranger your most likely going to have 5 points into a skill which gives you quickening zypher for 2 seconds. If you have to dodge roll back, then switch out your pet, not only are you waiting that ability but you are also waiting a dodge.
This brings me to my next point, Gs ranger is horrifyingly weak in PvE because of this, espically in wvw. Yes you can get in there and tank for a bit, but it does not last long ikittenerg, not to mention your cds are long. It seems to me the only way to run a ranger is to keep them in the back line, and even then they are sub par due to high mobility classes (thieves…) that can 2 hit most squishy rangers.
I find that running a bear, with 3 traps (frost, fire and spike) and doges at the right helps keep them at bay. Note that i use bear only because he is tanky, and spider with poison so i can keep a good amount of poison on him. I find that with 22k hp (virility, condtion, power) on a ranger, it helps with survivability dramatically.
TLDR, i use bear and spider for almost everything, and i run a tank condition damage ranger. It works, though it is still underpowered compared to other classes.
Woh there bud, i said off lv the lv 400 crafting itself. I already play the market and make enough money to satisfy me 10x over, it was only recently that i had an intrest in crafting at all .
1. You can make money by crafting. I did. Tons. I bought Onyx Cores, used a skill point to MF to Lodestone, crafted Superior Rune of the Ranger. I was making >60s profit after taxes and everything, which is a good use of my extra skill points.
This is really inventive…i have really not heard of this yet, so it was nice that some one shared that. Granted i knew about it before hand to some extent, but i associated the MF with RNG so i never really gave it much thought.
Any how, thx, ill so some math on that later. Though this does not really have to do with crafting through your crafting skills…its mystic forge. .-.
I’ve found that while many or maybe even most recipes won’t make a solid profit, there are always some that can, and you may have to do some looking to figure out which those are.
As for corrupted weapons, I made some of those last week. They all earned me a profit.
I would like to know some of them if you please. Like i said i looked into all of weaponsmiting, huntsman, and artifacting and found none, so id love to hear of what you have found.

First, you would get more than 10 lvs from crafting 1-400.
The experience gained from leveling crafting is based on a percentage of the exp required to reach the next level. Leveling a crafting discipline from 1-400 will give 10 levels of exp.
Second, im pretty sure the reason you craft is to make items and make money.
I leveled jeweler to 375; cooking and artificer to 400 on three or four characters now. I did not do so to make items and money. There is absolutely no faster way to level than crafting.
Again, i respect your opinion but i disagree. I am aware of the exp caps, and when i lved up my professions, i am curtain i gained more than 10 lvs. Maybe it is different with a lv 80. (hard numbers plz?)
If you are satisfied with paying gold to lv your character, then that is your preference. I never said it was faster, but unless you plan on maxing every profession just so you can reach 80, i recommend you actually play the game for the sake of getting your monies worth. (my opinion)
There is a reason i asked if this was working correctly, i honestly don’t think people with money should just skip 79 lvs of content. Heck WvW may not be “as fast” but it gets the job done in under a day.
I estimate it takes any where between 3-10g to lv a profession to 400. This said, i wanna see a return on this investment.
The return on the investment is 10 levels at less than a gold per level. That is such a good deal that players take it all the time for that alone.
400 in a crafting profession isn’t something you invest in to unlock, it’s a byproduct of buying levels for gold. It’s only in that framework that it makes any sense.
In order for crafting to work the way you think it should work, they’d have to rip the XP from crafting off the professions. Only at that point would it start to be considered an ‘investment’ that would yield returns.

Yes, having exp in there is nice, but its really not unique only to crafting. Srsly, wvw, dungeons, events, all pretty fast ways to lv. The reward for crafting should be something unique…and not just some cookie cutter pieces of armor you can buy off the TP for the same amount of cash it takes to craft without the hassle.

In most other games, all you get out of leveling crafting is the ability to craft materials for a profit. The up front costs of leveling crafting in the first place presents a barrier to entry that keeps crafts profitable.
In GW2, the fact that getting a 400 craft is worth 10 levels turns this on its head. Crafting is an incredibly popular way to level alts quickly, to essentially buy levels with gold. There isn’t nearly the barrier of entry on a high level crafting discipline, as it’s now just a side effect of leveling your characters.
There is money to be made off of crafting, but with essentially a negative up front cost to getting 400 crafting on a character, profits are inevitably going to take some work to acquire.
You don’t quite understand me bud. yes i know 400 crafting is easy to get. I know a fresh player can’t get there because they don’t have the resources. What I’m getting at is crafting should be considered as work. (fun work) witch you invest in to turn a profit into the future.
I estimate it takes any where between 3-10g to lv a profession to 400. This said, i wanna see a return on this investment. : ) Its not much to some people (myself included) but to some one who only has that money to invest…they would be disappointed.
There is a reason i did not touch crafting until i had acquired 300 skill points after all.
In most games i have played so far, making items and selling them at a profit makes you just that; a profit. In the cases of weaponsmiting, artifacting, and huntsman, i really found no such way to make a profit by making rare and exotic items. Why? Because the materials that go into the weapon + the 15% tax on the TP =/> the price of that weapon. (This is true for all the corrupted weps + rares) I can assume that armor crafting is the same way as well. Yes you could farm all the materials that go into that weapon and make it that way, but you could also just sell all those materials for the same amount of money and make a profit that way.
You could make rares and salvage them for Ectoes, but that is a gamble you may not win. (You could just place a 19s buy order on the creatable rares and salvage that way…its cheaper than actually crafting the item + you don’t need 375 crafting…hint hint) I’m not looking for a super fast way to make money, i am simply stating that 400 crafting is pretty much worthless aside from making legendary weps, and that basically the money/time/effort you put into getting a lv 400 crafting skill is really just for making the gifts for a legendary.
My question is, Is this working as intended? Opinions? Thoughts? Do you see a way to make money off 400 crafting that i don’t?

Simple idea that would make me happy would be to give it a bleed effect, slow the fire rate and times the damage by 4-5. Its not hitting high enough, and long bows don’t shoot fast. Maybe give it some kind of weekness? Undodgeable? Use your imagination A Net.
I used to run a similar dps build with those traits, untill i discovered that in wvw a warrior/mesmer/thief/ele/guardian/ ….mechanic…could out dps you with auto attacks…
yes, quickening zephyr is good, but a 45 second cool down = too long, not to mention you cant heal. That’s why i switched over to tank condition ranger, witch gives sustained DPS, AOE and a supporting tank, witch is almost on par with most other classes…(i have my complaints)

1,400 people sold 1 ecto.
1 person sold more than 2,544 ectos.This game has some SERIOUS problems. I can only assume that people that sell more than -say- 1,000 ectos on one day are somehow tracked and, if they do it consistently, are monitored to see where they come from.
~1000 ectos = ~300g
300g is not a lot of money for one person to have :/
it happens easily. if you place several buy orders for crafting materials, say 2000 of each log, that’s potentially 12,000 different transactions. at only around 20 transactions/page, that’s 600 pages from 1 day.
now do that for ore, food, fine, gemstones, random items you buy, rares to salvage into ectos, etc.
I would like it if it only loaded the page that you are viewing, and not all of them. Mine also takes so long to open it’s not useful and I just say “puppy it!”
I move more items than that in an hour :/ that’s why i hope a mod reads this.
I don’t think it would take too much to lump everything together at least…i mean its gata be less for the system to handle if it doesn’t have to individually list all the transactions.
I mean if you order 250 bones, why can’t it just give you a bar that said you have bought 50/250 so far? and when its done have it be at 100% and list it in the history as 250/250 bought. If you cancel the order early it could say “50/250 cancelled” or something.
Hello, i am one of those people that like to play with the market. Doing so i have made money. I’m getting to the point where my buying history has reached…200K pages. On some days it freezes on me, and on others, it takes forever to load. Needless to say I’m fed up with it; i don’t mind working the market, but its getting to be a rather tedious task. Now I’m not complaining about the taxes being high (economics people) or anything like that, i am saying to Anet that they could add a history clearing button for items you have bought, and instead of 200k pages of you bought 14 of this and 250 of that, make another button that lets you lump everything of a kind into one pile.
TLDR >> I have 200k pages of history, takes a while to load. A net, plz add 2 buttons.

First, rangers are not awful in anything really…i mean there is a reason you see 99% of bots being rangers in PvE. Also i have yet to see a class out Spvp a greatsword ranger. As for pets, i would like to see a dev say this in the update.
Pet AI GREATLY enhanced.
TLDR, make pets scary and give us more ways to use them, everything else is fine about the ranger, (except maybe dps) ((debatable))
heck no…play win 30 games? first that wont make any one really help you, it will make them want to win. I had no problems running in presents…i played a support…used 3 skill, grabbed the present and ran like hell….i literally got the achievements within 5 games.
A minor bug
A transmuted Mystic horn bow with a Perl bow
It does not show up right in the shop, as you can tell from the screenshots.
Note it still works correctly in game, and looks like a mystic horn bow, this just scared me a little in the shop when i thought it turned back :/
Also on a more serious note, why can’t i see my shoulders on the medium CoF set? Is it sompose to look like that?

A greatsword ranger in my mind is among the best to use in spvp and WvW roaming.

People Anet is giving you an opportunity to get a precursor by completing these events
Its a very small chance to get one, but its still a chance
If you don’t get one, you still get some pretty awesome stuff….
to top it all of, if your going for a precursor, great news they all went down about 100g, so now you have to farm less to get yours.
And quite frankly, whoever said they got nothing is lying…i know for a fact everyone got a 20 slot bag and an exotic accessory, and you probably got 2 exotics on top of that. How is that nothing?!?!
We all won, weather we were able to attend the event or not, it was an alright event, had it not been for the lag issues, it would have been a great event. Playing the event for me was reward enough, get an exotic, was icing on the cake.
To answer your question, why not do both? Farming is fun and events are also fun. By the way, now you have to farm less to get your precursor because there are now more of them. And also. very few came out, so if your waiting till the next event for your precursor, you might be disappointed.
I ran the event with 200 people… not one got a precursor…i know this because ppl were showing off their exotics…quite frankly i was satisfied.
And cmon people arena net put a chest where you had a chance of getting a freaking precursor….you should be kissing their kitten for giving you the opportunity! And hell does no one realize that pretty much every precursor went down 100gs? Now you can farm less to get yours!
I want more events like this, lots more, but i can do without the invisible crabs. I did not have a problem with Dcs but i had a problem when i died it would never load when i went to a way point…i just restarted the game and it worked fine.

I liked this event because it gave you a very small chance to get precursors, if not it gives you an awesome accessory, 2 exotics and maybe some other loot!
The only thing i didn’t enjoy about this event is the bothersome lag and invisible monsters…
If you couldn’t make the event, bravo, you put life ahead of pixles, pat yourself on the back.

So my friend joined Gw2 and he wants to transfer over to Darkhaven which is currently full. So my questions are
Will Darkhaven ever be not full?
Does it cost currently to switch worlds or is it free?
And Is there a guesting system, that allows me to play with my friend on his world and vice-versa?

Good ideas but unnessary, i thought it was fun and challanging, and the goo comming so close to me made it feel like i was actually doing a real jump quest, making it really exciting for me ^^
For any one that doesn’t know, if you play till 3 am and stay there till everyone leaves, you will be alone. It worked with me but i was trying it for 3 hours, ironically i didn’t get it on that day, i got it the very next day in 20 minutes. Lol
